Coin Bureau Exposed: Why I'll Never Watch It Again

I used to watch Coin Bureau videos every single day, before I found out what I'm about to share with you here, because I didn't know any better. I just saw that Coin Bureau is one of the top channels in all of crypto. I'm not going to show anything specifically from their channel here, to make sure this post is untouchable. But I am going to share my experience with watching Coin Bureau, and exactly why I would never watch another Coin Bureau video again.

The way they covered Internet Computer Protocol

My number one issue with Coin Bureau is the way they've covered Internet Computer Protocol. In my opinion, ICP has the best technology in all of crypto. You would think, logically, that the best tech, the project consistently breaking through new barriers, introducing things like Chain Key Bitcoin and Chain Key Ethereum, having a wallet that is fully on-chain, would get serious coverage. ICP has made some of the biggest breakthroughs in cryptography and cryptocurrency in terms of real technology out of anything I've seen.

And yet Coin Bureau did some of the absolute strongest FUD when ICP came out. He put a video out saying that ICP is totally centralized, that it's the World Economic Forum, that they're going to take over the world, that it's a one global currency. It was really well done. And then his videos are constantly hyping up Bitcoin, where the top 0.28% of holders control 80% of the Bitcoin. That's not decentralized. You've got these ETFs that now control the crypto exchanges, which hold huge amounts of it and can manipulate the price. That's not decentralized either. If this were quality crypto coverage, if this were real crypto news, they would talk about some of the biggest innovations in technology. But when I looked through the videos, this is what I realized while I was watching Coin Bureau: this is wasting my time. It's not talking about the genuinely most exciting stuff.

Now, yes, there are some genuinely useful videos. I liked the video about why meme coins are failing. But even those end up pumping things like Solana. It's just another crypto channel pushing all the mainstream narratives, and there's a bunch of conspiracy-flavored stuff mixed in there too.

Why I see it as a deep state channel

I'll be open about this: I'm deep into the conspiracy world. I've personally seen craft myself, firsthand, that I believe are extraterrestrial craft. I've seen them with my own eyes, and I intentionally made contact with them. So I am into the conspiracy world quite a bit, and to me, this is a channel funded and pushed by the deep state. If you want to see what they're doing, watch what Coin Bureau is putting out. They're constantly pushing Aptos and Sui. They're pushing all the main narratives, like AI agents.

James Allen made a great video the other day with Cityscape. He asked: have you ever used an AI agent you actually liked? I hate interacting with AI agents, because they don't give you what you need. Most of the time you need to interact with a real human being. You go to tech support and you get an AI agent. Facebook was using these years ago to provide what they called "support." You'd submit a request and they'd tell you to read an article, and I'd say that didn't work. They'd give you a different article. That didn't work. They'd give you the original article again. That didn't work. They would just waste your time, and they wouldn't make it clear that this was an AI agent. They'd put names with it, like you were interacting with a person, but it wasn't a person. It was clearly an AI agent. I have never used an AI agent once that I actually liked. But you see Coin Bureau's channel pushing things like AI agents. These are narratives that, in my experience, you're getting ripped off on.

The endless cycle of contradictory hype

Coin Bureau puts out a video: Ethereum about to explode. ETH is not going in a good direction. In my view, Ethereum is crumbling. And then: Dogecoin to a dollar. Dogecoin is a copy of Litecoin, which is a copy of Bitcoin. Absolute dumpster fire video. Two months ago: Solana and Bitcoin, "last chance" on the thumbnail.

Now, yes, I realize other people have criticized my videos, and you can watch theirs. I'll criticize my own videos too. But I've watched Coin Bureau's videos for about a year. And one of the worst things I've seen the Coin Bureau channel do is subtly deceive you. For example, they did a video with some guy involved with Near, maybe one of the founders. The whole video was about Near Protocol and AI. But unless you're as deep as I am in crypto, you didn't hear the most important thing in that video. They talked about Near Protocol and AI and all this hype, but not once did they say Near Protocol is actually doing anything on the protocol itself, besides giving money to tokens that launch on the protocol, which then make stuff that's off-chain. That's incredibly deceptive and useless.

And that's how I would sum up the Coin Bureau channel: incredibly deceptive and useless. Anything on the Coin Bureau channel is not something that's going to really help you. Because if it's on that channel, you're not getting some tip. You're not finding some altcoin gem before everybody else knows about it. If it's on the Coin Bureau channel, it's too late. They're not covering anything early. For example, a recent video with hundreds of thousands of views: Solana versus Sui. In my opinion they both suck. The tech is garbage. They just pay people to use the chain. Compared to ICP, Solana and Sui are garbage technologically, and in time, as more and more people build on ICP, I believe videos like that are wasting your time.

Over and over, videos about Bitcoin. Over and over. And then a video asking, does Binance Coin have potential? "These cryptos will shock you." "The elites don't want you to know about this." "This is the end of Ethereum." A couple of videos later, Ethereum is going to go up. Then BitTensor's TAO coin. They did a video about why BitTensor TAO could be the next big thing in AI crypto. I absolutely think the BitTensor TAO token, and the entire thing, is fraudulent. They are, as far as I can see, doing nothing useful with AI. And this is what happens over and over again.

The Altcoin Daily, that's the next video. Then the Coin Bureau channel: Near Protocol undervalued updates and Near price predictions, like 10X on Near Protocol. In my opinion Near Protocol is way overvalued. It might be the project closest to ICP technologically, but they're years and years behind. Then there's XRP after XRP video on this channel. XRP, to me, is one of the worst things in crypto. I've seen firsthand how XRP videos are pushed by bots, from back when I hyped XRP up two years ago. I've made video after video showing that if you look at the data, XRP is going nowhere. Just look at the ledger. It's going nowhere.

No transparency, and what they refuse to cover

During the last bear market, Coin Bureau did one video after another about how bad things were, how we were going to zero. I would never trust the Coin Bureau channel again, because they also have no transparency about which coins they're holding and who's paid them. Sure, an individual video might disclose a paid promotion, but usually they don't. I'm taking a slight leap of faith here, but it's a leap that's pretty close to a knowing: I believe they've taken huge amounts of money to shill Solana and Sui over and over again. And you know why I can say that with 99% confidence? Because they don't talk about the best tech in crypto. If they actually wanted to put out helpful videos, they'd talk about the best tech in crypto. But in my view DFINITY hasn't paid them to talk about it.

They do occasionally post on X about ICP. They put up a post asking, "Are you bullish about ICP?" And I'm thinking, where did this come from? Their posts on X are blatant engagement bait. "What do you think is the best AI crypto coin?" Not providing any real value at all, just tricking people into pushing them up.

I'm scrolling back through their videos as I write this. They've got things like crypto news on Pepe, and NVIDIA from 12 months ago. I didn't think NVIDIA was a good idea 12 months ago, but that one actually looked pretty accurate. "AI cryptos that could 100x," which I think are absolute garbage coins they're pushing, never once mentioning that ICP is the only crypto that can run AI on-chain. Near hype after Near hype. In my view Near Protocol sucks. And then pumping some of these random things, a "Bybit review," what I'd call an utter waste of your time. Comparing Solana to Ethereum. I'm getting back into the videos I watched here, and this is a channel I would never watch again.
