My Dog Healed Herself of a Terminal Disease

My Dog Healed Herself of a Terminal Disease

One of the coolest things I've ever seen in my life is my dog heal herself of a terminal disease simply by laying around, resting, and fasting. I can't believe I haven't told this story before, so I think you'll really enjoy it if you haven't heard it.

We took her to the vet. She was maybe eight years old or so. The vet said she had a terminal disease, and that either we could spend thousands of dollars and they would try to operate on it, though they probably wouldn't be able to do anything about it, or we could just keep her comfortable at home and let her pass. We thought, well, we might as well keep her at home. We'll keep her comfortable, and then she can pass.

This is a disease that humans have too, but I'm not going to be specific about it, because YouTube's terms and conditions don't allow me to say that this particular disease has any so-called scientifically or medically proven cures. Still, I saw firsthand my dog have a terminal disease that the vet said meant we either operate and spend thousands to try to save her, or take her home and watch her die.

So we took her home. She laid around for a couple of weeks. She wouldn't eat. She just laid there and breathed heavy. For weeks she didn't eat. Then all of a sudden, she was ready to eat again. She started having energy. And the disease was gone. My dog literally cured herself of a terminal disease, and I watched it happen.

A free cure for a very profitable disease

This is a disease that people spend huge amounts of money trying to treat, a disease that is very profitable to treat and that people go looking for a cure for. And I firsthand saw a 100% natural cure in my dog, who literally just laid down and got well. I hear about people who struggle with this disease all the time. They feel so horrible about it, and they don't understand it. The only thing my dog did to get a complete, free cure was to lay around and fast for a few weeks.

The basic thing with fasting seems to be that your body will allow this disease to exist in it while you're eating, but if you fast, your body will not allow the disease in it anymore, and your body will proactively cure the disease if you don't eat. Now, I'm not a doctor, and this is not medical advice. This is what I've seen firsthand. I've also read a book from a doctor, a doctor who lived to about a hundred years old. I think her name was Dr. Gladys M. or something like that. She applied this same treatment to the same disease in herself, successfully.

So I feel really grateful and powerful, because there are lots of different fatal, terminal diseases that people struggle with, but for one of them I've firsthand seen a completely free and effective cure. That leaves me feeling powerful, because there are so many people struggling and suffering so much, and I know of a completely free and effective cure. I'm not even afraid of getting this disease myself anymore, because all I'd need to do if I got it is lay around and fast, and my body would take care of it. That leaves me feeling so peaceful.

It does annoy me that YouTube's terms don't allow me to even specify what disease this is, or to be more specific about it. But my hope is that if I tell you what I've seen firsthand, you can easily do your own research on this and figure it out for yourself.

The conflict of interest in treating disease

From there, there's an understanding that the current system we have, treating disease with medicine, is very profitable. That brings up a conflict of interest, because it's profitable to treat disease, and it's profitable not to let you know about completely free cures and instead to say, "Oh, these aren't scientifically proven."

Think about this, though. If you could show with science, which I'm sure someone has probably done before, that there's a completely free cure that would eliminate a massive industry of paid cures, who would pay for that research? And who would then publish that research in their journal? You can see, too, the way the YouTube terms work, you couldn't even talk about it. You couldn't even broadcast it and be clear about it.

So right now, the craziest thing is that I have firsthand seen the things that science is, quote, looking for and researching. I've firsthand seen the totally free, completely effective cure. Now, will this work in every single scenario, with every person? I don't know. To me, there's a lot more that goes on with disease, life, and death than just symptom and cure.

What helps me is that I can't believe I hadn't shared this story before. I hadn't even thought to share it. I hadn't even thought to bring it up and say, "Oh, I saw my dog cure herself of this fatal disease, and it was amazing." It was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen, to go to the vet and have the vet say, "Your dog, we can spend thousands of dollars to operate, or you can go home and watch her die." We didn't even know it was possible for this to happen. Before this, I didn't know, and even afterwards I still didn't understand how it happened, and I didn't even think to look it up. How crazy is that? I saw a miraculous cure and I didn't even think to look it up. I just thought, "Well, okay."

It's been nine years since that happened. Nine years since I had this experience, and I hadn't even thought to share it. I hope this story can help someone today, because in life there are often solutions you may not realize are there.

Contempt prior to investigation

What I noticed is that there's a lot of contempt prior to investigation. I had a friend who died from the same disease, and he was not interested in my opinion. I sent him some stuff about it, and he would not read it. He's dead now. My view on that is that he did not want to live, because if you wanted to live, you would have taken any help you could get. To me, if you really want to live, anybody can help you.

So I really encourage everybody to look for help in unexpected places. Be open, because almost nobody who has health problems thinks to ask me for my opinion, since I'm not a medical doctor. But you know what? I do know how to be healthy. I'm extremely healthy. I had a lady in AA who actually did ask me about a health problem, and what I told her worked. I thought the treatment the doctor was giving her was making her sicker. If that were my body, I would have stopped that treatment immediately and started exploring the reasons why my body manifested this. I gave her some books written by doctors to read. She read those books, she stopped the treatment immediately, and she called me about a year later and said, "Thank you. That worked." I'm so glad I shared that in an AA meeting, and that she shared her thoughts on it too.

Most of the time, most of us expect that regular people don't know anything about health. Our system encourages us to only talk to our doctor about health. In my opinion, that's absolute crap, and again, this is not medical advice. There's all kinds of help from all kinds of people in the world around us. I think it's really important that we don't limit ourselves to only certain people.

Now, yes, can a doctor be effective? Yes. I've been to the doctor. I've had physical checkups before. The doctor told me I was in the very top health out of all the patients they see. So I went to the doctor to have the doctor tell me what I already knew. I knew I was really healthy, and I just wanted to confirm it. I'm not against medical treatment. There are definitely times when medical treatment can be really effective. But I think most of us are way too one-sided in believing that doctors are the only people who can help us. I think that's where we go wrong, by keeping our health issues private.

Address the physical and the mental together

What I noticed is that if I have a health issue, I bring it up to everybody. I had a hemorrhoid a few months ago, and I told everybody about it. Did I want to tell everybody about my hemorrhoid? Absolutely not. I did not want to tell everybody I had this painful sore. I did not want to have that conversation. But I did it, because what I needed was people's collective experience. I needed to hear unexpected things. I needed somebody to surprise me or help me out with their advice.

One person told me that their friend had a hemorrhoid and found taking Epsom salt baths very helpful for it. So I tried that, and it worked. I also read Louise Hay's You Can Heal Your Life. What I found, in my experience, is that most medical things have a corresponding mental issue with them, and if you address the mental issue, the physical thing may go away. So I addressed both. I started relaxing and taking Epsom salt baths, and I also addressed the mental issue of having a resentment against another person who had literally turned into this big pain in my behind in my mind. Between addressing the mental issue of that pain against this person and the physical issue of helping my body relax, doing both of those things, the hemorrhoid was gone.

To me, that's how things can work really well, when you address both the physical and the mental together. That's where you get some powerful solutions. Now, I don't know what my dog did, because my dog didn't have any of the mental side, she was just laying there. But my dog clearly wanted to live. That's the bottom line. My dog did not want to die. My dog wanted to live. And I find that animals have a natural intelligence in the way they approach their health that people have often completely lost.

Trusting my dogs to know what they need

One of my dogs recently had this big open wound on his elbow, and he just licked it all the time. It got infected, and he chewed at it. After seeing what happened earlier, how one of my dogs cured herself of something the vet said was fatal and couldn't help her with, I have come to a different place with all of this. I want to be clear: I am not against vet care. My mother is a vet. I will take my dogs to the vet if I think the vet has exactly what the dog needs.

At the same time, in my experience the dog usually knows what is best for itself. My dog had this awful infection and a scraped elbow, and he chewed it and licked it, and the wound is gone now. He has this bare elbow, but the dog fixed himself. It was awesome to watch him do that. Then the same thing happened on his other elbow, and you know what? He is applying the exact same treatment. And here is what is nice: I am not stressed out about it. I am not scared. I am not afraid of what is going to happen with my dog. I trust my dog to handle my dog's health.

My dogs will make it clear if they want my help too. He and she both let me know. They will communicate one way or another if they would really like to go to the vet. If they go out to the car, that tells me something. In that case I would take them. One of my dogs did eventually just die at home, which I love, compared to taking them in and having them put to sleep at the vet.

Finding a balanced place between two extremes

I am in this balanced place now where I am willing to use the help that is available. I am willing to go to the doctor. I do not think it is ideal to be completely militant about it either. My daughter actually got bit by the same dog that cured herself of the disease, and we took my daughter to the hospital to get stitches to help her face get sewed up. Then we kept the dog separated too, so my dog and my daughter were not around each other anymore until the dog passed.

I think that balance is ideal, because some people in the hippie alternative healthcare world go all the way to one side. At various points I have been there myself, militant, anti-doctor, anti-health-system, anti-vet. I have come to believe that is not a good approach either, because doctors and vets do have things that are helpful to offer sometimes, and you do not want to completely deny that. You do not want to avoid getting an easy treatment when there is an easy fix.

Sometimes there really is a simple solution. I had some yeast on my back that was giving me these spots, and I just wash with Selsun Blue, and that takes care of it. Sometimes you do not want to do it the hard way when there is an easy answer sitting right there. Other times, though, it makes sense to do some deeper work and to look within.

I am really happy to share this story, and I went into a lot of other points around it because I think it is valuable. If you want to follow more of these reflections on health, family, and how I am living day to day, you can find more of it in my Life playlist. I hope you enjoyed this, and let me know what else you would like me to talk about.
