Skyren Presale Scam, Airdrop Fraud, and Why I Think It's $0

Skyren Presale Scam, Airdrop Fraud, and Why I Think It's $0

Why Skyren Looks Like a Fraud Scam Coin to Me

Skyren looks like an absolute fraud scam coin to me, and I believe almost everyone who buys it is going to get ripped off and watch it go to zero, just like with nearly every other altcoin. You are going to love seeing why, because this is one of the most hyped-up garbage coins trending on YouTube today. I took about 10 minutes to look at it, and in my opinion it obviously sucks. So I am going to explain why I think it obviously sucks, so you do not get suckered into it and I hope you do not lose your money on it.

The first thing I do is go to the website. The videos promoting this are, in my view, just garbage. "The world's first airdrop collection DAO." What kind of nonsense is that? What does that even mean? What is it actually doing? The pitch is that you buy Skyren tokens on Polygon. This is a token on Polygon, and I have already said that, in my opinion, Polygon itself is going to zero almost certainly. To me it is a dead chain. They probably just got paid to put the token on there. This looks like a junk project to me. The token itself cannot have ownership by code or by law, and the staking, in my experience, makes a token worthless and totally speculative. I believe they are just ripping you off.

They talk about receiving crypto airdrops and liquid token rewards. Who cares if you are getting token rewards on a coin I think is worthless? They are hyping up this pre-sale, claiming it is going to launch at 15 cents. What kind of ignorant sucker is going to buy this at 15 cents? I hope nobody. Because I looked through the website, I watched the hype videos, and I do not see one good reason. I would guess all of those guys got paid to make those videos. I am not getting paid to make this. It costs me valuable time and money to try to give you a message that is the opposite of those garbage videos.

Eleven Years in Crypto Tells Me to Walk Away

Here is where I am coming from: I have been in crypto 11 years. I have researched and investigated thousands of altcoins, and in my experience almost everybody is lying to you and ripping you off. Then you get this. Just read it for yourself. "Powered by DeepSeek." They talk about claiming airdrops and handing them to you, but whatever they use to claim airdrops cannot be entirely on chain. So there is no way to guarantee you actually get a good percentage of the airdrops they claim. And how are they going to claim these, with bots? To me this is so scammy, and there is no transparency.

Who is the team behind this? If you look at the Q&A, there are no people, at least on the official website, putting their face behind this project. To me that is absolutely not trustworthy at all. You cannot believe this. "Our system continuously scans various blockchains for new airdrop opportunities and then it participates on behalf of all the token holders." Maybe if something like this was built on ICP there would be a chance for it, but not on Polygon. Seriously, you are literally giving them money and, more than likely, they are never going to do anything for you.

"What makes it unique? Automating the discovery and participation of airdrops." In my experience, airdrops suck and are usually wrecked by bots, and they are a way to trick ignorant people into wasting their time to get a useless token. Was that too harsh? Can you not handle it when I give it to you straight? Your life is valuable and I want you to be empowered. I do not want you sucked into this trap.

I Run Real Giveaways, So I Know What Fake Looks Like

"Eliminating the need for users to qualify for individual airdrops." I do real giveaways. I give away 10 ICP in my giveaways channel and open chat, so I know what it looks like when somebody does real giveaways. You have to be verified that you are human to claim them. I gave a thousand people some ICP today. I do real airdrops. And then there is this project talking about claiming airdrops for you. So I would not trust this one bit.

It says Skyren is a native token, but I do not see why holding it qualifies you to get a share of all the airdrop rewards collected by the DAO. Best case scenario, in my view, they use a bunch of bots to cheat a bunch of other airdrops, and they do not even have to give you anything if they do. And if you do buy a token and they do use bots to cheat other airdrops, then maybe they will put a little bit of it back in your pocket. Does that sound like something you would like to invest in that is going to make the world a better place?

The tokens are available on QuickSwap. Are you still using QuickSwap with your MetaMask? Have you gotten ripped off and had your wallet drained on that lately? "How are the airdrop rewards distributed? Automatically based on their proportional holdings." Seriously, are you not thinking this all the way through? They are just going to magically, and you have no idea how they do it, go collect all these airdrops all over the place and put free money in your wallet. I can see why nobody would want to put their face on this project.

"How does it ensure fair distribution? Our smart contract system ensures the rewards are distributed proportionally based on holdings." Isn't that great. I am sure I can trust that their process, which will be done off chain on their own servers, will be totally fair and transparent. "How does it protect users?" Oh my God, they have smart contract audits. Wow, that is so great. This is so bad. Then you look at "join the airdrop, get started creating an account," and hopefully you will not get drained. This looks scammy to me.

The Tokenomics and the Opportunity Cost

They are just giving out a bunch of these tokens and offering a 76% APY to pre-stake. This is an opportunity cost. You could be investing elsewhere, and instead you are wasting your time on this. I am probably wasting my time reviewing this stupid coin, but I try to figure out what I can do to help the most people avoid getting ripped off, and this seems to be one of the biggest things people are getting ripped off on today. You are looking at this like it is a guaranteed 5X.

"Are all the tokens in the pre-sale going to unlock immediately?" Because I have done some pre-sales and found out the hard way: no, you do not get those right away. And then there is bridging. You are just going to bridge to Polygon. I do not trust this at all. Look at the website. They have made a decent website, and believe it or not, a lot of these projects cannot even manage that. But you are signing up and giving them your email address.

That 76% APY, how sustainable is that? If you look at the tokenomics, you have got 75% going toward a pre-stake. You do still have 12% going to staking and these other buckets. But even if they are selling these for a few cents right now, it looks like they are trying to turn this into a market cap of at least the tens of millions of dollars, if not much more. And I see absolutely nothing valuable here. I do not see one valuable thing.

Their Dead Social Reach Tells the Story

If you go look at their socials, they cannot even be bothered to cheat. That is a good thing, in a way, but they are not even cheating their social media. Maybe they padded the followers a little, but look how dead their reach is for something people are hyping up so much. 200 impressions on a post. Look at my account with about the same number of followers. I just put up a music video, 300 on that one. Six hours ago, a thousand on a war zone video. I put a picture up of my dogs, a thousand. Then I did a go-to-zero video and I get 11,000. Come on.

They are sharing something about XRP finding support, trying to ride someone else's coattails. This is so bad. They are sharing some guy's video: "Join the Skyren DAO. Revolutionary. Pre-sell this." How many altcoins have you looked at? This is not a hidden gem. In my opinion this is an in-your-face, blatant fraud, and I hope you do not get ripped off by it, because I am tired of my neighbors, my friends, my brothers and sisters getting cheated and lied to and stolen from. So it is up to me. I am sharing the message here. I will put this out for free and hope it helps somebody.

What I Actually Do and Where I Stand

I am a full-time YouTuber and Twitch streamer. You can talk with me on Zoom if you want to go over your whole portfolio. I record these videos live on Twitch, and you can ask me to review any altcoin in my open chat, which is hosted fully on ICP on the blockchain. ICP is the only altcoin I actually like out of the thousands I have looked at, along with a few tokens on ICP. I post all my videos on X.

I just made a brand new crypto reviews channel after I deleted the last one, because for a while I wanted to be a good boy and not go trash projects, and just get paid to talk about ICP. But I got tired of being a good boy. I keep telling myself I want to be a good boy and just do hype and not be nasty, but you know what? I like getting nasty. This is nasty. If you want to see the projects I actually like and dig deeper into how I think about all of this, I keep that work together in my Money playlist. I have a main crypto channel that pumps ICP if you want to see what I do believe in.
