Jerry Banfield Math Strike

🎯 Nine tiles, one answer

Every problem puts nine answers on the board. Hit the right one before the clock runs out.

⏱️ Speed counts

Your points multiply with how fast and how accurately you answer. Hesitate and the score slows down with you.

🎓 Twelve grades

Pick your grade: addition and subtraction in Grade 1, fractions and area in the middle, trig and precalculus by Grade 12.

🔥 Streaks

Correct answers in a row build a streak bonus. Three wrong answers and the run is over.

🏆 Leaderboard

Your best run counts. Every owner's best points show on this page with the grade and the number correct.

📱 Any device

Tap the tiles on a phone or tablet, click them with a mouse, or use the number keys on a keyboard.

🏆 Leaderboard

Your score is the points from one run: correct answers, speed, accuracy and best streak, with a bonus for higher grades. Your best run counts. Get the game, play, and your name goes up here.

How a run works

Pick a grade and press start. A problem appears with nine tiles underneath; one tile is right and eight are the mistakes people really make. Answer and the next problem is already there. Every correct answer adds to your streak and your points; a wrong one costs a strike, and three strikes end the run. Each run is scored on how many you got right, how fast you answered, how accurate you were and your best streak, multiplied up for harder grades.

What you get for $9

The game forever, unlimited runs across all twelve grades, your place on the leaderboard, and the game's own chat room on this site where you can talk with me and the other owners. One purchase per account; sign in on any device with your email or Internet Identity and play.

What do I need to play?

Any current browser: Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari, on a phone, tablet or computer. No download and nothing to install.

How does the leaderboard decide the score?

The points from a single run, exactly as the game shows them at the end: correct answers, answers per second, accuracy and best streak, with a multiplier for higher grades. Each finished run is sent to your account; your best one is what the board shows, along with the grade and the number you got right in that run.

Which grade should I pick?

Whatever you can answer quickly. Higher grades multiply the score, but a fast, accurate run at a grade you know beats a slow run at a grade you are guessing at.

Can I play more than once?

As many runs as you like, forever, on every grade.
