I'm ALL IN on Internet Computer Protocol ICP

My friends, I'm all in on Internet Computer Protocol. I'm committing, I'm marrying this crypto and the community, and if it's not on Internet Computer Protocol from now on, it doesn't exist to me. I'm not going to review anything that's not on Internet Computer Protocol going forward, and I intend on making all my videos about Internet Computer Protocol and everything that's in the ecosystem and included on it. Let me tell you why I've decided to go all in on this, out of all the altcoins I could have chosen.

The one reason I went all in

If I could state the number one reason, it's because it does what nothing else in crypto does. It has a major technological implementation and innovation that I don't know where else to find. It's the only place you can do everything directly on chain. It's an entire new way to build the Internet. I think Internet Computer's market cap potential is in the trillions of dollars, because it is the biggest vision in all of crypto. It's executing the world computer vision that Ethereum was started on. But Ethereum is not going to be able to handle or scale to be a true world computer, because its technology only allows it to do a tiny bit of actual processing.

Internet Computer Protocol is already doing thousands of transactions per second, and it's already doing the equivalent of hundreds of thousands of Ethereum transactions per second. It's infinitely scalable, and there are so many projects building on Internet Computer. There are the altcoin launches, or these SNS launches, and the launchpad on Internet Computer is just gaining momentum. Anyone can participate. There's no KYC. The minimums are often only $3 to $10, $20, or $50 to put into one of these altcoins. This is where I see we're going, and it's important, especially in crypto, to look at where we are going. So many of the crypto videos I see are people talking about where we are and where we've been. I don't really care where we've been. And I don't care where we are that much either, because I've put almost all the money I have invested in cryptos onto Internet Computer. That's because this is where I see crypto going.

Everything on chain

On Internet Computer, you can build everything for an application totally on chain. You don't need off-chain oracles. You don't need Amazon Web Services or something to host your application. You don't need to make your own DAO software. This chain does everything, and there's nothing else competing with it. They've made so many innovations in crypto. For example, decentralized identity: you can easily sign in on any device using, for example, your iPhone. If you've got face recognition or a thumbprint, you just connect that to your Internet Identity. On Windows you can just use your password with your cryptographic key on your computer. Once you start using Internet Computer, and once you start exploring the Internet Computer ecosystem, to me there's no going back. Everything else feels so far behind compared to Internet Computer that I don't even want to talk about or pay attention to anything else.

I also find in life that the places where I've got the biggest returns have been where I went all in. That said, the places I've taken the biggest losses have been where I've gone all in too. I've been reading Elon Musk's book, and perhaps this has had some impact on me. In the book he was talking about how he played Texas hold 'em poker, and he had never played before. He just sat down at the table and went all in every hand until he won, and then got up, having had enough of it. Elon Musk has a very all-in mindset, like, I'm going to throw everything I've got at this company, and if it fails then I'll do something else.

What I see in crypto is that a lot of the channels that are growing successfully are all-in channels. They just crank videos out about the same crypto every single day, and often they pick cryptos where there's almost no substance, so the videos are extremely repetitive and all they talk about is price and speculation. On Internet Computer, I can make videos about something else in the ecosystem every day. The ecosystem is so big that even though I cover Internet Computer every day, and I intend to make a video about Internet Computer every day, there's so much I can cover. I haven't even made a video about DSCVR yet, even though I use it every day. I haven't made a video about Funded yet, or DMail yet, or ICDex yet, or OpenChat yet. There are so many things I've not even made videos about, because this ecosystem is just the tip of the iceberg.

Looking for the black hole in crypto

What I've been looking for in crypto is like a blockchain singularity — where is it going, where's the black hole in crypto where everyone's going to just build. Lately there have been a bunch of these Ethereum layer twos and a lot of excitement, but those are the opposite of a black hole. Those are just scattering all over the place. They're horrible user experiences, and when I use them compared to Internet Computer, there's no comparison.

What's amazing with Internet Computer is that you can be using it without even knowing that you're using it. To me, that's where mass adoption will come in. These apps on Internet Computer, like Distrikt, which is a social media app on Internet Computer, you can use and you don't even have to touch crypto. The average user has no need to do anything with crypto. You can use it without knowing that it's doing anything with crypto. Enterprises can build their applications on Internet Computer without needing things like firewalls, because it's all built with smart contracts. Where software has been the huge thing that has driven development in the tech world, it looks like smart contracts going forward are that next big thing. And Internet Computer is the best place to run smart contracts, because it's all on chain.

If your application is not on chain, then your DAO is often not useful. And the tokens, if you're buying a token for something that's not on chain, you generally have no real control over it. The more users get smarter in crypto, the more I see that people are going to keep coming to Internet Computer. Once you go Internet Computer, you're not going to go back. I have spent hundreds of hours researching Internet Computer, and I don't see anything better. I don't see anything better coming to compete with it either. There are others that are trying to make something like Internet Computer, but they're so far behind that they're never going to catch it. For example, I like DeSo, but there are multiple decentralized social media applications on Internet Computer that have more users single-handedly than DeSo does, and some of these have not even done fundraisers for their token yet.

Putting everything into the ecosystem

Yes, there are potential issues with Internet Computer. But at this point, I'm putting everything I've got into crypto into Internet Computer. I will be selling everything else I have everywhere else so I can invest in the Internet Computer ecosystem. What I see with the Internet Computer ecosystem is that it's not just about the token. They have a team of hundreds of developers. They're one of the most active in terms of updating their GitHub and publishing new code. Internet Computer has some of the best talent in all of crypto, and they've solved a bunch of difficult problems that these other chains haven't even started trying to do anything with. So there's so much material for me to work with.

I wouldn't go all in on a crypto where I couldn't make unique videos every day. But with Internet Computer, there's probably a year's worth of unique videos I could make right now, and then a year from now there'll be a whole bunch more things to make. If you want things besides Internet Computer, this may be the end of our time together. I'll also make music whenever I can. If you want to go deeper on everything I'm covering here, you can follow along with my ICP Crypto playlist, and if you haven't checked out Internet Computer yet, I invite you to go to internetcomputer.org and see how deep and how big this ecosystem really is.

It feels like a crime what I've talked about so far, because I've just talked so little. I love answering questions and going deeper on Internet Computer with people who are as excited about this as I am. Come explore this ecosystem with me — once you go Internet Computer, you're not going back.
