Why I Refuse to Pick a Team
I pay $400 a month right now for both Claude Max and ChatGPT Pro, and I'm saying this after watching some of these videos where people are like, "Oh, Claude Fable sucks compared to the new ChatGPT," or vice versa. They highlight and contrast the two of them like it's some football game where you need to pick a team to win and bet on it. I use both of these at once because they're very skilled at different tasks.
I use Claude Max, and right now my Claude in the console is going through and writing a video game. I told it to make a game, and it's doing it. Meanwhile, I use ChatGPT Pro to research all the different games and all the different things that would need to be in the game, because Fable seems to use a lot more resources to do the exact same thing. So I find what's easy for each of these.
Along with Claude and ChatGPT, I also have Gemini Pro, because I can just dump a video transcript into Gemini Pro easily. It's best with the YouTube terms and conditions, and it will instantly tell me, "Hey, these are the potential community guidelines issues with your video." Most of the time there are none, but occasionally it's like, "You should probably refilm that," and I'm like, okay.
Two Heavy AI Tasks Running at the Same Time
Meanwhile, with all these AIs, I'm using them to do incredible things that would take so much longer if I tried to just use one at a time. This task on Claude Fable to make a game has been running for an hour and a half straight. And on a $200 a month subscription, what's amazing is my usage is only 12% for the current session, and with everything I did on Fable over the last few days, I'm still only at 22%.
What I do with Claude is use it for my endeavors — all of my websites, and I have a bunch of different websites. My main one is jerrybanfield.com, which was made completely with Claude and is hosted totally on Internet Computer Protocol. I have a custom model in ChatGPT that is trained on millions of tokens of my words, my books, and all of that. I used ChatGPT Pro to go through my entire custom ChatGPT model and pull all the information together to write a gigantic, long-format landing page, all to reach people with one single purpose: if you want to work on things like AI, if you're struggling with AI, if you're frustrated that you don't feel like you understand it and aren't making the most of it. I generate all my images with ChatGPT too. Running both at once allows me to do one heavy, intensive research task on each of them at the same time, because some of this stuff just takes hours and hours a day. I can write an entire landing page in Claude and fix my website up separately while ChatGPT does the heavy lifting.
And look at what ChatGPT just did while Claude was working. I've got a new workflow — I thought, why don't I just look through all the top 100 cryptos, find the crappiest ones, and try cranking out a video about the crappiest cryptos? So for around $500 a month total — $400 of that on Claude and ChatGPT combined — I'm doing two intensive AI tasks at the same time.
Claude is also running on a powerful gaming PC I just bought from iBuyPower, which is listed if you search "Jerry Banfield equipment" for my studio setup. My processor is actually running at 40-some percent in the background, and my GPU is running at 40-some percent, because Claude is testing a game on the computer while I'm filming. And ChatGPT, using the pro model, is doing some heavy research that will instantly crank out a video I can then do on my crypto channel. So as soon as I'm done filming, I'll have another video ready to go — and if you were to do that kind of research manually, it would take forever.
A Landing Page That Would Have Taken 50 Hours
It's the same with the landing page. If I were to manually write a landing page like this, you're talking 10, 20, 50 hours to write something that specific. It has all the keywords from everything I've done in 15 years online. It has all these very specific questions for people to identify themselves. It lays out the vast amount of reasons you would join the Jerry Banfield Family: money, crypto, YouTube and content, sobriety and escape, health and weight, AI, dating, relationships, divorce and starting over, business, life, books and legacy. I know how to do all this stuff, I'm leading by example in every single area, and I have one single Skool community for all of it.
Writing that landing page would have taken up probably a week of me working hours every day. Instead, ChatGPT Pro used all the AI training data I've built by running everything through Claude. I just dump things into Claude, and Claude pulls all the transcripts out of the video using my GPU, then runs everything, generates all the material, and actually puts it on the website.
So I'm using these two AIs, plus I supplement with a little Gemini — and Gemini also gives me 120 terabytes of storage, which is just incredible. I use Gemini to do deep YouTube research projects, like on my dating channel.
Six Channels, Six Videos a Day
I have six YouTube channels, and using both of these AI programs at once allows me to crank out six videos a day and do insane research behind them with AI. Then I parse through it, question it, adjust anything as needed, and I can put out just insane levels of content. But none of the content itself — like what I'm saying — is AI. I am here. I'm the consistent human that's monitoring all of this.
For example, if you look back at my dating channel, I did a video where I studied the top 100 dating videos so viewers could skip the nonsense. I went through YouTube manually and found over 100 dating videos from different creators, put all of them into Gemini, took all of that and put it into Claude, and had Claude create a presentation that took four hours and twenty minutes to go through. And even though it didn't get as many views as I'd hoped — especially compared to just firing from the hip and talking off the top of my head for 30 minutes on a livestream, or creating a quick 15 or 20 minute video — what has been amazing to see is how the research has helped me improve my knowledge and given me the ability to make better dating videos. Then I combine that across all my channels.
By using both of these at once, ChatGPT also cranks out all my thumbnails. With my $200 a month plan, I can just crank thumbnails constantly — and I don't have to slow down my game development workflow on Claude to make them.
AI Games and Crypto Tech Cap
On my games channel, my newest plan is to crank out AI games with Claude Fable. Some of these, like the one running now, take an hour and 38 minutes working on one single game from one single prompt. Then I'll put these games out, advertise them, and show off AI gaming, while I research topics with ChatGPT. That gives me a games channel that is built off of Claude Fable. Without Claude Fable, I could just make regular gaming videos — I've done those, and some have gotten some pretty decent views, like playing Hearts of Iron 4, where I got around 5,000 views. I can just play a regular game, but I want to show stuff that nobody else is doing, stuff that's at the cutting edge.
This is also what happens when you use these tools together: I made a website called Crypto Tech Cap. I used ChatGPT Pro to do the research for it, though it took a lot of my input to set up the basic system. Then it goes and grabs all the data, and I show it off in my YouTube videos. And I used Claude Fable to actually create the website.
