You don't have to do YouTube alone anymore. I'm available and I can help you. I've been on YouTube for 15 years. I've built channels on all kinds of different topics and niches, and what I can say that matters most is having someone to help you will make everything so much easier.
But what I don't think works very well is buying YouTube courses, paying for so-called experts to tell you an exact system to do it their way. What works really well is to have just a fellow YouTuber that can essentially be a peer coach. For me personally, I have six channels and I'm working on building all of them right now. I get like 50,000 impressions a day, which right now is like five plus thousand views. And those are on brand new channels — six channels created within the last four months. That's all organic traffic, although I am starting to test some more Google ad traffic as well.
Almost Anything You've Done on YouTube, I've Usually Done It
I'm a great person to talk to because almost anything you've done on YouTube, or you want to do, or you've thought about, I've usually done it. You want to test a bunch of shorts? Done that. You want to live stream and go all in on that? Done that. You want to publish 10 plus videos a day? Done that. You want to make a whole bunch of different channels? You burned out? You feel like after all these years on YouTube, your channels are dead and you're just not sure what to do next? You feel like it's all a failure? I can identify with absolutely all of that.
And yet today, despite everything on YouTube, I'm still cranking out like six videos a day. I still do live streams. I've not been very impressed with doing shorts, although I see people doing shorts. If you wanted to do reaction videos or get a lot of views on shorts, I'm certainly aware of what's working. I'm looking for creators all the time that are doing really well in the algorithm, and I did a video recently about one of them — you can find it in my YouTube Coaching playlist. I'm on top of what's happening on YouTube, and I'm personally building all my channels.
One of the best things that I have to offer you is the ability to listen to what you're doing, to review your channel, to look at what you're doing, and to give very personalized feedback based on what I've seen over 15 years on YouTube and what I'm seeing right now. I have several different kinds of content and niches and areas where nobody knows me and I'm trying to make videos cold, and areas where I used to create content years ago and there's still people that remember me. I've got the ability to just listen to you. You can screen share and show me your channel, show me what you're doing right now, and then start asking questions. What do you think about this? What can I do to monetize?
To me, one of the best ways to monetize today is to have one on one calls, because almost all the other monetization methods are getting eaten up by AI. Digital products in the age of AI are almost ridiculous. Why would I pay for a course when AI can just tell me how to do it? Now, the challenge with YouTube is I've asked Gemini, ChatGPT, and Claude all a lot about YouTube, but their answers aren't at the depth that I'm looking for.
I was talking to my friend the other day, and he's like, why do you only talk to me about this one subject? I said, well, because I love talking about YouTube, but I can't talk to you about it because you're a musician, you're a drummer. It's like how you can't talk to me much about drumming — I can see what you're doing, hitting the drums and stuff, but all the nuances and everything I just don't get, so you can't really talk much about that. And I feel the same way with YouTube with almost everybody I meet. Almost everybody I meet can't talk about click through rate and impressions, view duration, view formats, titles, thumbnails.
How I Use AI to Make Videos Rapidly
What I do that's really special on YouTube is I make videos rapidly. And if you feel like there's a way to use AI to speed up everything you're doing, talk to me — I'm doing that. I use three different AI at once today. I use Claude to crank out videos and turn them into blog posts. That way I've got a permanent, written record of all my videos indefinitely. The web hosting I have is practically free, it's secure, it's incredible. And I use AI to generate rapid thumbnails for me — ChatGPT, I have the $200 a month one. It's incredible how I just generate all my thumbnails. I go back and forth, instant feedback on video ideas. And I don't even have to write the descriptions anymore. I get detailed descriptions and tags. Claude takes my videos and cranks out a metadata file, and it takes a picture of the first frame of my video for the thumbnail.
I have a spreadsheet where I track what I'm doing. Yesterday I did six videos with 115 minutes of content. That's 115 minutes of videos yesterday, and that took three or four hours to do all of that. It only took three or four hours to make six videos with 115 minutes of content. Today, in about two hours, I've made three videos — this is my fourth video I'm filming now — with 40 minutes of content, now 47 minutes of content.
So one of the biggest pieces of advice and the ways I help fellow content creators is to speed up your process. If you can't almost instantly take an idea and create a video out of it and have that video published, you're just not working very efficiently. And on YouTube, with the algorithm and all of that, to me the main thing to do is to give what I have to offer to YouTube with the least amount of resistance. Nobody Figures YouTube Out Alone
I know it can be scary to let someone help, because we get wrapped up in trying to feel like we have to do everything ourselves, especially on YouTube. A lot of us that do YouTube videos are used to working alone and not letting people help us. That's why we started doing YouTube videos — the idea that we could just upload videos and that's all we'd have to do, and we could do that all on our own.
Well, I remember watching one of Mr. Beast's videos, and he said the big thing that really turned his videos around is when him and his friends used to just hang out all day on Skype talking YouTube. He said they'd spend like 18 hours talking YouTube, watching videos, talking about titles and thumbnails and every single detail of YouTube. And over time that turned into an incredible understanding of YouTube.
Plus there's the emotional part of it. Doing YouTube by myself is hard lots of times. At least I have other YouTubers because I've been on YouTube for 15 years. I have a YouTuber I film videos with every month — we film several videos together. I have another YouTuber we text and keep up, and we've known each other for a decade. So I always have other YouTubers I'm talking to.
Then if you talk to me, I have a community you can join as well and get ongoing support and DM me anytime. I have a brand new YouTuber in there that I'm supporting right now with his videos. So I am always working with other YouTubers, and I realized the best people for me to talk to online are content creators. I have so many different things I can talk about, but if you're creating content, I've got 15 years of experience creating content. And if you're on YouTube, I'm one of the best people you could talk to — as a coach, as somebody to listen to you, to empathize with you, to help you see your opportunities. Not to just tell you what to do, but to lead by example myself. And you could be getting lots more views than I am right now, and I'd be a fantastic coach to help you increase your monetization, or enjoy what you're doing more, or answer questions, or plan for the future.
