I'm Selling the Shirt Off My Back on eBay, Starting With the One I Met the Queen In

I'm Selling the Shirt Off My Back on eBay, Starting With the One I Met the Queen In

I'm Jerry Banfield, full-time YouTuber. It's September 17th, 2026, this is my vlog, and I'm really excited. I've set up a new way to make money, because I do do this for money. And I want you all to have the chance to have something real and meaningful from what I do, because this is all online stuff. You're in your phone or you're on your TV and it can feel like none of this is real, like it's all imaginary. I'm making it real.

The shirt off my back is on eBay

So here is what is on my website now. If you go to jerrybanfield.com and scroll down past the store section, that store is where I just did my first Cameo. Somebody dropped $25 for a dating video. Suck it to all the dating video haters. Somebody just paid $25 for a dating video on Cameo, I delivered it within about 12 hours, and they gave a five-star review immediately, thanking me and saying it was awesome. So there.

Now, if you scroll below that, every week or so I'm going to put up auctions for things that are meaningful that you might enjoy having. Obviously this is not for everybody, but right now there are two things you might enjoy having. Do you recognize the shirt I'm wearing? Does it look familiar? That's because it's the same shirt. You can buy it. You can buy this shirt off my back. I will sell you the shirt off my back. What a nice guy I am.

The listing photo is me in my chair with the YouTube plaque behind me. I'm grateful I had an awesome time on Who Are These Podcasts last night, a fantastic interview with Carl, Adam, Vinny, and one more host whose name I'm sorry to say I forgot. Chris, maybe? That's a random guess. I had an awesome time with them. This is the shirt I wore last night. This is the shirt I'm wearing for today's vlog. This is the shirt I've worn on several of my other videos lately. So if you're thinking, damn, I love that shirt, where did you get it? Well, now you can buy the exact shirt. I will wash it before I send it to you. The button on my site pops up and takes you straight to eBay, where I listed it on the Jerry Banfield store I have had forever. Just forever. I'm grateful for the great feedback that store has gotten over the years.

In the listing I wrote that I wore the shirt live on Who Are These Podcasts, WATP, because that's kind of the draw, the reason you might like it. It's $34.56 if you want the shirt, and I put it up as an auction that runs for six days, so I'll let you all bid. This shirt cost me $100. But if only one person wants to bid $34 for it, I'll take it. If two people decide they want it, though, things could get interesting. I took some other pictures so you can see what it looks like. There's one of me from the back wearing this shirt, with the studio off to the right. There's me wearing it on Who Are These Podcasts last night with my Jerry Banfield video up on their screen, alongside Carl, Adam, and Vinny. And there's a still from a recent ICP video I wore it in that got thousands of views in the first day. I've worn it on several other videos too, including this one.

What I'm really excited about today is testing this out for monetization. I want to see whether this is a way to monetize that you guys are actually interested in. I think this is cool, because how many times do you watch somebody's content and wish you could actually buy the shirt they're wearing? I think that's cool.

The shirt I met the Queen in

The first shirt I listed, though, is the one I was wearing when I met the Queen. I probably shouldn't sell this one, because maybe it has emotional significance to me, but I'm going to sell it. This is the exact shirt I was wearing that day. In the listing photo I flopped down in the chair really fast, because I was taking the picture on a tripod with the automatic timer, and I don't know why my belly popped out right there, but it did. I'm starting this one at $23.45. It's a limited edition Jerry Banfield shirt that I had printed on Etsy, and there will never be another one like it. It looks just beautiful in person, the red lettering with the white outline on the green shirt. I can't wear it on camera because the green screen would take the shirt right out and leave a floating head, so the photos show what it looks like in the studio. I took those with the self-timer too, and there's another one of me from the back, for those of you who are interested. Look at those calves. That's why gay dudes hit on me in Trader Joe's. This one starts at $23.45 in a seven-day auction, and I'll ship it out to you as soon as possible, which will be right away. The title of that listing is "I Met the Queen Wearing This Jerry Banfield Shirt." So it's there for you if you want it.

What I'm going to do is keep this going every week. I'm going to put up signed books. I'll start putting stuff on eBay consistently and see whether you all like buying stuff on eBay. Do you have an eBay account? Are people going to fight over stuff and bid it up crazy high? I'm just interested to test it, because this could be an amazing story. I'm still in shock that somebody paid $2,000 for the video I sent to the Queen. I think I'm over her now, but maybe I should keep the shirt if I'm not. If I am over her, then we should get rid of the shirt and turn it into more money instead of a souvenir.

This could make great content too. Let's say two people decide they want it. There's only one shirt like this in the world. It's kind of like those pieces of toast that have Jesus on them. Only one exists. So it could be great content if two people are like, I'm getting that shirt, and somebody else says, no, I'm having that shirt, and it gets up to a crazy price, like a thousand dollars. That's why I'm putting these up for auction. There's only one of each, so you guys can decide what it's worth, and I'll happily accept the money and really thank you for it.

I'm going to keep testing this by continuing to list stuff on eBay, and all the links for everything I have on eBay will be on jerrybanfield.com. You'll just be able to scroll down and see what I've got listed. I've got autographed books. Anything you'd like me to list on eBay, you can request. Ideally, if you join the Skool, you can DM me to request something specific, like a shirt or a specific book. The books will be autographed at a fixed price on eBay, because I can just print them in and send them out, but anything else besides that is open.

What I learned about Satanists on Who Are These Podcasts

I also learned some valuable things on Who Are These Podcasts last night. For example, I thought that Satanists, the followers of Satan and Lucifer, were worshiping the devil. But then a guy gave a super chat during the show and said, Jerry, you don't know what you're talking about.

He said, we're worshiping individualism, and we're more atheist or agnostic. We're not actually worshiping Satan. Satan is just a symbol, a symbol for being individuals. So I went into Gemini last night and looked that up. I asked, do modern Satanists actually worship Satan? Somebody told me they don't, that they just worship themselves. And Gemini said that for the vast majority of modern Satanists, the person who told me that is correct. They do not believe in, pray to, or worship a literal devil. Instead, their philosophy centers on individualism, personal autonomy, and skepticism.

I thought, well, that actually sounds pretty good. The Church of Satan, founded in 1966 by Anton LaVey, and LaVeyan Satanists view Satan not as a supernatural entity but as a metaphor representing individuality, primal nature, skepticism, and earthly indulgence. In LaVey's framework, an individual is effectively their own God, responsible for their own destiny, which Gemini summarized casually as worshiping oneself. Damn. That does make sense. My last vlog was about how I don't know what I believe in anymore, and I see now that I just need to ask the AI what I already believe in and what that's called. What I believe in sounds, in some ways, a lot like the Church of Satan. Maybe that's why some people in Alcoholics Anonymous have been hating on me, because I get up there and they know what the Church of Satan sounds like. Why do they know what it sounds like and I don't? Maybe you know something I don't. But I get up there and I'm all, yeah, I'm God, and they're like, ew, ew, ew.

So that actually sounds pretty good to me. I don't believe in worshiping some other entity and praying to it. Some people have said, be careful. I had said that if you bring me the Queen or a Christian woman, Jesus, I'll believe in you forever, and they said, be careful praying to supernatural entities like that. And they're right. I don't want to get stuck being beholden to Jesus or Satan or some supernatural entity for the rest of my life. And boy, I watched some horrific-sounding videos too. There are people doing Christian testimonies that talk about theistic, traditional Satanism, which apparently is a small minority of fragmented groups and solitary practitioners who identify as theistic Satanists or Luciferians. They do believe in Satan as an actual spiritual being. I am definitely not interested in being involved with them. I do not want to worship an actual Satan or Lucifer being. That is for sure. But I love the idea of individuality.

Where ChatGPT says I fit

Then I asked some more questions, because maybe there are other things I fit. I went into ChatGPT, in the same chat where I've been working through the battle for my soul, and asked it a few questions. It said there are a few places I might fit in. It said non-dual spirituality with a strong emphasis on personal autonomy, which sounds like the non-dualism found in Advaita Vedanta. Or it sounds like pantheism, if I mean that God and reality as a whole are identical, which sounds legit to me. And then there's metaphysical idealism. All of those sound great to me. Praying to some one supernatural being does not.

And right then, a guy messaged me a paddle. He messaged me a purple spanking paddle and said, become an affiliate and sell this. On a side note, he wrote, the majority of my female customers say they love this spanking paddle. You know what? If I need to sell a spanking paddle to make some money, I'll do it.

I am so excited. I love testing things. To me it's just so fun to see what you all are interested in buying. Does the shirt I met the Queen in and had my first date with her in, which was an instant date, sell? Wouldn't it be funny if she bought the shirt? I'd be sitting there shipping it, and I know where she lives, because she took me over to her house a couple of times. I didn't go in, but I picked her up and dropped her off and walked over there. So wouldn't it be funny if I saw the address on the order and thought, wait a minute, you bought this?

I rally by doing what I love

I'm grateful. I was kind of down yesterday, and I love how I've been able to rally. I love how I rally. Doing one of these podcasts reminded me that I love being on camera. I love talking. I love presenting. I love being on stage. And it's a very important life lesson that if I want to feel good, it really helps to do what I'm good at and what I love. What I love is making videos. What I'm good at is public speaking. I'm not going to get on a stage every day unless there's one available, but I can get on video every day and just speak and share. I love that. Before this, I recorded an ICP video and a 35-minute YouTube training video, and this is the third video I've filmed today, for almost an hour of content total. I'm going to film a dating video after this.

The $625 date that ghosted me

So I went on a date. I paid $625 for it. Remember, I paid all of this at once: $7,500 for 12 matchmaking dates. So between the $625 for this date itself, split out of the bigger package, and the other $125 or so I dropped on the day, I paid about $750 for this woman to have what seemed like a great date with me. We were flirting. We were connecting. She reacted positively to me being on YouTube. She reacted positively to my diet, and believe me, I've seen some negative reactions to that. We had fun. We went through an art museum. She gave me her phone number. She messaged me that day. Then she literally ghosted me. Two days. I asked her about a second date. Nothing.

I texted my matchmaker today and said, dude, seriously? What is up with this? She said, well, she did the same thing with me; she'd take several days to get back to me. So I said, all right, from now on, for the last two matches, that's a big red flag to me. If a woman or a man, if anyone, unless you are legitimately out in the woods without your phone, which can happen, most people have their phones all the time. At least that's how it feels. My ex is very responsive to her phone all the time. Even if she's with her boyfriend, she'll respond to my message or answer my call. And I'm the same way. She called me while I was playing tennis yesterday, and I picked up between games. What's up? Then she started trying to have a whole conversation, and I said, hold up, I'm playing tennis. This is not urgent. Let's talk about this later. And I realized, oh, she just wanted some attention right now. That's nice.

I'm going to do a video on my dating channel about that, because I'm trying to split off more of these vlogs. More of my dedicated dating-topic videos are going to live on the dating channel, so in these vlogs I'll kind of pass you over there for the dating discussion. That channel is ready to be fully monetized. I would love to get it up to a thousand subscribers so it can start earning ad revenue. It's growing rapidly, with about 400 new subscribers in the last month.

The dating channel is where I'm doing dedicated, straight dating discussions, like an hour-and-57-minute dating-focused live stream, and the ghosting story is going to be a discussion over there.

The channel rebrands

I've also rebranded some of my channels. The Jerry Banfield Show is my vlog channel. I've got a games channel that I'm always putting new videos on. I do have music that you all may love and enjoy. My creators channel is where I share how I do what I do, the inside-baseball kind of thing, if you want that. I've rebranded my ICP channel into a tech channel, so we're not just going to keep talking about ICP all the time; I'm slowly pivoting it into bigger-picture tech, which will be a lot more interesting. And if you want to hear about my money stuff specifically, I rebranded Crypto Reviews into Jerry Banfield Money, and I'm slowly pivoting it into broader money discussions. I've got some pretty out-of-the-box views on money that I think you'll enjoy. I appreciate those of you who follow all my YouTube channels. And if you use other platforms like X, TikTok, or Instagram, I've got all kinds of accounts on those you may enjoy too.

I'm looking forward to a call in an hour and twenty minutes: a guy just paid for a 30-minute call with me. And somebody just bought a Cameo. As I said yesterday, if you have a question you want to ask me and you'd like me to make a dedicated video responding to you, the Cameo is the best option, and it pops right up on my phone. I appreciate that. I'm really excited to see how these eBay auctions go, and I'm really grateful for your support.

I really enjoyed going on Who Are These Podcasts last night, and if you have a show you think I should go on, let me know. I'm also thinking of recording my dates on Zoom from now on and putting them up on my dating channel. If I'm going to go out on these dates, I might as well record them at this point and make content out of it, then open it up to women all over the world who can go out with me. I'm planning and working on that now, and I'm really excited for all of it.

Live streams versus videos

With the live streams, I'm trying to figure out the best workflow. It seems like there are diminishing returns to doing too many of them. The main thing that has built my channels up has been uploading videos. Today, for example, I've had a good six hours of work. Would it be better to do one six-hour live stream? Maybe in the short term I'd get more super chats from a live stream. But the live streams are so all over the place that some of you have said, look, I enjoy hanging out with you on the live streams, but you're kind of manic and all over the place on them. You either need to interview someone and stay focused, or just give me your vlogs, where you can talk without bouncing around like crazy. My ex just texted me, by the way. She must have heard me talking about her.

So I'm going to do a few live streams every week, but most of you seem to feel that the videos are the foundation of what you really like about my channels and what I create. That's where you get the purest Jerry Banfield experience, uninterrupted. I'll definitely jump on and do a few live streams during the week, and I'll keep the videos coming along with that. I really appreciate your love and support.

Embracing the unknown

I'm really excited to see the bids come in on eBay. I'm so excited about this, but it could be disappointing. Literally, both of these shirts might not sell at all. And that's okay. That's what makes life fun. One of the best skills I've gotten into lately is embracing the unknown. I don't know whether the shirt I wore on the podcast will sell. Maybe I'll lose $60 or $70 selling a shirt for $30 or $40 after paying eBay fees and shipping. Or maybe I'll make a thousand dollars. That's what's so fun. I don't know. So I hope that when you are facing the unknown, instead of getting afraid, you see that that's where the fun is. I don't want to sell the shirt I met the Queen in for $23. But I'm interested to see how much it's going to sell for. $23? $50? $100? $200? I'm so curious to see whether there are two people who really care about having this shirt, or not, and how much they care. Imagine if Carl bought it and wore it on Who Are These Podcasts, or if Pat bought it and wore it on his show. These shirts might mean something to a few people. I'm so curious. This is fun.

How I'm a coach

So I hope you're having fun in your life. And if you're not, come talk to me. Come hang out. They asked some great questions on Who Are These Podcasts, like, well, how are you a coach? I said, I can help you have fun in your life. If you're not having fun, if you're filled with fear, well, I'm having fun. I'm having fun borrowing money and building myself up as an internet celebrity again, doing Cameo videos for people about dating, and talking crypto with the guy who's about to call. Ashley Cummings Yoga is going to have a call with me in just a minute too. So I'm having fun, and I'm here to support you. If you're struggling in a certain area, I'm here to listen, I'm here to empathize, and I'm here to share my experience.

Who Are These Podcasts asked, well, how are you going to be a coach? Look, I remember hearing that Tiger Woods had a golf coach, and thinking, why would Tiger Woods have a golf coach? That coach is not as good as Tiger Woods at golf. But the coach is not there to be better than Tiger Woods at golf. I remember Phil Jackson coaching Kobe Bryant back in the day, when Kobe was alive and on the Lakers. Kobe was better at basketball. Phil was there to help the team work together and be their best. Tiger Woods' coach was not there to tell him what to do, but to help him see what he was doing, to spot any little areas he could improve, to observe, and to go back and forth with him. That's what I'm great for.

I'm so excited whenever somebody buys my dating coaching, and that's what my dating coaching is. I'm not there to tell you I have all the answers or that I'm some authority. I'm out there playing the game right now. I'm there to listen and empathize, to help you feel better, to give you somebody to talk to, and ideally to help you find some people in real life you can talk to for free instead of me. My dating coaching could potentially fill a gap in your life and just be helpful.

So there we go. That's enough for this vlog. There are plenty more days like this one in my Daily Vlogs playlist, and I hope to see you all on jerrybanfield.com.
