I went through one of your older content. In that you mentioned to lower standards and not script to help increase the speed of output.
I followed the advice but I tend to repeat myself over and over again.
I also have a lot of ‘erm’ and ‘amm’ in my video as well as awkward pauses.
Which results me in recording my video over and over again
But after scripting my videos, I make less mistakes and I record once and edit once (for easy videos).
Did you start making your videos the same way ?
Is there a good exercise I can do to practice free flowing & off the cuff presentations ?March 20, 2020 at 2:53 pm #49779Jerry BanfieldKeymaster
You will continue to get better with practice! I started my videos with no script from the beginning and the more I did them, the better the quality got! If scripting works for you, then you of course can use it! What I do is always talk as if I am always on camera so that even when talking to my mom I am speaking without ums and ahs!March 24, 2020 at 4:06 am #49874Adnan HasbiParticipant
Thanks for the advice, I guess I am aiming too high with minimal skills for now.
But with more practice, I am sure the speed of things will improve.March 25, 2020 at 3:51 pm #49946Jerry BanfieldKeymaster
Aiming high is good as long as we have the patience to make our way there! I consistently aim high in my work online!
