Why This Dominic Williams Post Has Me So Hyped
Dominic Williams just explained the future of AI agents and AI infrastructure on Internet Computer Protocol, and this is a huge deal. This is what we need crypto for. This is so far ahead of where everybody's looking right now. This solves some massive real world problems, and this is why I'm so hyped on Internet Computer Protocol. I'm really excited. I'm doing this as a live video on YouTube directly on my Jerry Banfield ICP channel, and I'll put the recording on X. What we're going to do here is look over this post that Dominic Williams made and explain why this is such a big deal. WordBear, thank you for being the first ever to chat on the new Jerry Banfield ICP channel along with Gray Vastine.
I walk through more of Dominic's thinking and the rest of these breakdowns in my my ICP Crypto playlist.
This is a post that Dominic Williams just made today, and this is more than I'm seeing out of any other founder. Foundation lead, and I'm seeing this is more than anybody else is doing anywhere else. Look at how big of a problem this solves. So some of you may, I'm going to try and walk you through exactly why this solves such a huge problem, and who is going to adopt this initially, and why employees, organizations, governments will want to move over onto this. Right now, Dom's post says, nearly every solar entrepreneur, startup, small and medium enterprise. Enterprise government department will want to become an agentic organization or cybernetic org.
Internet computer protocol makes this technology possible. So right now, when you hear all this hype about AI agents, here's what you need to actually run it correctly. And the way Dominic has laid this out is that if you can build on this new framework, you are going to be way faster and more efficient and built for AI. The problem is on. The existing way the web is built, you can't just set this up on Amazon Web Services because you've got all these tools, and Bobby O lays this out really well on his channel. And what Dominic is showing is the future, something different, where you build all this stuff around this world model, where all the key data and everything is in here in the world, and then you have the agentic AI and the custom built software as a service.
Built on demand by the AI, then employees are accessing that. Nice to see you, Conrad Dome, Natool, what's up?
My Tangled Solopreneur Stack as the Problem
So to compare, let me give you an example as a solopreneur. I have my data in all these different places, my X account, my YouTube account. Then I've got things like QuickBooks to track my software. I have bank accounts then to keep my money. Then I have my AI like ChatGPT and Gemini used to research videos. Then I have like Canva for my marketing. I'm looking at my bookmarks for this. Like it's a mess. I have so many different dependencies and all my data is stuck in all these different places. I can't have an AI actually try and go through my data and do anything.
And I'm certainly not putting something on my computer to try and access all this stuff. And there's so many points of failure. Meanwhile, if you're working at a big company, you're in the same thing. You're using Microsoft Teams for this. And then you have a different software. You have a software solution for that. And then the AI can't access the stuff over here. Or if it does, you have to build out a custom solution for that. So the existing stack that people are using for technology is built with all kinds of complexity, all kinds of points of failure. Often if one point goes down, the whole system goes down.
And what Dominic is showing, so I had to explain that to set up. This is a model that's drastically more efficient. So imagine if I could build all of my data. Into one single world, and then I could have the agentic AI go and build all the software I need around that instead of using pre built things like QuickBooks or Microsoft Word or Excel that then don't talk with each other. I can just tell the agentic AI build me my own basically like version of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel and then a bookkeeping software and just build all that stuff around my unique needs. Now, for me personally, as a solo entrepreneur, this would provide a massive advantage where then the AI builds the applications, then the AI can easily access it, and I could just tell the AI what I want it to do.
Like, hey, look through all my video ideas and tell me which ones are the best that I can do. Meanwhile, what I have to do instead today is I have a Microsoft Word document where I have all my ideas for ICP videos in that document. And then I take that and paste it into ChatGPT. Then in order to like check for policies and topics, then I have to paste ChatGPT's output and put that into Gemini. Then Gemini gives titles, then I put that back in ChatGPT, then I generate a thumbnail, then I stick that in OBS. You see, I have all these different software platforms I'm using, and I'm a person then trying to interact with all these software. If your own tools and data are scattered like this and you want to think through how AI and ICP could pull them together for you, you can join Jerry Banfield Family and we'll map out your setup.
This is building it, it's reverse engineering it and backwards creating everything. And this is possible now because you have AI that can just build you things that you need directly. And this way, imagine, hey, Bobby O's here. Speaking of Bobby O, there is Bobby O. Nice to see you. Yes, Bobby O's really helped to educate me on the importance of all this. And then when I look at this, because when most people look at this, it doesn't make any sense. It's just like technical gibberish. But what this is, this is people going through AI agents to access all the data and having everything in one simple custom built system.
Do you understand how much complexity? That saves how then you could secure all that by putting it directly on the blockchain. Do you understand what a big deal that is that the blockchain?
Why This Only Works Securely on ICP
I know this is not financial advice, and I obviously am all in on ICP and ICP is the only infrastructure you can build this safely on. Because if you built this without ICP, the problem would be the security. The problem would be that if you tried to build this on centralized tech, even if you could make all the stuff work together, then if you get your world hacked, then everything else. Goes down if somebody sneaks some bad data through hacking or one of your employees is compromised. Whereas if this is all on ICP, you can control that. You can easily isolate employees and their interactions and permission.
Everybody trying to set all this up without ICP is a nightmare if it's even possible. And Dom lays into this more. And I'm going to actually use chat GPT here to simplify it because Dom's language was pretty complicated. So I asked chat GPT to simplify it. And then, I because I read through it, comprehended it myself, then asked chat GPT to describe it to deepen my own understanding of it. So in plain English, a normal organization is just what I said. Like you have docs scattered all over. Then the AI you have is very limited in what it can actually do. And then the idea is that every organization builds out its own data, its own set of software services and has everything all custom made, all with AI.
And then. Then people just access the AI like that is so much more efficient. Tom, the magician. Nice to see you on here. And Nate, we might be 80 years old before this gets huge adoption. No, because the thing right now are the web. We have websites, apps, databases, APIs and humans manually connecting everything. You see, this is so much more efficient and can save so much money that what I'm seeing is that solopreneurs, people like me, are incentivized to jump on this immediately. Because I can now I pay thousands of dollars a year for subscriptions to all these different tools, Canva, Microsoft App Suite and all the QuickBooks.
If I could put all my data together and just have AI build me out custom tools, then I would be so far ahead of where I'm at. So for the new companies, for the small businesses, for the solopreneurs, jumping straight into what Dominic Williams is talking about. Makes much more sense than trying to use all the old stuff, Bobby. Oh, thank you for the first super chat ever on this brand new channel. I will need to set up some notifications on the stream, but thank you very much, Bobby. Oh, for the $5 super chat. And Bobby is the one who has broke all this down and explained it to help me understand it.
Because when I got into ICP, I didn't understand how, I was so used to the complexity of using all this stuff myself. That I didn't, I didn't understand like how screwed up all this stuff is. So I, Bobby always helped me understand this. And that's why I'm a member of Bobby's channel. I watched this one on a different account. So this, I, Bobby breaks all this down. And unlike me, Bobby actually was in the world of selling all this stuff. So it makes a lot more, that, that was his world, seeing how complicated all this stuff is. So the, the thing that will drive it.
What Will Actually Drive Adoption
Adoption is that this saves money, this increases security, and this makes AI much more effective. And the three of those combined will make it so adoption is relevant and happening faster than you might think.
How Fast AI Already Changed My Work
Look how fast AI has changed everything in the last few years. When I was a content creator online a couple years ago, AI image generation was just getting started. And it was ghetto. And it, like I was barely using. AI in my content workflow, look at this thumbnail that I generated in a couple of minutes, like, look how high quality this thumbnail is and this little pulse, like, look how high quality a thumbnail I can get now because I'm using ICP and how is the quality of the stream? It, it looks kind of ghetto. It looks like it's kind of choppy on my end. I, I'll, I'll double check in on here, but look how much AI has drastically increased everything.
Oh, no. Okay. It looks fine on my phone. So this AI has changed everything for me as a YouTuber in just two years, like three years ago, I had to make my own ghetto thumbnails all the time and they always looked like crap. And then that researching took so much longer. Like today I can do, I can review, I reviewed on my crypto reviews channel, I viewed five different altcoins and the AI sped up making the thumbnail, it sped up the research on all the altcoins, it speeds up the YouTube description. So in just three years. AI has drastically changed what I'm doing in content creation and that's still with siloed AI, with AI that's like tunnel vision, only takes the data I give it, can't do anything else on my computer.
This, the adoption for ICP in this model could happen much faster. I can't wait to see what happens. I think it's gonna be a lot faster than you think because there's huge incentives. Dominic, this has made something here that solves huge real world problems and we may need some more time to kind of get some initial adoption, but you see things like vibe coding have taken off.
Building It Today With Caffeine AI
I've been able to build this entire website on the ICP blockchain directly with AI. I'm grateful I had two calls with people yesterday and somebody else bought a call for Wednesday next week. I would love to talk with you and we can even record a video if you want to do a call together. And like this website is a huge asset to me. So when you have people already building on Caffeine AI on ICP and you can plug Caffeine AI into these other solutions that are also on ICP, then you can build out your crypto projects, you can build out your website, your meme coin launcher.
If you want to see exactly how I build on ICP by chatting with AI, I put together Caffeine AI Tutorial: Build Apps on the Blockchain by Chatting.
You can have one single person that can do what a few years ago was an unimaginable amount of development and work. And this is a huge deal for influencers especially because influencers have audiences and we consistently get ripped off trying to monetize the audiences, like having a developer try and build the website for us or having some affiliate thing we're selling and they take most of the money we generate. This setup is huge for entrepreneurs and small businesses but even for enterprises. Enterprises could save huge amounts of money and not just in terms of what they pay but in liabilities. Right now there's huge liabilities for all these companies that are getting hacked, that have all these people's data.
They're in a position where they need to secure all this stuff because the liabilities that are hanging around from all of these loose ends, all of these holes that they have to plug are huge. Loving your videos and collabs are blockchain built. Thank you. Go Danho. The tech is great. Well, the price will reflect the adoption someday. But the thing is we're kind of in an all or nothing thing with ICP. Like this, when you see the level of technology this is putting out, you can see the urgent necessity to keep this secret because if people in crypto realize when they think everything in crypto is junk and useless and even the people in the know like Vitalik are pretending that we're just, we just need people to make some solutions.
We just, we need crypto. It's like Vitalik. Uncover your eyes and you will see. Like this is, this is what's happening on ICP and like everything else in crypto is basically useless and his narrative's in hype. So when you're talking, let me wrap up what I was saying about Dom's post. Like today, most companies are buying, spending all kinds of money on all kinds of software as a service or as a software as a service. In the future, you can have AI just build the services for them. Now that saves a huge amount of money in licensing. There's so much money that companies and people like me are just dumping into these software as a service.
Like I just dump money into QuickBooks every month. And even ChatGPT is a, is S A S S, asset ass I think, but software as a service platform. I have so many things, even as a solopreneur, I just dump money into QuickBooks. I just dump money into all the time because I use them. But imagine if I could just build out my own suite of software with AI in a fully controlled environment where I have control of the data, where I have all my stuff. Like as I said earlier, imagine if I could build out something where I could cut Canva, where I could have AI that already is functioning in there.
So I could, I could maybe use ChatGPT or I could do a ChatGPT plugin directly to my data. Imagine if I'm able to cut out using QuickBooks, and Microsoft Word, and Canva, and a couple other things, and just put all the data into one single platform, then have AI agents be able to access all my data for me, then I could do really cool things with it. And for me, that's not as big of a deal because it's not that complicated. But the more employees you add, because if it's just me with a Word document and Canva and OBS, I can just do all that stuff myself.
But if, let's say, I have 10 people working for me, and then they're using my Word documents to try and do my video ideas, then it starts to, you start to multiply the level of complexity. So what Dominic's talking about is tomorrow companies, you can just have AI build your software as a service. Right now, employees spend a ton of time operating software, just moving things manually between things that don't talk to each other. But instead, imagine if employees are acting directly with AI agents, and the AI agents operate and create the software. Like that is, is so much more effective in terms of time, in terms of money, and in terms of data security and integrity and verifiability.
Meanwhile, all the data companies have is often trapped in apps or silos. But if you put all the data together with the software directly and have the AI agents interface and create all of it, like that is so much better than what we're using today. And look at the speed element of this, where you have an AI agent that has all your data in one place. The bigger the company, the more data, the more they have, this is so much more efficient. Even for a solopreneur though, this could save a lot of money building all this stuff in one place instead of paying for all these different things. If you want ongoing help thinking through where AI and ICP actually fit into your own work, that is exactly the kind of thing we can dig into together when you join Jerry Banfield Family.
So what Dom's Post is saying is, like this is what's possible and where we're headed in the future. I'm obsessed with looking like where are we going in the future to get in position? And this is why, this is such a valuable, like this to me is a narrative that's so far ahead of anything else in crypto that you've got to, to keep this on the down low. Because when I just reviewed cryptos on, my crypto reviews channel, they're talking about finance and payments. Like this is talking about real infrastructure that solves a massive problem. So if we dig deeper into Dominic's post, he's talking about how the outer layers, employees that orchestrate the AI and the AI builds all this stuff from scratch, caffeine, clogged code and perplexity, and then caffeine snorkel.
Look, this is, you're like, why are people gonna adopt this? Well, when you can auto migrate legacy systems and see what's different when Dominic talks versus most of these other people talk, DFINITY keeps delivering stuff. They talk about VET keys, they delivered it. They talk about Chainkey Bitcoin, Chainkey Ethereum, they delivered it. They talk about caffeine AI, they delivered it. When Dom's talking about this, I have confidence it's going to get delivered. And when you have things where you can migrate legacy systems and make something way more efficient and secure and verifiable, it's just, it starts to look crazy that you wouldn't use it. And yes, it may take some time, but the more you start having governments using this, people talking about it, all of a sudden you may see some serious adoption spikes.
Too many people must be listening to James Allen. Well, James Allen, I just watched his recent video today and he seems to be missing the bigger picture and still hurt that he didn't get a grant from DFINITY, which I get, they didn't, they gave me $25 000. Beginning of 2024, or was that 2024? And they haven't given me any more since then. And they gave me $25 000 at $12 ICP. So I didn't get that. I sold, I didn't sell hardly any of it. I put, I locked a bunch of it up. So, if I had to do over again, I'd sell it and buy for lower prices and then just accumulate on my own.
That's the thing though. A lot of people are not seeing the bigger picture and the real problems that need to be solved. Lasering in on a problem, a price chart is like a rat that's like stuck in a corner of a house and is completely unaware that there's any other house. And the rat's just in the corner of the house being like, well, there's no food right here. It's like, well, go explore the rest of the house. Realize that there's a kitchen. There's a whole bunch of food in the kitchen. With, also with Motoko and the orthogonal persistence, ICP has a unique language where you are able to have the data be persistent over time.
Most, like I have a friend, oh, Angela, that we did the, we did the roast together. If you guys haven't watched this, this is one of the funniest piece of content I've created in a while. Jerry Banfield gets roasted by Angela Hutchinson. That is, def, watch that. And she has her website on lovable. And I'm like, move your website on the ICP. Like if you actually go viral, your website will get hacked. Somebody will just take your website down because it's built insecurely. And what Dominic's talking about is that it's built insecurely. There's a future where AI does, is able to really reach its potential.
The current system does not allow AI to really reach its potential. But Dominic has just laid out a path for the first time that this world model where AI can perform brilliant analyses for employees. Right now, it's so complex and you have to, it's a pain to get all the data together and then to analyze it and have people take action on it. This will get adopted because it's much, much more efficient. It saves money. It saves time and increases security, increases verifiability. And that's what Dominic's talking about. Agentic organizations will be vastly smarter, faster, more efficient, despite burning large numbers of AI tokens. Organizations that transform themselves will easily out compete rivals.
Like this is why it'll get adopted. And that's what, like for me as a content creator, I'm able to out compete my rivals now using AI. I've got six YouTube channels that I can use to out compete my rivals. I can create content on most days because my workflow is fast. Most YouTubers cannot, the sheer volume of content I crank out, I use AI to make things like the thumbnail. I used to pay graphic designers like 20 bucks per thumbnail. I used to have to make my video ideas days ahead of time and pay graphic designers 20 plus dollars per thumbnail. And AI now generates that for $20 a month almost instantaneously.
That's the same kind of efficiency boost that Dominic is talking about here. The largest business transformation in history has already begun. ICP is the only tech that I see that can support this right now. And yes, we are ahead of time. And this is still very early. But you have governments that are looking at this. Governments stating their intentions. Like the UAE. They're saying that they're going to, to run on agentic AI. And ICP is the only setup that you can run all that securely and have it hack proof, always on, sovereignty from data lock in. This, see, put the two of these together. And Dominic knows which governments they're talking to that are not public yet.
And you already have Pakistan and Switzerland that are public. And then you have the UAE saying within two years. So like, this is a time, this is a timeline we should be thinking. The president of the UAE is talking within two years. Like he's not talking in maybe a decade or two. He's saying within two years. Because a country like the UAE has a lot to gain by moving their infrastructure onto the new way of doing things.
Governments Are Already Moving on This
Dom says, we believe that states will be using the new agentic organization functionality and trials are already underway. So you don't have to think that this is going to take forever. There are states, governments that are moving on this because they have a lot to gain. James Allen invested a thousand ICP. And I think James Allen bought at like 10 or so dollars also. J Babe says the girls were hot. They were. That was a lot of fun. When is the wake up coming? J Babe says. If you look at these timelines, within two years to me is a reasonable time that the wake up is coming.
That is where, now there, this is what, what most people are immediately, looking for answers though. Like you're looking at the wrong data points. The price is going to handle itself. And DFINITY does spend money in here, but the price action is completely illogical and upsetting. But the price action actually makes perfect sense. The price action is designed to keep people from finding ICP. It makes perfect sense what's happening with the price actions. And Dominic is talking about how the details, he's out here answering questions, how cloud engines will provide you, with how many cycles everything consumed. This is set up to win. Hey, what's up?
This is why I keep saying Crypto Market Caps Are a Distraction. Only ICP Is Real when everyone is staring at the chart instead of the technology.
Support us. Nice to see you. Any other questions to wrap up? Vote Jerry Banfield for Senator. Nate says, how long do you think it's going to take Pakistan to build their network? I don't know, but I looked up the, the Pakistan digital authority. And if, if I'm them, I want to move things. This, this is going to be as fast as possible, but still governments can move slow. If you want this timetable from the UAE to be an indication, they're talking within two years, 50%. So this, this could happen. You're looking at years though. But I imagine that for Switzerland and Pakistan being public, there's probably several more governments that are privately talking about this.
Probably some companies that are looking at this too. These and and Lichtenstein also. Thank you. Only in crypto to me, this is, it's, this is why everyone's like, well, isn't there anything better than ICP? No, because nothing else is doing this. Everybody's talking AI agents. But when you look into the details, how are they going to deliver that on centralized tech? That's insecure with having to pay for a security team with having all these things that don't interconnect with each other, that you're going to then try and build stuff in an environment where the data is not verifiable, where it doesn't all work together. Like this is the only solution here.
So you, so now NAF, NAF says, I agree, but you need exposure to the financial revolution.
Why ICP Is the Real Financial Revolution
See, this ICP is the financial revolution because once you get your infrastructure built on ICP, then it also sends payments. Once you've got this model built up, once you're using them, this is where the financial system changes because right now the narratives about like XLP and XLM and the financial, infrastructure are ridiculous because all the rest of everything is still saying the same in order. Once you've got your infrastructure built on ICP, then it makes sense that you've got all your finance directly on ICP as well. So to me, these other coins have nothing on the possible financial infrastructure impact compared to ICP because on ICP, once you get this whole world built up on ICP, then you're going to also, also have built in crypto payments, ICP and any of the stable coins and any of the other like CKBTC, CKE, you can make your own company payment coin if you wanted to, your own meme coins, your own coin.
So the financial future, like there's, XRP and XLM to me have no utility. It is purely like pay to play, pay to talk, pay to look like we're doing something. But especially when you have, if you have ICP that actually you get infrastructure built on ICP, then taking crypto payments is natural. You're already in position. Whereas when you're talking about having, all this stuff built around it, like trying to integrate AI agents on web two, and then trying to plug a blockchain into that is a nightmare. There's so many things that can go wrong and the complexity of it. You need to pay all these people to try and figure everything out. If you're trying to figure out where your own project or business fits into all of this, you can join Jerry Banfield Family and we'll map it out for your situation.
You build it, you update one thing, you got to change the other stuff. That's the financial system will change once the internet gets built on ICP. And I think it's ridiculous to expect that anything significant is going to change in the financial system until the infrastructure it's all built on changes. And I don't see why would invest in that the web two financial model that is assisted by sending transactions on a blockchain when I could invest in this instead. So I'm going to keep these live streams under 30 minutes so I don't ramble. But because I can do that and that way we kind of get one concise point each day and you show up, it's still watchable.
If you miss it, if you miss the chat, you'll still be here for it. Thank you, Bobby. Oh, for the first ever super chat on the channel. Thank you, each of you for watching Jay, babe, Christopher, and you UT Sav Shaw support us JB connect. Oh, it says six YouTube channels. How do you have time to date? Because I work fast because I work, I work efficiently and that's why I'm doing live streams. Now it's faster than even recording a video. And if you want to, I've just got all of my channels set up now so that you can see all my new videos on all of my channels, which is a really cool setup.
This took like two hours today. Nice. We got 72 people watching. Let's go first live stream. So I've got it set up on my channels now so you can see all the playlists. And I even added Jerry, Banfield music back off of the thing. And if you're dating this Jerry Banfield, dating videos, getting single dudes, pissed off. So thank you very much for watching. I'll be going live. I definitely am going to go rant on Jerry Banfield dating today, and we may make it on the YouTube coach and the gaming channel as well. Thank you very much for watching. Really appreciate all of you here.
We're bear Arta, JB connect you to have boss, man, Tom, the magician, much love. Nice to see you. And I'll be live on another channel shortly. Nice. Oh, shit. I forgot to stop the recording. Fuck. Stop here. Burping in this bitch. All right. Well, if you're on X, watching now, you'll get that little bit. You'll get that little bit extra.
