I'm $200 and some thousand dollars in debt, and I'm hoping that maybe a rich woman will come along, email me, and say that she just loves my personality so much that she wants to date me and pay off all my debt, and we're going to have an awesome life together. Now, I know you might think that sounds ridiculous and unrealistic, but I have a friend who had a situation like that, and I'll tell you about it.
My friend who thought he couldn't date while living with his parents
He was living at his parents' house at the time. He was not dating. He told me, "I need to get my life together, Jerry. I can't date while I'm living at my parents' house. No woman's going to want to date me." I said, that's ridiculous. You have all these other things going on in your life, so what? You could easily meet a woman who has her own house, and she doesn't care where you live, but she will care about the rest of your life. He said, thank you. He took my advice immediately. He put up a dating profile, and he met a woman who's rich. When you ask what she does for work, she's like, nothing. She's got family money. She is able to take my friend on private jet trips through her family's money. This woman is rich.
Literally, all he had to do was show up, be a decent guy, and now they've been together for years. She was just looking for a decent man. She didn't care where he lived or what his financial situation was because she's got her own house, she's got her own car, and she doesn't have to work. Now, every time I see my friend, I'm like, aren't you grateful that I gave you that advice? Because you might still be living in your parents' house today, never having gotten out there.
Why I'm open to a rich woman finding me
I'm very interested in this, because there are some rich women out there who have a hard time finding a guy. For a lot of guys, it's difficult. It's difficult to be a human being these days, and it can be difficult for a woman to find a man that she really feels something about. I'm picturing that maybe one day I'm going to just put these YouTube videos out to the world, aka Mr. Worldwide, and women will be watching. We've got some amazing videos. Right now, 96 percent of the audience is men, and maybe some of the men have been telling the women they know to come watch my channel. Anything's possible.
Ideally, I would like to find a woman that I could have more kids with, who is super healthy and who appreciates that I'm healthy. At the same time, I am keeping an open mind. I am opening my mind. And what I hope is helpful for you is this: lots of times we limit ourselves with dating. We think, well, nobody's going to love me unless I do this or I do that, unless I get my own place, unless I make lots of money, unless I'm super good looking. And from what I've seen, you don't have to have any of that.
I've got my own place. I've spent tens of thousands on dating this year, and most of my dates haven't even made it to a second date. Some of these women had good amounts of money, and they didn't like that I was a YouTuber, or they didn't think I had big enough muscles, or whatever it was. Or maybe I didn't like them that much and they could tell. But the key takeaway is that what you want might be just around the corner if you'll open up to receive it.
Opening up to receive
I would love to receive a woman who doesn't care that I'm in debt, who just loves me as a person, who wants to spend time with me, who sees that I'm an author. I would love to receive a woman who wants an authentic, trustworthy, loyal man, a man with energy, a man with health, a man who's a father. And I'm open to receiving that. That, to me, is the key thing.
When I talked to my friend, I helped him open up and be open to receiving a kind of woman. He didn't realize he was going to meet a woman who was rich and who could provide everything for him. But what I saw in him was so many things. I'm like, this guy will clean up on dating apps. He's tall. He's in shape. His job description alone. I'm like, you will clean up on dating apps, bro. He's like, I can't go on dating apps while I live with my parents. I'm like, jeez.
And maybe I would like somebody to let me know: is there something I'm doing that's the equivalent? Because maybe in some ways I'm stopping myself from having the best opportunities in my life. I have some areas I'm superficial in. I like women with a lean, athletic build, and there just seems to be no compromise in me about that. I've tried. I've met so many women where, if I could just get over that, they do have money, they've got a career, they've got a great life, except for that. It's like, ugh, if it just wasn't that.
Limiting beliefs hold us back in dating
But the goal is to know that there are amazing things possible, and that those amazing things can happen for you if you'll put yourself in the position to receive them. I saw a guy today with a beautiful woman. This dude was like four inches shorter than her, and they were clearly in love. And I'm like, see? Now, they probably didn't meet on a dating app. But you don't want to let your own limiting beliefs hold you back in dating. We need to help people. We need to help each other to see where our limiting beliefs are holding us back.
Imagine if my friend hadn't had that conversation with me and been very real about his life. Imagine if I hadn't been curious as to how his dating life was going. And imagine if he hadn't felt comfortable opening up. He might still be living at his parents' house, and this rich woman might still be looking for a guy. Now, she'd probably have been through a few guys by now, but she would not have found a guy that she's been able to stay with and be happy with for years, in a great relationship. So this is an opportunity.
We all have a right to preferences
I just saw a comment that said, oh, you're so superficial and shallow. All of us have a right to have preferences. I know people who can date a woman who weighs anything, and I'm kind of envious. I'm like, that's amazing you can do that. I don't know how you do that, but that's amazing. All of us have a right to have preferences. I try to minimize the number of preferences I have as much as I can. So I've got it down to this: I just want a woman who's healthy, who loves me and what I do, and who really knows me. The preferences are boiled down to those two things.
For me, healthy, in my opinion, is a lean, athletic body type. That's what I think of as healthy. Other people can have different opinions, but that's what I think of. And I just want a woman where we can both feel something awesome for each other, a woman who knows me and enjoys talking with me and who's consistent. I would love to have kids and have more family also. But even that's starting to look like I need to put the least amount of things in the non-negotiable column. Health, to me, is non-negotiable. I don't want to be unhealthy with someone. I also want someone who loves what I do for work, who would watch my live streams and be proud of what I do, because then that's going to help me reach the top in my work, and maybe that'll take care of the debt by itself someday.
So if you're thinking it couldn't happen to you, it absolutely could happen to you. You can get what you want, but you have to get out of your own way. And if you can tell me what else I can do to get out of my own way, please let me know. If you want to talk with me and share your situation, schedule a call with me.
