The show Ancient Aliens is my favorite show on TV right now, since I already watched all of Battlestar Galactica before. Ancient Aliens is the one TV show I consistently make time to watch myself. I also watch This Is Us for my wife. Today I want to talk about Ancient Aliens, because this show has helped me a lot to open my mind, and what I think a lot of us want and crave is growth and expansion. Any show that helps open my mind to a world, a universe of possibilities, gets me really excited. It also leaves me feeling like I'm a part of something bigger that somehow makes sense, instead of just floating around alone on Earth.
The premise: we have never been alone
If you're new to Ancient Aliens, the basic premise is that we have never been alone. We are part of a universe that's full of life, and this planet has never evolved in isolation. Aliens have been involved with this planet throughout a very long stretch of its history. Some say that hundreds of millions of years in the past, aliens have been here, using Earth as a genetic test lab.
The more practical focus is to look at some more recent history, things like Egypt and the pyramids. There's all kinds of evidence, there's absolutely overwhelming evidence all over the planet, for this theory that we did not just evolve here on our own and then sit around wondering whether we're alone or whether there's someone else out there. In my view, we never have been alone as a human race. In fact, we are here as a human race as a function of our own genetic alteration. I believe we have been created by beings who were often referred to as gods in our history texts and our religious literature, when really those were flesh and blood, or maybe robotic, extraterrestrials who told us they were gods, or who had what looked to us like extraterrestrial or god-like powers. For example, a piece of technology that, to ancient people, would make a being look like a god.
When you hear something like God referred to in things like the Old Testament, the way I've come to see it is that this is really an extraterrestrial who is giving orders and guiding things on Earth, and that this has never stopped. It has continued through all of human history. Things like the pyramids, all these ancient wonders around the world, were built by civilizations that had superior technology to where we are today. If you watch Ancient Aliens, you will see a massive amount of evidence for this theory. And yes, critics can easily say that this point or that point might not be right. Sure. But when you aggregate the 16 seasons, with hundreds of episodes among them, it becomes very clear to me that whatever history I was taught in school is an extremely limited point of view that misses out on the more interesting picture.
I've come to believe that humans did not just evolve here by ourselves, using tools and developing on our own intellect. Rather, beings with superior technology have given things to us, made things, and more than likely still rule this planet and guide what happens here. We have never been alone, and we are in a galaxy similar to Star Trek or Star Wars, where there is some extraterrestrial rule. There is an extraterrestrial civilization that rules this planet today, and it's done discreetly. It's not done blatantly, right in your face, although we may be moving toward conscious knowledge of this, because for most of human history it was very common knowledge and very conscious that there was a being who flies down in a spaceship, tells everybody what to do, then goes back up in the spaceship and leaves. It's amazing.
The two pieces of evidence that are hard to dispute
There are two pieces of evidence that are repeatedly shown throughout the show, in many different forms, that are hard to dispute.
Number one is the architecture, the way many of these ancient buildings and structures were built. We don't even have technology today that could build some of these things, or build them the way they were built. For example, the pyramids. Maybe we could build that with heavy cranes today, but the pyramids were built extremely inconveniently, with massive blocks, way too heavy to push on a log or something dumb like that. The blocks are so heavy they would smash a log directly apart. There are many structures around the world built with really heavy blocks, just tons each. These are blocks that people would not have been able to lift through strength or through pulleys, and they're put together so precisely that they don't even have mortar between them.
This architecture is all over the world, which again does not make sense by what we've been told in school, that these civilizations evolved separately. You've got similar architecture from deserted or relatively difficult-to-reach islands in the Pacific, like Easter Island, to South America, Africa, Asia, North America, the Middle East, and Europe. The way they built these, we would still have difficulty building, if we could build them at all.
The second incredible piece of evidence is that they've found signs that there was a nuclear war in the ancient past. There's a phrase called vitrification, which means that when you drop an atomic bomb, it turns sand into a kind of glass. They've found evidence of this, and you see stories in the ancient Indian texts that say there was a war among the gods. There was, in my view, a nuclear war in the ancient past. Even the Bible speaks about a time, in the beginning of the Old Testament, where people are leaving a city, someone turns back to look, and she is turned into salt. That sounds like a nuclear blast to me. You look, and bam, there's a white light, and you just get wiped out all of a sudden.
The difference between evidence not existing and you not having seen it
There's a ton of evidence for the ancient alien theory, and there's a big difference between evidence not existing and you not having seen the evidence. That's one of the most important things I've gotten out of the show. Maybe 10 or 15 years ago, I was pretty skeptical about things like aliens, and about anyone who went around saying they existed, because that's the viewpoint I'd been given by others. I've since learned a very valuable lesson: there's a big difference between you having seen the evidence and the evidence not existing.
No one can say that something simply does not exist with any validity, because if you haven't seen it, it can still exist. Since you haven't seen everything yourself, you can't know that anything doesn't exist. That means you can't say with any correctness that something doesn't exist unless you've seen all of reality. This is a very important lesson for me. When I hear anything now, I process it through this filter: just because I haven't seen the evidence that something works doesn't mean it doesn't exist. To put it in positive terms, if something is real and I haven't seen the evidence of it, all that needs to happen is for me to see the evidence, and now I know it's real.
The Paul Schneider story
Ancient Aliens has some of the most amazing stories. One episode I watched recently was in the 2019 season, and there was a man named Paul Schneider. They have him on recording, I believe from the 90s. Paul was talking about how he was a geological engineer hired by one of the U.S. military or defense agencies to go down and make underground bases for the government, places where they could keep secrets and do whatever they wanted.
In the course of building these deep underground bases, they were using dynamite to blow open caverns. One of these caverns they blew open, they exploded into an existing alien base that they did not know was there. These aliens started firing laser beams, shooting their weapons and killing the U.S. Department of Defense personnel down there, including FBI agents and military personnel. Paul escaped and lived to tell the tale. He told it publicly, and it was recorded. About eight months later, he mysteriously died with a tube around his neck, and the police ruled it a suicide. Meanwhile, his family and friends say this was absolutely a cover-up, and that there's no way he would have taken his own life. Paul Schneider's father had worked with Oppenheimer; he was a very intelligent child and went through a top-tier education system.
Ancient Aliens has uncovered so many stories like that. You could look at any one story and say, okay, maybe that guy's telling the truth, maybe not. But then you hear another one, and another one.
Bob Lazar and element 115
They talk about an engineer who worked at Los Alamos. His name was Bob Lazar. He was stationed out near the White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico in the 90s, and there was a lot of crazy stuff that went on out there. My mom was in the army and stationed out there, and she saw a lot of strange things too.
Bob Lazar said he was working on element 115, which is the key element for spaceships that are able to warp space. Element 115 is so heavy that it creates a disturbance in gravity. Using it, you can actually create a gravity bubble and go faster than the speed of light, which is essential for interstellar space travel. He was working on this in the 90s, he said, at Los Alamos, and there's also information that he was working at Area 51. He became a whistleblower and came out and said, look, people need to know this. He started talking about it, and all of a sudden they just erased him. The government cut him loose from his work assignment, and officially they said he never worked there.
One piece of evidence remained, though. There were phone books printed from the directory that had his phone number in them. If he never worked there, there's no reason his name and number would be listed in the phone directory. There was also a photo of him from his time at Los Alamos. There's a Bob Lazar interview where he appears on Larry King, and there are reverse-engineering connections people point to, even the Call of Duty Black Ops "115" references. If you want to dig in, look up the Bob Lazar interview.
The Antarctica armada
There are so many of these stories on Ancient Aliens, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. They've got accounts from actual people who've seen UFO wrecks. There's another great story they've shared several times. In 1946, after World War II ended, the United States sent a massive armada of naval ships down to Antarctica to explore it. I believe there were rumors, theories, or intelligence saying that the Nazis had established a base in Antarctica. So the U.S. put together a massive armada of warships, with one of their top commanders leading it, to go research a potential Nazi base.
When they got down there, there were spaceships, craft with laser weapons that cut ships in half. The armada turned around, having had a few vessels sunk, and went back to the USA in defeat, never landing at Antarctica. That's something you could look up as well.
The Guy Hottel memo on the FBI's own website
Then there's the Guy Hottel memo, the most viewed memo on the FBI's database. Millions of people have looked at it, and Ancient Aliens has talked about it. The FBI, fairly recently in its whole history, released a memo from the director of the FBI office in Washington, DC to FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover. The director's name was Guy Hottel, and apparently Hoover had asked him to find out what went on in Roswell. Hottel sent a memo back, and you can pull it up right on the FBI's official website. You don't have to take my word for it.
The memo is dated March 22, 1950, from Guy Hottel, SAC, Washington. Subject: flying saucers. It says, in essence, that an investigator for the Air Force stated that three so-called flying saucers had been recovered in New Mexico. They were described as being circular in shape, with raised centers, approximately 50 feet in diameter. Each one was occupied by three bodies of human shape, but only about three feet tall, dressed in metallic cloth of a very fine texture. Each body was bandaged in a manner similar to the blackout suits used by speed flyers and test pilots. According to the informant, the saucers were found because the government had a high-powered radar set up in that area, and it was believed the radar interfered with the controlling mechanisms of the saucers.
That's an official FBI memo, released in their archives, about the subject of flying saucers. For every little official tidbit like that, I believe there's a whole bunch that has been covered up.
Reading the ancient texts in technological terms
The basic idea is that there is an absolutely overwhelming amount of evidence: hundreds of thousands of reports, all kinds of stories, testimonies, everything from abductions to encounters. You can look at some of the ancient texts in a new way. When it says something like Jonah was swallowed up in a whale, if you put it in technological terms, maybe Jonah went over to the water, a UFO picked him up, he went down inside the belly of the "whale" (the UFO), and then came back out having learned a few things.
If you enjoy following along with explorations like this, I keep these conversations going on YouTube in my Life playlist, where I share what's most exciting to me.
The three races vying for influence over Earth
On Ancient Aliens, they said there are three primary types of aliens vying for territory or influencing Earth right now.
The first is the Nordic-looking aliens, the tall whites, the kind of Thor-looking beings you can imagine. The Nazis said that they were working with these, and that's where the Nazis got the idea for the master race when they came up with all of that in the 30s. The theory is that the Nazis recovered a crashed UFO, got their technology from it, and were actively working with those Nordic extraterrestrials, who are very much like us. In fact, we may be here as a function of their creation. There are stories on Ancient Aliens about how the U.S. government rushed in to get those German scientists, and how the U.S. government actually made an alliance, and has active alliances today, with multiple extraterrestrial factions. We get technology from them in exchange for something. What I want to know is, what are we giving them in return? Are we giving them access to this planet? Are we giving them control over things like the internet? What exactly are we giving them for what we're getting?
Pilots and police told to keep quiet
There are so many stories of police officers getting called out to UFOs and seeing them, and of pilots having seen UFOs and being told to keep their mouths shut or they'll lose their jobs. A UFO sighting from a pilot, you would think, is extremely reliable: somebody who has put in tens of thousands of hours flying planes sees a UFO. That's a high-quality sighting. Tons of pilots have seen UFOs and been told that you either keep quiet or you lose your job. Many have talked about it anyway and then lost their jobs.
There's also something weird going on with cows on this planet, all these random cow abductions and mutilations. Farmers find cows very strangely mutilated, looking like laser tools worked on them, not something a wolf would have done, but something that looks like it happened on a lab table.
Are we being farmed?
One idea that came up is that we're being farmed, that we're being used. That actually makes a lot of sense to me. I'll let you know if I get farmed.
What I'm hoping is that as each of us cultivates truth within ourselves, our government will rise to a level of consciousness and trust where we can be open about these things. It seems to me that disclosure, in terms of our bigger place in the galaxy, will happen when the population, according to the judgment of those making the decision, is prepared to receive it. Think about it this way: if you were one of the people or extraterrestrials truly in power over this planet, and you looked at the people on it, would you tell them at this point that there are all kinds of aliens here and we're part of a big galaxy? Do you think the seven billion humans on this planet today are ready to handle that?
I'd like to think that, if not today then maybe tomorrow, in my lifetime our humanity collectively will be in a place where those in power trust the rest of humanity. I'm hoping we're going to be able to handle that information and not go crazy, not just tear the world down, and also not rebel and try to fight either.
My theory about the pandemic and the vaccine
I have a theory, and I want to be clear this is my own speculation, not a statement of fact and not medical advice. The recent pandemic and COVID have all seemed not fully disclosed to me. What it seems like to me is that the real agenda is to get everybody on the vaccine. My speculation is that you could use a vaccine to genetically modify the recipient. A vaccine may contain things to stop a particular virus, but I wonder whether it could also carry genetic code to modify your body. I find myself wondering whether this might be happening on a routine basis, which is part of why all the schools require shots, and whether the people or extraterrestrials truly in control of this planet could be intentionally modifying our DNA through vaccines and through viruses distributed other ways.
What I realized is that there's a big difference between what I know from experience and what I treat as fact. The more you talk about this stuff, the more people will come at you with closed minds. I talked to someone recently who said, well, that's just the way it is. I don't know whether that's true or not, and neither do they. There's a big difference between somebody saying something and you actually hearing and weighing what they've said. So, honestly, I don't know what the vaccines contain, and almost nobody does, because unless you can do the science yourself, know the human genetic code, and trace exactly what happens when an mRNA sequence is injected into the bloodstream, you just don't know what's actually in it.
Someone joked that if these are upgrades, they'd better get their vaccine so they can be part of the upgraded human race. Why would they want to be part of an upgraded human race? What I'd like is full disclosure, because there are a lot of reasons that modifying our DNA might be helpful. For example, they were talking about how, in the ancient past, maybe 75 million years ago, humans suddenly developed the ability for a mother's body to not reject the fetus, which is a very helpful genetic modification. These bodies appear to have been created by design, and you hear all these stories that it was God that created humans, not evolution. To me it seems like it's both: that God is an extraterrestrial in a spaceship who pulls up to a human, gives them a "vaccine," sends them back down to Earth, and now the human's DNA has been modified. Kids get all kinds of vaccines. There's a lot of potential benefit that could come through genetic modification: you could upgrade the intellect, you could do so much through modifying the genetic code. It completely makes sense to me. What we don't clearly know is how it fits into the bigger picture.
An intergalactic war we don't even know we're in
I heard a theory recently that I really like: that the purpose of this planet, in the bigger picture, is that there is an intergalactic war that's been going on for a really long time, and this planet is just another colony being used to fight it. That means our bodies could be being used, though we don't know in exactly what capacity. We collectively, as a planet, may be helping fight an intergalactic war right now, and we don't even know whose side we're on or who's fighting in it. Our planet may be providing resources and labor for an intergalactic war. That feels really true to me, which is probably why I've always loved things like Star Wars and Star Trek.
One idea is that it prevails in human consciousness that we're all alone, that we evolved alone on this planet, and the open question is whether there's life in the rest of the universe, as if the universe were barren or open and full of untapped possibility. The other end of that possibility is that the universe, or at least our galaxy and the galaxies nearby, has already been almost completely explored. We may be in the middle of an old galaxy where many planets have already come and gone and been destroyed.
An old galaxy: Mars, and the missing planet
For example, Mars appears to have been hit by a super weapon. There's a massive scar stretching across the middle of Mars. Based on where it's positioned, Mars should have been an Earth-like planet, perfect for civilization. On Ancient Aliens, the theory is that Mars was hit with a super weapon in the distant past that wiped the entire atmosphere off the planet and wiped out life there.
It also appears that between Mars and Jupiter there was another planet, in another Earth-like zone, and that planet was completely annihilated. All that's left is an asteroid belt. According to our physicists, there should be a planet between Mars and Jupiter, and yet there's an asteroid belt. If a planet were blown up, an asteroid belt is exactly what would be left in its place.
So the other way to look at this universe is that we're in a very old galaxy where there have been a lot of intergalactic wars, many planets already destroyed, many civilizations wiped out, and we are one of the planets contributing to the fight. Most of humanity is not aware of our involvement, but some of humanity is very aware of it.
The Space Force and our place in the universe
In 2019, the U.S. government made the Space Force an official agency, now alongside the Air Force. So I'm imagining that in this body's lifetime there's going to be a conscious awareness of our place in the universe, in the bigger galaxy. If you wanted to use this planet to fight an intergalactic war, it would be helpful for all the inhabitants to understand what they were contributing to, so they could make their most effective contributions. At least that's how I look at it. It depends on what exactly is needed from this planet. If they need to farm us for body parts or for soldiers, maybe they'll do that, and maybe there's a belief that it's better we don't know. Kind of like the Matrix, we're just going about our lives when really we're here for another purpose.
What I feel great about is knowing that these ideas are fun. They open my mind. I realize I don't know whether a planet was destroyed in this solar system or not. I don't know whether Mars was hit with a super weapon or not. I've seen evidence that it was, but I could also see evidence that it wasn't. Ancient Aliens is a really helpful show for keeping an open mind and realizing how little I know about the bigger picture. Each of us knows almost nothing about the bigger picture compared to what's possible to know, and that leaves me very excited about the future. I love the idea that all these UFO encounters and alien involvement could, in the future, be known consciously by the masses, instead of being known by only a small percentage of us. That gets me excited.
I've heard through Ancient Aliens that the United States has, for at least 20 or 30 years, had ships that could cloak and fly faster than the speed of light, that the U.S. has had our own flying saucers, and that Bob Lazar was actually working on the fuel for those. If I were going to go into the military, I'd want to be in the Space Force. Some people say the Space Force is just a cover for black-budget projects. If I wanted to go in, I'd want to ask, how do I get on the space fleet?
A colony on Mars and the real race to the Moon
I've also heard, through Ancient Aliens, that we already have a colony on Mars. The theory is that the U.S. has already sent these fast ships that use extraterrestrial technology to Mars, and that we already have a colony there for the purpose of scavenging whatever technology is on the planet. The idea is that the true race to the Moon was a race to go grab the technology just lying there on the Moon.
One theory I think is funny is that the Moon is actually like a Death Star, an artificial construct. Maybe not purely artificial, but the dark side of the Moon is a crazy place. There are ideas that it's hollow, that it's an alien base. I like the idea that we can never see the dark side of the Moon, because of the way it rotates relative to the sun, and that the Moon is perfectly synced up just for this planet.
I also like the idea that Earth was actually terraformed, that this planet is really too hot and ought to be more like Venus, but that the technology we had when we were on Mars was used to make it livable. There are a lot of theories that we came over here from Mars, and that this planet was terraformed so we could survive on it, because it wasn't very livable. At some point a kind of shield was put on Earth to stop so much of the sun's rays from coming in, allowing the planet to cool off, and this happened millions and millions of years ago. Now we have an inhabitable planet, when really it ought to be a lot warmer.
I just like having all of these ideas. The universe is more than a planet, more than our minds can even comprehend, at least my mind. If you stretch the limits of your mind, you can sometimes feel it. I sometimes get a little nauseous when I push this human brain to the limit of its processing capacity, which is how I know I just expanded it a bit.
A star with an artificial structure around it
Another cool thing I saw on Ancient Aliens: they said that one star they've found in the sky appears to have a massive artificial structure around it. Some civilization has built something like a giant space station or array of solar panels, a huge artificial structure around a star, and they reached that conclusion based on the strange way the star flickers. Of course, my mind says there could be a lot of other explanations for it. At the same time, I'm sure there must be a star somewhere that has a massive artificial structure around it, built to capture all the energy the star puts off.
The circadian rhythm clue that points to Mars
One of the strangest things about these human bodies, and this part is confirmed by mainstream science, is that these bodies have a circadian rhythm, which means your biological functions sync up with the planet you're on. If we evolved here, you'd think that if you took these bodies off the Earth, they'd still remain synced up with Earth. But a funny thing happens when you take these bodies off the Earth: they go slightly out of sync with Earth's rhythm. Guess what planet they sync up with? Mars. The theory is that, taken off Earth, the circadian rhythm drifts back to a default, and the default is the rhythm of Mars. That fits the theory that these bodies were once on Mars, Mars got hit by a super weapon, a small group of survivors came to Earth, and is now repopulating Earth with the same types of bodies that previously populated Mars. That's probably why so many of us are fascinated with Mars. You could look up "human body circadian rhythm in space" and "Mars circadian rhythm" yourself.
The three extraterrestrial races, in detail
So, back to the three extraterrestrial races. The first is the Nordic type, the tall whites, the ones the Nazis called the master race. The theory for why they're tall is that in lower gravity these bodies would grow taller, and in heavier gravity they'd be more dwarf-like. Our bodies are set up so they can grow taller or shorter based on gravity. The Nordics are the most similar to human beings on this planet, at least the white-skinned bodies, and they're the race we're said to be most directly connected with.
The second type is the gray aliens, the little short aliens referred to in the Roswell crash, with big black eyes. They're known as the grays, and there have been a ton of sightings of them, including the Roswell crash.
The third type is the reptilians. From what I understand, those are the three dominant extraterrestrial species on this planet. We've been created most closely in the image of the Nordic extraterrestrials, but the reptilians and the grays are messing around with us quite a bit too, and they're all competing for territory and influence on Earth. Apparently the reptilians were a race that coexisted with humans in the time the Bible refers to as the Garden of Eden, which many other ancient texts also reference, where there was a snake people who lived with humans. Then God, or probably the Nordic extraterrestrials, had a war with the reptilians and banished them to the underside of the Earth, underground. Now, the theory goes, the reptilians live underground, perhaps plotting to come up to the surface and doing their best to influence life on the surface from below. There have been a ton of sightings of these reptilian extraterrestrials, especially in caves.
Making conscious contact: CE5 and Stephen Greer
Here's another fascinating thing. I've read stories saying that you can intentionally contact these extraterrestrials, that you can do certain things to make conscious contact with them. People pointed me to Dr. Stephen Greer and the CE5 contact method. The idea is that through meditation, going into a deep meditative state, you can actually make contact, because they want to make contact with the individuals who actually know how to reach them. Then you essentially become the ambassador, working on their behalf. Someone in the conversation said they'd made contact before through this method. I think contact through meditation has been covered on Ancient Aliens too.
The reptilian DNA theory
One of the more interesting possibilities I was thinking about while watching the episode on the reptilians: I found myself wondering, half playfully, whether these COVID vaccines could be carrying DNA that makes it possible for us to express a more reptilian nature, that the reptilians could have conspired to get this into our DNA, and that one day all of us could wake up and suddenly express a reptilian nature, with a tail and scale-like skin. I got this idea because there was a woman on the reptilians episode who said she was taken by the reptilians, and they showed her how she could become a reptile, showing her her reptilian features and possibilities.
In fact, all of these bodies have tails in the uterus. Most of us lose our tails while we're still growing in our mother, but some human beings are actually born with tails. It appears we have reptilian ancestry more recent than way back to crocodiles, and that we carry reptilian DNA that could, in theory, be part of a walking, human-like reptile. To be clear, this is me playing with an idea, not stating a fact.
Majestic 12 and the real government
The Majestic 12 is something they talk about consistently on Ancient Aliens. After World War II, I believe under Truman or Eisenhower, in the late 40s and early 50s when the Roswell crash happened, the government started getting heavily involved with extraterrestrials. They decided they needed to set up a council of people to handle the extraterrestrial issue, bringing in the top people from the military and the top scientists. That council was called the Majestic 12, essentially a secret group of advisors on the extraterrestrial issue, handling extraterrestrial technology and relationships.
The theory is that the Majestic 12 has become the real government of the United States. That secret organization took power and is the true government. This was, in the theory, made solid when John F. Kennedy was elected president. Apparently JFK was going to tell the public the truth, or what he knew, about our extraterrestrial involvement, and the Majestic 12 decided that was not acceptable, because they didn't want Russia to learn that we had active alliances with extraterrestrials and were taking technology from them to advance our space travel and our whole society. JFK did not agree with keeping it secret and was going to go public, and so, in this theory, the Majestic 12 had John F. Kennedy assassinated. Since then, the idea goes, the Majestic 12 has ruled every single administration of the United States. Whoever gets elected president takes phone calls from the same secret military council, accountable directly to the extraterrestrial beings who truly have power and influence over this planet.
What it has seemed like to me is that whatever president has been in charge, it never feels like there's truly been a regime shift. It feels like we've been ruled my entire lifetime by the same power structure. It's not like we went from a Hitler or a Mussolini to a Kennedy. It's as if the same person or the same group has been in charge of the country my whole life. In this view, the elections are a big show to distract people from paying attention to the secret government, which makes all the real decisions. The president is allowed to do things they want to do, but when it comes down to something truly important, the president is taking orders from that military council formed back in the 40s.
Why I'm not scared
Someone asked if I'm scared of getting shot for talking about this. Absolutely not, because I feel that the powers behind all of this are seeding human consciousness to be prepared to cooperate consciously with the extraterrestrials on the planet. I believe shows like Ancient Aliens are being allowed out there precisely to plant that seed.
For me, for example, if there were an announcement one day that said, "We've been keeping this secret because we had to, but now we're going to be clear about it: there are all kinds of extraterrestrials, we are not alone, we never have been alone, and we've been working with them in secrecy until we felt we could make this public, and now we need your cooperation," I would not be surprised at all. Some people might be shocked by it, but people like me wouldn't be.
I think even the measures we've seen to lock down the planet in the last year may have functioned as a kind of test of how well authority can be exerted on this planet. It seems to me like a test of whether, if extraterrestrials were revealed, the authorities could keep people calm and at home if some started to be disobedient. From what I see, it looks like that test was passed: governments could make an excuse and ask people to stay in their houses, and people would accept it without fighting. So it seems to me we've just passed a test, and there could be a major announcement about extraterrestrials where people would take orders from their government, sit at home, and watch the news to see what to do next with this new point of view.
If you ever want a more personal, direct version of conversations like this, you can also join the Jerry Banfield Family, where I keep the discussion going one-on-one and in our group calls.
A police officer's view on what's reported versus what's real
As a police officer, I noticed the difference between what was experienced versus what was reported on the news. Today, it seems only logical to me that what is reported officially may or may not have anything to do with an externally observable truth. The people who have the ability to control what is told to the public are at complete liberty to create whatever they feel is best. That means they could tell you anything they want about things like COVID, or about aliens, and it may or may not have any real truth to it. They could completely deny something even if it were pure fact.
That's why I believe it's important for each of us to cultivate honesty, because our governments are made up of people like us. If we cultivate honesty in ourselves, maybe our governments will reflect that too. They might be made up of people who aren't honest, but they're still made up of people like us.
The Russian folder of extraterrestrials
I saw something on Ancient Aliens where a new incoming Russian leader, I believe a president after Putin, was asked by a reporter what it's like to take office. He said there are a couple of things that happen. One, you get the folder with the nuclear launch codes for the military. And the second thing you get is a folder of all the extraterrestrials living in Russia. The reporter asked, well, how many of them are there? And he said he couldn't say, because there'd be a panic. This was recorded footage of an incoming Russian leader describing what happens when you first take office: you get the nuclear codes and a folder of extraterrestrials living in Russia. It leads me to wonder how many discreet or undercover extraterrestrials are living in the USA.
People love a good mystery; it's much more appealing than thinking humans are just being controlled by other humans. And I realize I don't know for certain today. It could just be other humans. There might not be any aliens at all. Without me seeing some aliens myself, being able to put my hands around them, I can't be sure. For all I know, maybe I've hugged an alien before.
The pyramids and anti-gravity technology
Going back to the ancient structures like the pyramids of Egypt or the Mayan pyramids, I have a hard time believing these were built without help. In my opinion, they were absolutely built with help. If you were living in ancient times, according to what I was taught in school, there's no way you would have decided to quarry massive granite blocks, move them hundreds of miles, and set them up as a pyramid just to bury your ruler. People have a trait of laziness. A civilization in ancient Egypt, with no alien or high technology involvement, would not have gone to such extreme measures just to bury a pharaoh. They might have piled some local blocks up, but you would not quarry these massive granite blocks, move them, and set them perfectly into position with manual labor, if that's even possible, so that thousands of years later they're still standing.
What apparently the pyramids were built with was anti-gravity technology, where the blocks were actually cut with lasers and levitated. The more believable story to me is that the blocks were quarried, and anti-gravity technology was used to levitate them a long way from where they came from to where they were assembled, floated and dropped gently into position. What's cool is that one spaceship could have done that single-handedly. There's also a story of a man who built his own block garden in the United States, the Coral Castle. He said he found the secret of the pyramids and that he levitated all of his blocks into position himself. There are so many ancient civilizations that used very similar building techniques that are often inconvenient. We wouldn't build things like this today, let alone 12,000 years ago. Some of these techniques may trace back to a lost civilization that was lost during a cataclysmic event some 12,800 years ago. Look at Puma Punku and Machu Picchu.
An open mind is health; a closed mind is dying
What I love is anything that helps me have an open mind, because children often have very open minds. To me, an open mind is a big symbol of health, and a closed mind is a symbol that you're dying. When you've got your mind closed, when you say "this is how it is, and I know that's how it is, and I don't even want to talk about anything that might be different," I believe you're going to die soon. That's where I was seven years ago. My mind was so closed that I think I was going to die soon with that closed mind, until I prayed to God desperately, "please help me get sober." Through getting sober, my mind opened back up.
I follow my passion today. Anything that gets me excited is right for me, and if I find something boring, it doesn't mean it's wrong for everybody else, just that it's not something for me. I trust my passion: this is what I was most excited to talk about today. I watched some Ancient Aliens last night on Hulu, and I love it. I trust that anything that gets me excited is right for me.
Teaching is my passion
Teaching is my passion. I have a yoga instructor who started up about six months ago. I was one of the people who'd be one of two or three of us there at the start. It was Florida cold, not like the Michigan cold where I was born, but maybe in the fifties or sixties, and just the instructor and one or two others would be doing yoga out in the dark. I've kept coming consistently for six months, and now there were 30 or 40 people at yoga last night. I love being one of the originals there, having known the instructor for so long and seeing all the new people show up. I love being a teacher; that's my passion.
I actually started an in-person show last year, and what I found is that I like teaching online better, because anyone anywhere in the whole world can access it. If I teach in person, it has to be things that are relevant in person, like a yoga class, or a fitness or movement class. But for any kind of teaching or talking like this, the best way to do it, in my opinion, is to deliver it online. What I'd like to do is get some local meetups together. I'm planning a road trip this summer, and I might be available to do some local meetups while I'm on it. I'll be around Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia, and maybe up to Michigan or over to North Carolina. So if you're around any of those areas, get on my text list and I might be able to work out a local meetup. But I love having these conversations online so that anyone anywhere could experience them.
Someone listening to this in a country where it's totally normal might think, yes, of course there are extraterrestrials and our government is talking with them. Someone else might think it's crazy. There are some parts of the world that are really open, and others that are totally closed. Different communities expect that aliens run things, and other communities won't talk about it at all.
I wouldn't want conformity
Someone pointed out that sharing all of this seems to influence people in one direction, and that talking about the possibility of aliens is different from saying it's a fact, like flatly stating that humans could not have produced the pyramids. That's a fair point. I don't know whether humans produced that or not, and of course I enjoy sharing my opinion and having other people share a similar one. At the same time, I realize I wouldn't want conformity.
The worst thing in the whole universe would be if everyone agreed with me and thought how I thought. In fact, I think the universe would instantly come to an end if that happened. The only way the universe could die would be complete conformity, if everything was exactly the same and nothing was different. That would be utter boredom, no more expansion. So I appreciate that my wife, Laura, consistently plays the skeptic, the eye-rolling role, the "mm hmm," or asks some silly question. I'm very used to that at home, and I appreciate it. I wouldn't want her to be any different. I like that Laura doesn't just nod her head and agree with everything I say.
Someone asked, what would happen if a very intelligent rabbi came into my life and said he had all the answers to the universe, would I listen to him? I'd listen, and then make my own decisions. That's the whole point: take it all in, stay open, and decide for yourself. This is the same openness I write about when I share where I believe we come from, like in the evening I chose to incarnate again and choosing my parents before I was born.
The last time I smoked
Someone asked when the last time I smoked was. 2005 was the last time I smoked any marijuana. I smoked a cigar in 2011 or 2012, and I made the mistake of inhaling it. I consistently inhaled anything I smoked, but with this particular cigar I was taking a walk, taking big, deep breaths, and I got dizzy for the first time. I got really dizzy and nauseous, and I thought, all right, I'm never doing that again, that was unpleasant. So it's been almost 10 years since the last time I smoked.
We're having an open discussion here about what we can do to expand our minds. I think one of the best things we can do for our health is to keep that open mind. If you want to keep exploring these ideas with me, you can read more of my reflections, like my diary entry on tennis, my kids, and a UFO, and you can always join the Jerry Banfield Family to be part of the conversation directly.
Trusting the future
I see the future as something that's really exciting, something full of possibility. I trust in life wherever my passion goes, and when I watch Ancient Aliens, I get really excited, just like I did as a kid watching Star Wars and Star Trek. It seems true to me that we are part of a much bigger universe that's full of thriving life, full of ancient history and technology.
That's what gets me really excited and really pumped about a series like this: we're looking forward, and the more we do this, the more we expand. I think that's very important. I appreciate you being here for this discussion about Ancient Aliens, UFOs, world history, and the future of our galaxy. Thank you for a fantastic discussion.
