It's September 25th, 2026. I guess it's three days now since I got hacked for $20,000, and I'm grateful that you've all been so supportive and that you've been watching the videos. Yesterday's video was about how I asked my mom if I could move in. Here's what she said: well, she seemed pretty open to it when I talked to her, but then I talked to my brother after that, and he said, "Nah, she don't want you to move in." So I'm like, all right, well, I guess I don't have a backup plan. That's fine, though, because I'm going super hard on my business.
I've had so many valuable lessons today. I had a big breakthrough when it comes to dating, starting from the livestream with Ashley Cummings yesterday where we talked about dating. I messaged the Queen again, and I'll let you know how that went. And I'm playing tennis in a little bit. Wow. So let me start off with the MaxFi team today.
Getting Hacked for $20,000
Before I got hacked, I had 200 million $JERRY that I'd paid $5,000 for, and that turned into being worth over $20,000. I talked about this a couple of days back in my vlog. The hackers socially engineered me. I had my MetaMask account on Google recovery, and they got into my Google account on a Microsoft Teams call. I didn't know how Teams worked, they asked for control, and I stepped away from my computer. So they managed to use my MetaMask account, set it up themselves, and steal 200 million $JERRY from me, which ended up being around 10 ETH or so. Then they sent it out of my wallet.
All of that happened while I was out at the park playing baseball with my son. I came back, and my wallet had $75 in it instead of $20,000. My first thought was, that's impossible. That can't have happened. And then I had to deal with the community.
The eBay Shirt Auctions
Then there were my eBay auctions. The auctions ended yesterday, and last night one person admitted that they had no intention of paying. They said they'd lost a bunch of money on my meme coin, so they couldn't pay. I mean, that's an absolutely obvious lie. They had no feedback on their profile. I'm sure they were going to make something up about why they weren't going to pay no matter what happened. They were going to make some excuse and try to make it my fault, and I'm glad I don't fall for stuff like that. I could just tell. When they bid my shirts up to $10,000, they had no intention of actually buying those shirts. They were going to make up some excuse and try to make it my fault somehow, no matter what happened.
The second-place bidder gave a similar response. So I put the prices down and relisted the eBay listings. They're still a few thousand, but I'm accepting offers now if people want to offer less than that as well. So all that came together yesterday.
The MaxFi Team Gifted Me 20 Million $JERRY
Then today the MaxFi team just gifted me 20 million $JERRY to say, "Look, let's stay in this. Your coin is like the Harry Potter of meme coins now. You had this team of people try to take you out and rug the coin, but the coin is making a comeback. We're still providing liquidity. Let's do this. You got through the hardest part. Your coin has a special story now."
So I'm really excited about the future of $JERRY on Robinhood. This is not financial advice. As soon as I can get it built on jerrybanfield.com, I'm going to take $JERRY for payment, and I'll give an exclusive discount for paying with it and with my JBBJ meme coin.
Sometimes a misfortune that looks horrible in the short term can turn into something amazing. The silver lining, the beautiful part about getting hacked, is seeing how incredibly generous and supportive the MaxFi team has been. They calmed their whole Discord server down when people were going off. The things people were saying were, well, not unbelievable really. It was pretty believable, the things they were saying, but it was the nastiest stuff you could imagine, and everybody was assuming that I rugged my coin.
It's great when the public thinks I rugged my coin and I know that it got stolen. I feel bad for losing it in the first place, and then the public thinks I sold it and rugged it on them. It's like, I wish I did that, because I'd have 20 grand in the bank. But that's not what happened, because if I had done that, I'd buy the coin back and put it back up. I lost that 20 grand, and the MaxFi team sent me 20 million $JERRY, which is worth about $1,600.
I set up a new hardware wallet, and I've got a very nice setup now for my new wallet where what happened before would not be able to happen again. That feels really good.
When Bad Things Happen, You See Who Your Friends Are
Before I circle back to dating: the finances have been amazing today. Thousands of dollars were just given to me today, which is absolutely huge and makes all the difference in the world. What I love is that when bad things happen, you can really see who's there for you. What I've noticed is that when I've been making the most money and having the most fame and success, so many people want things and are willing to just throw money at me, but they always want stuff. The better you do externally, the more people want things from you.
Then you get demonetized, you get banned, you get hacked. What else has happened to me? The algorithm leaves you behind. The coin you've been shilling for a year and a half rugs, with a team that literally rugs and sells everything. People stop watching. Your wife divorces you. All of that stuff has happened to me, and it's been great, because I can see who my true friends are. I can see what really matters. It's like, oh, I need really good guy friends, and I need women as friends too, because when my wife leaves me, I need people to fill that space.
The MaxFi team has just shown up in an incredible way, sending me this money, supporting me, calming the community, controlling the entire narrative, and believing me. It's been amazing. I think misfortunes in our lives can actually be a great opportunity to see who matters and what's really important.
Why Am I Only Making a Few Thousand Dollars a Month?
This also showed me that I need to be making some serious money too. I should have a business system where it doesn't matter if I lose $20,000. I've been a content creator since 2011, full time since 2012. Why the hell am I only making a few thousand dollars a month? Some of the people I've mentored are making tens and even hundreds of thousands of dollars a month. These are people I coached, people I showed how to do what I was doing, and I've taught them how to do it. They've gone on and done millions and millions in sales themselves, some of them tens of millions, and they're speaking on stage. It's like, why the hell am I sitting here? I need something better.
So today I started using AI to build jerrybanfield.com into an everything social network and e-commerce platform. No more sending people to eBay, Skool, Cameo, and Zoom calls with Acuity. No more sending people to Amazon for books, or to other places like Udemy, which I used in the past for courses. Everything will be there: all my games, all my comedy, all my courses, everything you'll want from me, my shirts, signed books, whatever you want to buy. All of it will be on jerrybanfield.com.
Right now the AI, Claude Fable on the $250 a month plan, is building everything out, and it estimates it's going to take a couple of weeks to build all this between building it and testing it. I'm going to build it all out, and every video, all the time, everywhere, will always send people to jerrybanfield.com. My eventual dream, or hope, is that someday I may be able to just create on jerrybanfield.com and not even post anywhere else. In the meantime, I'll be continuing to build it. Right now it's kind of basic. It doesn't have a lot of the stuff it should have, but I'm going to build it up to where we can have a complete community, somewhere like Skool, but where there's also comedy, games, and everything else.
That, to me, is the business idea I need so that I don't have to move out of the house I'm in now and bum on somebody else's couch or spare bedroom. But I'm willing to do that if needed.
My Dating Breakthrough with Ashley Cummings
All right, so let's transition to dating, because I had a big dating breakthrough yesterday with Ashley Cummings. We did a two-hour livestream on the Jerry Banfield Dating channel, and I highly encourage you to check out that two-hour livestream with Ashley Cummings. We talked dating, and by the end of it I had a big breakthrough. I realized that my view was looking at women like, "I'm looking for my next wife. I need to have more kids. I need a woman." I was thinking that I don't even have time to be friends with women. I didn't even want women as friends. I just wanted a woman I'd have romance with, date, and turn into a wife.
Ashley said that when she started dating the men in her life, including her husband, she started by being friends with them. She said she had no thought of anything more than friendship with either of these guys for quite a while, months and months, maybe even years with her husband. Then they had such a strong friendship that it became more than that. I thought, yes, that sounds natural. How I've been doing it has felt forced and pressured, like we need to just jump right into the relationship, which is not a good idea unless you want to get stuck.
Oh nice, we just got a Stripe notification. What happened? Oh nice, somebody just paid $25 for something on jerrybanfield.com. Awesome. That's what I want to build in the future. I want hundreds of dollars a day to come in straight through jerrybanfield.com, with all the payment options: PayPal, Stripe, Apple Pay, and crypto, including my $JERRY meme coin on Robinhood and my JBBJ meme coin on ICP. I can have all kinds of crypto payments I can accept. So I'm really happy to see that payment. It looks like somebody just dropped a tip. I'm going to build it all up so you'll be able to see the leaderboard, and I'm so excited for that.
Friendship with the Queen
So back to dating with Ashley. By the end of the livestream, I was thinking, man, I need to message the Queen again. She said she just wanted to be friends with me and she'd be open to being friends with me, but I said no. I didn't want to be friends. I just wanted romance. I just wanted dating. Being in the friend zone, in my mind, was labeled as failure, as rejection.
I know so many men, and women, who are just being intimate right away, on the first date or the first few dates. Guys meeting women online, sleeping with them on the first date, and a bunch of times after that. And then I end up feeling kind of like a loser, because I've gone out with twenty-some women this year and not slept with anyone once. At the same time, I've also had opportunities, women I could have been intimate with, that I said no to after three dates. I was like, you're too much of a mess. I don't even want to be your friend. You're a disaster. I was also thinking in terms of, if this woman can't be my wife, there's no need to hang out with her.
After I talked with Ashley, I went to my Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, and I shared there and talked about getting hacked. There's a guy there who got really mad at me at another meeting, and this guy's been very friendly with me over the years.
But he was pretty cold last night. I'm like, damn, bro, why are you still upset with me? Or maybe he wasn't. Maybe something else was going on.
The Voice Memo to the Queen
Then I went out to the car and recorded a five-minute voice memo to the Queen. Well, no, it was three minutes and 45 seconds exactly. I'm like, we've got to keep this thing shorter. And then I spiraled and felt bad after that, which is confusing. If you check out the dating stream on the Jerry Banfield Dating channel, you can see at the end of the livestream with Ashley that I'm feeling very emotional. I'm holding back tears. I'm thinking I would have loved to just be friends with the Queen. I enjoyed hanging out with her, and I didn't know what to do about her. So I sent her a voice memo.
So far it's 20 hours later, and I haven't heard anything back from her. She didn't respond at all to my voice memo. It doesn't even look like she's listened to it yet, like she hasn't bothered to take the time to listen to it. And the message I sent before, on September 8th, which is almost three weeks ago now, she didn't respond to that either, even though we did see each other in person and talked for an hour.
So I kind of spiraled after that. I'm like, come on, what am I doing wrong? I'm reaching out. Why does this feel bad? I don't understand.
Chasing Versus Being Chosen
I've been watching these videos from guys talking about cold approaching women. I tried a little bit of that, and I did get a phone number, but then I'm stuck chasing the woman. Compare that with Ashley Cummings, who I did the dating stream with. She submitted my contact form, which I've since switched to just "email me on jerrybanfield.com" to cut the contact form out of the middle, so I can just respond to emails. She emailed me and gave me her phone number, and then I messaged her. She has consistently reached out to me most of the time and sent me as many messages as I've sent her, or more. She's consistently asked me to do stuff like livestreaming, and to talk on the phone, and that's felt right. That feels good. If a woman wants me, I'm here. If you want me, I'm here.
And yet when I go after the Queen and send a voice memo, I feel like I don't respect myself after that. I'm like, ew, you sounded so sad and pathetic. Of course she's not going to be interested. And then she's probably going to chase some guy who's a total jerk, who pays as little attention to her as possible, who's just trying to extract whatever he wants out of her and then ghost her as soon as he's done. That's probably why she's not even interested in dating herself. From what she's told me, that's the experience she has: she picks these guys, and they don't treat her very well, or even if they do, she runs away from them.
It's like, okay, what am I doing wrong, and what is the way to do things? Somehow I just felt like crap this morning. I'm like, of course she's not going to message back. Does she have a heart at all? Well, yes, she does. But all right, I've got to go into what comes next for this to make sense.
Evan G the Grateful: "Why Cold Approaching Sucks"
I took the kids to school, and I was feeling sad, and I found this guy's video on YouTube. He hadn't even posted a video recently. I've been trying to find videos about how much cold approach sucks, because all these guys who are coaching cold approach are of course going to tell you that cold approach is awesome, because they want guys to dump a bunch of money into paying them for coaching. But this guy, his name is Evan G the Grateful, posted a video called "Why Cold Approaching Sucks." I'm like, all right, let me watch that. So I watched that, and then I watched his next video after that, which is called "Why Chasing Women Keeps You Weak."
That video, plus the conversation with Ashley, kind of hit some special spot in my brain, and I put it all together. I'm like, whoa, I get it. It makes sense that I have a biological drive to reproduce. I enjoy physical intimacy, so it makes sense that I'd want that. I enjoy the company of some women, and I enjoy the physical closeness, the touch, the hugs, the companionship, and having a partner. I do enjoy that.
Looking Back at My Divorce
But I also decided to get divorced last year. I was the one who suggested it. Later I was making amends and willing to do anything to keep the marriage, and my wife at the time said no, but I did suggest it, and I knew in 2024 that I wanted to get divorced. Most everybody said, "Don't get divorced. You'll never get a wife as hot as her again. You've got great kids. Parent your kids." But I wasn't happy. That relationship was holding me back from creating my best content, which is one reason I deleted everything. I felt like my content creation had become pointless, that I couldn't even do my best work.
Now, being single, I've created some of the best content I've made in years, which is why I've gotten so many new followers, and podcasters and others have reacted to me. My content is hitting emotional threads. With what I'm doing, I'm achieving my purpose here. I felt like I was achieving my purpose raising my kids, and I still do that. I've got my kids six nights in a row before I go to Dallas for VidSummit next week. Raising my kids is part of my life.
I Am the Prize
But I had this realization. I'm like, I don't need a woman. In fact, I might be much better off without a woman. In fact, I am the prize, because I can father healthy, beautiful, intelligent children. I've already proven that twice. In my view, that's valuable these days, when so many men have had vasectomies or are not the kind of guys you'd want to father your child. I am here living my purpose. I can make huge amounts of money. I can be famous online. I'm already getting out there quite a bit with my videos.
When I go all in on my business system, jerrybanfield.com is going to start printing money once I get it all built up and there are hundreds and hundreds of products and everything's all in one spot. You buy something, you enjoy it, so you buy something else, and then you share it with a friend. Maybe I'll get an affiliate program built out too, so if somebody signs up through you, you can automatically get a portion of the sales.
I'm perfectly able to take care of my own needs, and I'm very effective at it. I don't need a woman for that. In fact, I remember some of the times when I was married thinking, why do I want this? Why do I make such a big deal out of this? Why do I care so much about this? This isn't even that good. And yet we were still being intimate every other day. Now, yes, intimacy is awesome, but I don't need it.
If it came down to it, would I rather find an amazing woman to date, or would I rather not have to move out of this house? At this point, I'd rather stay in this house, because my kids don't want to move out of this house. I mean, if I found a woman who had a great house, I could move in with her, but at this point my purpose and making money are much more important to me than finding a woman to date.
I am the prize. I am an extremely healthy, good father of two already. One beautiful, intelligent, healthy, loving, stable woman chose me and had a couple of kids with me already, so I've already got proof that a woman wanted this, and if anything, my offer is better now than it was for her. I've got proof of what I can do. I've got proof that I am an anomaly. I am a man who's not like the majority of men, a man who thinks differently, who commands attention with just his voice. I am the prize.
I see it's time for me to stop chasing women, to stop even wanting women. I don't need a wife. In fact, for me, a wife is probably more of a liability than an asset right now. If a woman wants me, she needs to come to me and pursue me until she gets me, and I should be skeptical of any woman. Like, why do you want me?
Keeping Women in the Friend Zone Myself
I should be keeping women in the friend zone myself, because of how I am. If I don't like a woman that much and I get intimate with her, I can't stand to see her anymore after that. But if I get intimate with a woman I really like, she's got me, and I'm not thinking as logically and rationally anymore. And I'm extremely loyal. I had a few other beautiful women interested in me while I was with my wife, women I might have been able to be unfaithful with, and I stayed faithful. I went to different yoga classes. I changed up my AA meetings. I did what I needed to do to not cheat. I'm loyal. Even when my ex wanted to get a divorce, I was still willing to get back with her and put everything aside.
So I need to be careful. In my situation, a woman probably has more potential to ruin my life than to make it better, and I don't need to be paying any attention to dating. If anything, I will do my work better being single. At the same time, I am very open if an amazing woman comes along who I'm excited about, where we can be friends, just do stuff, and have a good time. If she wants to choose me, then I'll be open to that.
But messaging the Queen was totally the wrong move. If she's not responding to me, she's not responding to me. If I get rejected once, that's one thing, but I should not be putting myself in a position to get rejected twice. If a woman doesn't want me badly enough to send that first text message, to double-text me, to stay very interested in me, to place me as her top priority, then I don't want her. I'm not going to be chasing women anymore. I'm not going to do speed dating. I'm not going to do anything to try to date anymore. I'm going to grind out videos.
Let Women Reach Out First
I'm going to have fun, and if I meet a woman I can play tennis with, great. There's a woman who's married to another woman, and we play tennis when she hits me up. I don't message her to play tennis anymore. When I first met her, I didn't know she was married to another woman, and I was kind of chasing her. After I found out she's married and nothing is going to happen romantically, I stopped messaging her. Now she reaches out when she wants to play with me, and if I've got time, I'll play with her. That's how it should be.
By contrast, I met another woman playing tennis, and I was always reaching out to her, like, "Hey, can you play tennis?" Then she'd cancel, or it'd rain, and then she'd be weird. No. I'm the prize. I will worship a woman. I will give everything I've got to a woman, but you're going to have to come get it.
I'm putting videos out that go out worldwide. There are women all over the world who could decide they want to play tennis, and my inbox is open on jerrybanfield.com/date. I make it clear what I've got to offer, and I'm not chasing. I'm not picking up. I'm not pursuing. I'm not cold approaching. I'm not warm approaching. And I'm also withdrawing emotionally. If a woman's not texting me, I don't care why. If she's texting me, calling me, and wanting to do stuff with me, and I'm available, I will hang out if I'm interested. If she's fun to hang out with, regardless of any romantic potential, then I'm down.
This has been an awesome realization: what Ashley said, plus my experience messaging the Queen, plus watching these videos. It's like, dude, I've had my mind kind of closed, like, "Oh, red pill, I should be out there hunting." And what I've come to believe is no, guys who aren't worth catching have to hunt.
An Unusual Offer for a Man
I'm not saying everybody should do what I do, but I am an unusual offer for a man. I'm not saying I'm one of the top 10 percent of men, but if you want a man who's healthy, good looking, intelligent both emotionally and intellectually, a man who can speak, who is here doing his purpose, who has huge income-earning potential, and who gets attention worldwide, how many men are even close to that? I realize that's not every woman's type. Many women would love to just have some doctor or lawyer or corporate drone. But for the women who don't want a corporate drone, who appreciate a guy who's an entrepreneur, who appreciate a guy living his purpose, I believe I am extremely special.
It's been great talking with Ashley and just looking at Ashley as a friend. I don't know if she has any romantic interest or not, but it doesn't matter. If she has romantic interest, she can express it. It's not up to me to even go there or to figure that out. I've enjoyed collaborating with her and I've enjoyed the discussions we've had, and that makes it so simple. From now on, it's totally up to the women to do everything to have a relationship with me, and I'm not going to do anything except respond to the offers I get.
The Yoga Fist Bump
There was a woman in yoga a few months ago, right before I met the Queen. This woman started a conversation with me. She expressed her interest in me first, and from now on, when I go to yoga classes, that's how I'm going to operate. This woman turned to me. I had not made eye contact or said anything. I put my yoga mat down next to her and did my practice. I mean, I was doing stuff energetically, but I didn't say anything to her or make eye contact. I definitely didn't do anything. She turned to me, gave me a fist bump, and started asking me questions. She warm approached me.
Maybe I could have asked for a phone number there, but if she's not interested enough to ask for a phone number, I don't need to go there. I'm not trying to worry about that. I want a woman who's so interested that she'll approach me, she'll ask for my phone number, she'll text me, she'll ask me on a date. And then I can plan, I can do whatever. But look, I've got my stuff together. I've got my health together. Yes, I'm working on my money, and I'm honest and transparent about it.
It just feels like a big relief to approach dating with the thought that I need to be the best version of myself. That's what I should obsess about: being the best version of me, giving the most I can to the world, and accomplishing my purpose as much as I can. In my experience, women are then just going to approach me and follow me around, because in this day and age that seems to be what's happening.
Some of my dating videos are going to say, "Look, women, you need to approach the men you want," because some women are still sitting back thinking that guys should approach them, guys should ask for their numbers, guys should hit on them. No. I'm done hitting on women. I'm done approaching.
Meeting the Queen
I made a video saying this before, and then I ran into the Queen. That was a powerful experience, but even that was not the right way. I just walked up to her and talked to her in the context of work. I was like, "Oh hey, you're a content creator," and she responded enthusiastically, and the discussion naturally evolved into dating. I didn't have to ask if she was single or if she had a boyfriend. It just naturally evolved into dating, and I was like, oh my god, I'm done. She went there. She responded with a lot of enthusiasm to me, and I opened up and got way too excited about her. It's very clear now that there are big areas where her mindset and my mindset clash completely.
So I feel really good today with the mindset of not chasing women. I'm going to just do my thing, be a leader, share, help people in the world make money, and raise the kids I've got. I know there are plenty of women in this world for whom I am the best guy they're going to get, a guy they'd be really happy with and have an amazing life with. There's a number of women I fit that description for. It's going to be a smaller group compared to, say, the women who'd be interested in a doctor or lawyer, but I believe there are probably hundreds of thousands of women worldwide who would be extremely happy being with me and very happy to have the kids I'm going to have with them. The intimacy we'd share, the way I'd adore her and make her feel about herself, how she'd feel with me, the help I'd provide, the team we could make. And look, it's up to one of those women to find me and chase me down. I'm not looking for any of them anymore.
I'm here, and I make it easy to reach out. But there was one woman who did reach out, and I was there, and then she stopped responding. I'm not following up. It doesn't matter why she didn't respond. I don't care. If a woman is not interested enough to constantly make that effort, I don't care what's going on. I'm not checking. I am here. I am the prize. And yes, women are the prize too, but in this environment, in my experience, the women have to take the lead on making something happen. At least that's what I see women doing with the guys they really want. I'd rather be single than deal with a woman who doesn't really want me. That means I'm not going on dating apps. I've got enough attention. I don't need dating apps.
Grateful for This Week
So this has been a big breakthrough I think I've been needing to have with dating, and I'm excited to see how my dating videos go with this in mind. I'm extremely grateful to the MaxFi team for helping me and supporting me so much with the 20 million $JERRY. I'm really excited about the future of $JERRY and JBBJ, especially my meme coins. This is not financial advice. I'm going to be doing a lot of videos about MaxFi on my Jerry Banfield Money channel.
I'm so grateful for this learning, and I hope that communicating while I'm learning will be helpful for you, which is a big part of why I keep sharing my Daily Vlogs playlist. If you're a woman looking for a man, I hope you realize that most of the women I'm talking to who are with guys now made the approach. They made the effort. They chased the guy. And if you're a guy, I think you probably just need to be the best man you can be, and that doesn't have to be just about money or looks. Just showing up and being a guy who's on purpose, living a life he's proud of, is going to be attractive, and in my experience, that's what triggers women to want to chase.
I'm so excited to see what my business turns into. What an amazing week I've had. Some people would have been destroyed by the week I've had, and not only am I not destroyed, I feel like I did some extremely valuable learning this week. I appreciate you being a part of that, and I would love to see you go to jerrybanfield.com every day and see how it evolves.
