Men, here's an idea I've never seen anyone show: wear a shirt that states exactly who you are and what you want, so women pre-qualify themselves before you ever say a word. You can do it for almost free, and it turns cold approaches into warm leads.
What the shirt says
Mine reads: "Dear Single Ladies, I am a YouTuber with two kids who wants more — give me your number," with "sober" on one sleeve and "single" on the other, printed on the front and the back (so the single mom standing behind you in the grocery store sees it too). It signals confidence and directness in a world where so many people are zoned out on headphones and the signals are confusing — where cold approaches are hard and easily unwelcome.
Why it works
Every line is a deliberate filter. "Sober," "YouTuber," "two kids," and "wants more" each repel the people I'm not for and delight the one I am. It's also a value proposition and a clear call to action — "give me your number" tells her exactly what to do, and she can act or quietly pass without any pressure or awkward confrontation. It even reaches beyond the women who read it: someone not interested herself might say, "you have to meet my friend." So being around 100 women effectively reaches thousands through their friends.
Make your own
Don't copy mine — start a trend with your own. Dump everything unique about you and what you want into ChatGPT, have it cut the message down to the fewest words possible, then write it on a thrift-store shirt with a Sharpie and test it before buying a nicer version. It takes real vulnerability and confidence to walk around with your heart on your chest like that, and that strength is itself attractive. The point is to honor the current environment (unfriendly to cold approaches), generate warm leads, honor your own time by filtering out time-wasters, and own exactly who you are.
