I’m so grateful today after being sick for more than a thousand days, over three years of my life. Now, I’m consistently healthy and I would love to share with you how I’ve done that, what I’ve learned, because this will literally help you stop being sick.

It will help you eliminate the majority, if not all of sickness in your life.

First, let me tell you how we got here and what my life’s like today.

I’ve been in this body for 35 years now and it has been sick for over a thousand days. Some years, I would be sick as many as nearly a hundred days, other years, maybe 20 or 30 days.

I consistently would get colds and the flu whenever they came around, and I have experienced a ton of different symptoms, nausea, headaches, back pain, tons of different ailments.

I’ve never had any surgery and today it is very rare if ever that I even experienced minor symptoms, and I don’t even remember the last time I’ve actually gotten sick.

I think it’s been about nine months or more since I’ve even had a sick day.

I often will completely bypass other people getting sick around me. For example, my family had a few months ago a flu that put all of them in bed for several days and all I got was a little dip in energy and a desire to take a nap, and I’m grateful that I can do this today.

The number one lesson I’ve learned from this is the following.

Almost all of those, if not all of the thousand plus days I’ve been sick in my life, through my thinking, emotions and behaviors, I contributed or completely caused the sickness.

However, I didn’t know what to do about it. From this point of view, you could say I was somewhat a victim of my own thinking emotions and actions. I didn’t realize that all that sickness was optional.

If I discovered ways to live healthy and if I surrounded myself with people who were healthy, I include things like mental illness as being sick because these will often cause physical illness, and my mental illness was the main cause of my physical symptoms.

That for me often manifested in drinking excessive amounts of alcohol to try to reduce my stress levels, which then in turn led me to the majority of the time I’ve spent sick in my life with hangovers.

I tried to stop.

I tried to quit and only when I desperately prayed to God for help, and then went to Alcoholics Anonymous and surrounded myself on a daily basis with people who are able to stay sober and live happy lives, only when I started surrounding myself in a community of people who had what I wanted and started doing what they do and now what I do, then I was able to break free of the majority of my sickness, but for me just staying sober is not far enough.

I want to be able to avoid things like the flu when they come around or avoid anything more serious than that. I know I want to avoid getting cancer and avoid heart problems. I want to avoid all the top 15 causes of death and I want to be healthy for my entire life regardless of how old I am.

What I see today is the diet I eat, the behaviors I engage in, the thinking that goes through my mind, the emotions I feel all of these things contribute to my health.

For example, I tried an elimination diet a few years ago eating just rice and turkey and I got sick within two days of starting that diet, at which point I quit that diet.

In that case, the way I ate almost immediately made me sick, and today I eat a whole plant-based diet, which is from the book “How Not To Die.”

The book “How Not To Die” is researched and the life’s work of a doctor who’s done the research to find a diet that eliminates or prevents, reduces and even reverses all the top 15 causes of death.

I follow that diet and it also reduces or eliminates many things like the common cold, things like stress. I’ve read several books and they consistently mentioned how toxic stress is to the human body.

Now, a lot of us think if we drink a little bit of alcohol and we reduce our stress, it’s actually helping us, the ideal is not to poison your body with any kind of alcohol, drugs or medication and reduce your stress naturally.

I find massages, meditation, light to moderate exercise, all of these things help reduce my stress and changing my lifestyle.

I’ve recently been unplugging from the Internet because I find being on the Internet all day increases my stress level.

Playing video games all day increases my stress level.

Now, playing an hour of video games might be fine, but if I’m watching a bunch of TV and playing a bunch of video games, and doing my business online, that adds up to a lifestyle where I get stressed, and thus I’m limiting my screen time to an hour a day because I see spending a bunch of time on screens, on the Internet and on TV, that is reducing my immunity by increasing my stress and isolating me, leading me to selfishness and self-centered thinking.

Online games are very stressful, and most of the time I’ve gotten sick in my life, it’s been the same formula. I’ve played a lot of video games, I’ve drunk a lot of alcohol, I’ve exercised really hard and I’ve eaten a poor diet.

Almost every day I’ve been sick in my life was that exact formula and the thing is, you might not see a way out or you might think that this is who I am and I don’t want to way out, but here’s the good news, you can literally, you can pray to God or whoever you pray to, “Please let me live my best life. Let me see, let me be honest with myself. Let me see all the possibilities for my life.”

For me, I prayed God, “Please help me stay sober.”

I prayed that every day and when I started praying that, it was a gateway into a healthy life because I could see alcohol was the number one thing I was doing to poison and reduce my immunity, and make myself sick. However, I drank alcohol because I was stressed because of all those other things in my life.

I think walking is a very healthy form of exercise, and then something like, I enjoy playing tennis, I enjoy doing some moderate workouts at the gym. I found that if I exercise too hard, that will actually lower my immunity and make me sick.

Yes, something to believe, and I’ve done this because there are so many messages out there, there are so many people, companies and governments telling you that basically your health is somebody else’s responsibility, that other people and things going around outside you are what makes you sick.

I’m here to say from my experience, almost all the sickness I’ve experienced in 35 years has been a function of my own decisions, my own thinking, my own emotions and my own behavior, and that in becoming aware of that, I’ve been able to break free of not only actual sickness, but fear of sickness.

I can go around other people and I’m not afraid of getting sick and I’m not afraid of transmitting illness. That is a gift, that is a blessing, that is a miracle, and I want you to be able to carry that message, that you can have fantastic levels of health, that you are responsible for your health.

Yes, GhostBoy says, “Alcohol is bad.”

Dude, it is.

A lot of us are tempted and sold on the idea of drinking alcohol because alcohol can help numb the pain of stress and of sickness. However, it’s a lot better to get to the cause of stress and the cause of the pain instead of just trying to take the edge off of it with things like alcohol, drugs and painkillers.

I know this from experience and that’s why I’m sharing it with you today. If you are sick, if you’re struggling, if you’re afraid of being sick, there is hope and I’m living proof it.

I’ve spent so many days of my life sick and I’m here to say that you don’t have to live that way if you don’t want to. If you want to be healthy, literally pray, “Please God, let me see what I can do to be healthy today.”
