ICP's Caffeine AI just built me an entire website in a single prompt, directly on the blockchain — and it's so much better than the site I was using. I'd never tried vibe coding before. It's secure, sustainable, on-chain, and somehow loads faster than the site I had, which was built entirely for speed. I make a lot of ICP videos that come down to faith and hope; this one is real results I can show you.
The site I was replacing
My old site cost $50 a year and existed for two reasons: load fast and be cheap. It was a bare page — name, schedule-a-call, a list of books nobody bought. I'd been wanting to level it up to look professional, especially since I send people there to book $200 calls or a $1,500 coaching package.
One rambling voice memo, one beautiful site
To generate the prompt, I opened voice memos on my iPhone (Caffeine works on mobile with Internet Identity) and rambled for about 11 minutes — and the transcription was rough enough that "80 pounds overweight" came through as an "80 pound note." From that sloppy first-ever attempt, it produced a complete, professional site: a clear value proposition, "14 years as a creator, 10,000 videos," sections for crypto, courses, dating, health, gaming, and life. It intelligently filled blanks I never specified — it linked my actual Calendly, linked the right YouTube channels and got the handles right just from me rambling the names, added testimonials close to real ones, built a contact form, and placed call-to-action buttons throughout.
Then I tested the speed
My first skepticism was that a one-prompt AI site must be slow and sloppy. Wrong. My old speed-optimized page now scores about 83 on mobile. The Caffeine site hit 98 desktop / 87 mobile, a 93 on Pingdom, a half-megabyte page, and a load time just over half a second — faster than what I was already using. When I pasted Google PageSpeed insights back into Caffeine and asked it to fix mobile, it minified JavaScript and fixed the backend a few minutes later. After years of fighting WordPress and paying developers, this shocked me.
Why this matters
It's hosted on the ICP blockchain, so it's secure and has practically infinite scalability — a traffic spike just burns cycles. I can keep iterating by talking to it (swap a photo, fix a line, link a specific video), cross-reference with ChatGPT, and even export the code. It's $29/month with a custom domain, emails to users, and app insights. To me this proves the DFINITY team's technical competence with a real, working result — and it's the best ICP day I've had in a long time. I'm switching jerrybanfield.com over to it.
