Diamante is another crypto coin that, in my opinion, is going to zero. If you are searching for it or trying to learn about it, I can summarize my view in one breath: this is an absolute waste of time, one of the worst cheating cryptocurrencies I have seen. I am going to explain that here with you, because I am tired of watching people get ripped off by frauds and liars. In my experience, somebody involved with the Diamante project is massively defrauding and massively lying. And this is a project Altcoin Daily is promoting.
Let me walk you through what happened. I did a video about Diamante before, saying it is clearly not the greatest crypto blockchain launch. Then somebody involved with Diamante came through and pushed thousands of bots onto my channel. These bots generally arrive externally, through something like WhatsApp. They hardly watch any time on the video at all. They come through and leave a whole bunch of dislikes, even though my channel averages 90% likes, even on my negative, critical videos. On this one, the bots just absolutely flooded in.
So I ask you: would you want to invest in a project that is that blatantly dishonest, one that cannot handle a critical video without employing an army of bots to come through and try to sabotage it? And remember, this is a crypto that already has a $100 million fully diluted valuation, even though it just launched. This is a crypto with 587,000 followers. That is as many as DFINITY has, the team behind what I believe is the best technology in all of crypto. It is more than 58 times as many followers as I have. And to me this is blatant cheating with bots.
The crypto cheating playbook
This follows the crypto cheating playbook to a T. You pay influencers who do not care too much about the quality of the projects they promote. You give them money. You use bots to make people think your project has real traction. And you can start to see through the fraud if you do even a little bit of research.
Look at this recent post: "Due to the overwhelming demand and success of the Diamante chain launch, we've received hundreds of thousands of users on our chain." Probably 99% of them are bots, if anything else I am seeing is any indication. The post continues: "As a result, we had to implement temporary restrictions to maintain security." This is horrible. And an announcement that big only has 46,000 views, which to me is even clearer evidence that you are just cheating with bots. I have posts that get that many views on 10,000 followers. My posts on average get something like 30 to 40% reach compared to how many followers I have. This one is getting less than 10% reach, which to me is blatant cheating.
They say, "We're building for the long term." I do not believe it. When you are using bots, that is not a long-term approach. When you are lying and cheating and stealing, that is not a long-term approach. That is short-term, quick money: make as much as I can as fast as I can, and when everybody finds out, we will just exit, it is fine. That is what I read in this.
Nothing next-generation here
You also have to have a bridge to reality. This is a brand-new launch. Meanwhile you have things like Internet Computer that have been out three and a half years and are so advanced they make this look absolutely irrelevant, like copied, useless technology. Is there any transparency on the team? Not on the website. One or two guys did put their faces on Altcoin Daily's video, and I imagine they are probably using bots to push those videos as well.
When you actually look at the website, I do not see anything impressive. "An ecosystem for a true digital economy." When you go to the ecosystem, they built some kind of payments app. Is that really what we need today, when we already have PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, Coinbase, and all these other payments apps? Wow, you built a payment app. That is so amazing. You are really changing the world.
They call this a next-gen hybrid blockchain ecosystem. In my view that is a lie. It is not next gen. Compare this to Internet Computer Protocol and this looks like a horse while Internet Computer is a UFO. This is not next generation. This will only appeal to someone who is totally ignorant and has not done their research. And if that is you, and it hurts your feelings, then you cannot handle the truth.
They have an airdrop. In my experience airdrops tend to be one of the scummiest things in crypto, where people get ripped off. You look down the page, and there is no team listed anywhere. And look, they have even managed to put the infinity symbol in there. When you have people copying you, that is often a sign of a fake, a mimic, a fraud. You have Internet Computer Protocol, what I consider the best technology in crypto, and then you have Diamante using the infinity symbol to rip people off.
Look at the blockchain itself
Then you open the Diamante Explorer to see what is actually happening on the blockchain. Operation count: one. One. Here is what is funny: I forgot to open this beforehand, because I could not even find the Explorer since it was not linked very well. And what I found just supports exactly what I was going to say. I did not even know it looked like this. It is a ghost chain, with one, empty blocks. So what are they talking about with hundreds of thousands of users on their chain? You have empty blocks right now. There is nothing happening on this. Average transaction time on this "next generation" chain is 5.9 seconds. Let us round up and call it six.
Diamante as a word is meant to suggest something sparkling and valuable. Diamante, come on. Now compare the fastest blockchains by transactions per second. ICP is number one. Look at the block time on ICP: half a second. Finality: zero seconds. It is crushing even Solana. Diamante would not even appear on this list. Go back to what I said: it is fraudulent for them to claim this is a next-gen blockchain. Their next-gen hybrid blockchain is terrible compared to ICP. It is a ghost chain.
You cannot handle the truth: this is more crypto mafia fraud. This is an absolute garbage coin. All they have done is pay people to promote it and use bots to cheat and lie and steal from people. This is disgusting. And this is exactly why they do not want a video like mine coming out. They do not want a video out there telling you the truth, that this is fraudulent, that this is a dead coin, that it is going nowhere. In my view the only reason it was created in the first place was to rip you off, to cheat you, to steal from you. I do not see that they had any goal to add real, meaningful value to the world. It looks to me like, "Let's create something with the least amount of work possible so we can steal the most amount of money from people." That is why I say this is going to zero.
Why I make these videos anyway
It sucks being the person who creates these videos. If I were saying this coin was going to 100x, they would be pushing my videos with bots. Altcoin Daily might even have me on to pump this coin. But when I am out here saying it sucks, I get attacked for it. You know what, though? I care about you. I am tired of seeing my neighbors, my friends, my community, and my fellow humans get lied to, cheated, and stolen from by crap like this. So I am willing to take the heat. I am willing to put myself out there, to make less money, to get hated on, and to get attacked by bots, so that I can help a few of you become a little less ignorant and maybe not have your money stolen.
In my experience you cannot get this kind of fundamentals with any other technology in crypto besides ICP. I will get on a call with you and go through your entire portfolio and tell you why every coin in it has problems, specifically. I freestyle rap on Twitch and make dance music. And if you want to ask me to review more altcoins, you can do that, totally for free, totally on the blockchain, without buying anything, in my free chat. That is actually how I got onto a coin like this. My community came to me and said, "Jerry, this blockchain is using the infinity symbol, it looks next generation, it is hybrid, it looks awesome, and Altcoin Daily is promoting it. What do you think?" I took 10 minutes to take it apart, because I am empathic. I can read people's lies easily. I can tell whether you are telling me the truth or lying to me. That skill worked well when I was a police officer, and it works well in crypto. If you want to dig into more of how I think about all of this, you can explore my Money playlist.
