My Story

I used to have a life I needed to escape from.

For years, I was trying to get away from myself.

Sometimes that looked obvious: drinking, gambling, gaming, chasing stimulation, chasing money, chasing attention, chasing the next hit of validation.

Sometimes it looked impressive from the outside.

I was building online businesses.
I was making money.
I was teaching courses.
I was getting views.
I was growing channels.
I was becoming “successful.”

But inside, a lot of it felt like a prison.

I started my first YouTube channel in 2011. At the beginning, I had no connections, no money, no special advantage, and no idea what I was doing. I just kept going. I uploaded, tested, failed, learned, adapted, and kept trying.

Eventually, things worked.

I became one of the top instructors on Udemy. I made millions of dollars in sales teaching Facebook marketing, hacking, YouTube, Google Ads, entrepreneurship, and more. I built online courses. I ran ads. I learned sales pages. I learned funnels. I learned SEO. I learned how to get attention.

Then Udemy banned me.

So I pivoted.

A League of Legends livestream took off on YouTube. I rebuilt around gaming. Then I burned out and quit gaming.

So I pivoted again.

I became one of the early crypto YouTubers. I made videos about Bitcoin, Ethereum, altcoins, exchanges, wallets, and all the insanity of crypto. I made money. I got attention. I learned the space from the inside.

Then the market crashed, and I had to face what I had been participating in.

So I pivoted again.

In 2019, I went all in on a business idea and ended up in the worst financial situation of my life. I was borrowing aggressively, spending too fast, and imagining some investor or buyer or huge wave of sales would save me. It did not. I ended up in a bankruptcy attorney’s office wondering how everything had gone so wrong.

So I pivoted again.

In 2020 and 2021, I went back into Facebook Gaming and became one of the top partners on the platform. I figured out how to combine gaming, self-help, recovery, spirituality, marketing, and spectacle in a way that pulled people into my livestreams from all over the world.

It worked.

It also started to disgust me.

I watched people spend hours of their lives watching me play video games. I watched mothers, fathers, lonely people, angry people, bored people, and struggling people get pulled into another screen addiction while I made money from it.

That was not the life I wanted.

I had been telling myself I was helping people.

But eventually I had to admit that a lot of what I was doing was keeping people on their phones, in their screens, and away from their real lives.

That is a hard thing to admit when it is also paying your bills.

Then in June 2025, I deleted everything.

Channels.
Followers.
Videos.
Passive income.
The old identity.

I went from being famous on the internet to being a man in St. Petersburg asking a much better question:

I met my first wife on Match.com in 2011. I have gone back into the modern dating app world and found it horrible. I have written about deleting dating apps, meeting people in real life, being direct, understanding patterns, and learning not to hide behind politeness.

I also lost 80 pounds and kept it off.

My life today is built around systems:
