I'm Jerry Banfield, and this is my vlog for August 23rd, 2026. I made a big leap forward today in my business. I got back on Instagram, at Jerry Banfield Show and at Jerry Banfield ICP. I got back on TikTok, where amazingly I snagged at Jerry Banfield, and at Jerry Banfield Crypto on there as well. On Facebook, I somehow got my URL back at facebook.com/jerrybanfield, and somebody added me as a friend immediately, Chris Yost, which was amazing. I'm setting up my two Facebook pages, which will be Jerry Banfield Show and Jerry Banfield Crypto there as well. I am going to create a LinkedIn account, and I got a second X account that's just going to be at Jerry Banfield, while my ICP one moves to at Jerry Banfield IC.
Now, why did I do that? Because that's a lot of extra work. But I also rapidly advanced my filming setup today as well. I love when I have these days where it's just a burst of momentum after I've been thinking about something for a while.
A Million Views a Month Sitting Right There
My friend yesterday showed me how she's getting something like a million views a month on Instagram, and I'm like, I need to be on Instagram, man. My content could get millions of views on Instagram also. I'm already putting in the hardest part of the work. I'm getting my videos filmed. And I can see with her that she ought to be putting her stuff on YouTube, but she's not. She's not a professional. I am. I need to be getting the most views that I can possibly get with my content.
I know there are millions and millions of views waiting for me on Instagram. There are plenty of views waiting on Facebook and TikTok. There are more views I can get on X. I hadn't even been uploading these vlogs to X. And I realized how important X is when the guy who's top on the jerrybanfield.com leaderboard came in, dropped $327 one day to buy my chat membership and to talk to me for an hour and 10 minutes on demand. He came in from X. He didn't even see me on YouTube.
So I realized I could be getting people coming in from Instagram, coming in from TikTok and LinkedIn and Facebook and another X account, on all my vlogs. There's no reason that I don't have all those. I deleted all of them last year. I also rebranded my @jerrybanfield YouTube coach account to @jerrybanfield creators, and it's now renamed jerrybanfield for creators, because I am a content creator. YouTube to me is the top platform, but on the other platforms I can bring in an audience as well. It's important to show up as best I can.
The Abundance Mindset Came From Dating
This mindset with my business came from dating. The abundance mindset. I look at my whole little journey with the queen and I see such a scarcity mindset. Come on, there are so many more beautiful women out there who could be compatible with you. Relax.
And I'm thinking the same way about my business. I've had my mind closed. I'm not getting on Instagram or TikTok or Facebook because I don't like them. Well, who cares if you like them? You're already creating content. Just put your videos up on there anyway and take all the views and all the people that come to your website and pay you money, so that you've got a sustainable business. Just do it. A lot of us have these dumb narratives in our head about why we're not doing things that are good for us, and they come out of scarcity.
Sometimes it's easiest to see it in other people, like that woman I talked to the other night who says, oh, I'm not dating because of all these avoidant men. I'm like, well, there are all these avoidant women and I am dating. And then I'm wondering, am I being an avoidant man today?
The number one woman on my leaderboard right now, the one I'm into, I've only been out on one date with. It was an awesome date. She's on the other side of the country right now. She sent me a nice message yesterday. I had sent her one the day before. She replied about 12 hours later the next morning, which makes sense for the time zone she's in. And I'm like, I don't know what to send her. She said she's going camping and she's not going to be able to charge her phone. So why would I even text her right now? It's best to just have some space. She's with her family. And every time I send a text, I inevitably want to get a reply.
Sometimes the nicest thing to do is to leave some space and say, look, I'm going to wait to send her something for a few days until she gets back. But then my mind is like, well, she said she appreciates effort. What if she's thinking, that's it, he didn't text me for a couple of days? Why, when she wasn't even going to have her phone on anyway? It's like, really? Man, it seems so frustrating with dating and love today. It seems like it's all so fragile.
Why My Content Feels Abundant and Dating Feels Fragile
I intend to unify my perspective, because clearly I have an abundance mindset with content creation. I'm going to just throw these videos out there and get millions and millions of people seeing my content, for free, from home. That's an awesome abundance mindset. I'm going to crank out the most content I can as fast as possible with the least resistance. But then with dating it feels different. I don't feel my content creation is fragile. I take steps to protect it, to make sure I'm not violating community guidelines, I use the AI and all that stuff.
It's funny, because I remember feeling like my content creation was so fragile before. Especially when I put my content on all these different platforms and just take the views, then if any one of them craps out, I'm still going to have the others. Unless you really tick somebody off and they nuke your whole life with the press of a button, like what happened to Andrew Tate. I don't know the full story, but I believe what he said from his interview, and we better not go down that tangent.
I want to feel secure in dating too. I listened to another RSD Tyler, Owen Cook, video this morning, and I went to a yoga class this morning. It's funny, I saw a woman there that I thought I had talked to last week. I swore she had the same tattoo, but it was a different woman and she didn't recognize me. She said that she lost her voice out at a club the night before. And I'm like, which club? It's a bar that turns into a nightclub on Friday and Saturday nights in St. P.
Would Going to Nightclubs Be Insane for Me?
So now, with me being 12 and a half years sober and with no sponsor in Alcoholics Anonymous, and in fact I'm going to a meeting in about an hour to meet my sponsee, I'm thinking maybe I could go to nightclubs to practice meeting women. Is that my best idea, or is that an abundance mindset, or is that insane? I honestly don't know. This is me thinking out loud about my own life and my own choices, not telling anyone else in recovery what to do.
I would love for things to just work out with one woman, and I'm open to that. At the same time, I'm willing to put in the work and willing to go experience abundance, because I just talked to a woman who met her boyfriend at a nightclub. I'm willing to go to nightclubs and talk to women to get even better at being social. I don't know that I'd say I'm great. I'm good. I can talk to people in person, and I am ready to meet as many women as possible.
I love the idea that I could meet a woman in her 20s and be dating her and doing YouTube videos with her, getting laid and getting paid, doing all this stuff online and raising my kids and being in great shape and changing the world, playing tennis, getting a full night of sleep, being healthy. I am willing to do what it takes to live my best life. And I want to help everybody else live their best life also. So I am willing to do what I need to do to change myself.
I realized after yesterday that I need to really dial in who I am and what I believe in. A lot of us feel like these egos are so heavy, and yet we don't even know our own ego. I at least should know my ego well enough to say, this is what I believe in, and I'm not accepting other viewpoints.
Thousands of Other Women, Millions of Possibilities
I did message the queen a couple of days ago to ask her if she wanted to take a walk. No response. And I'm like, see, with an abundance mindset, that's fine. I at least invited her. She didn't respond. And then my mind comes up with all these negative stories. If you're in abundance, there are thousands of other women just like her in the nearby area, and there are millions of women who could potentially move here or see my videos online. I'm talking with the woman that's scheduled a call on my website for tomorrow. Maybe she probably wants crypto. Maybe it was her boyfriend or husband that used her account. Who knows? I've seen all that before.
When you're in a state of abundance, there are so many possibilities you can't even comprehend them. So it's insane when our mind gets into, well, it's not working out with this one woman. So what? There are literally three or four billion women on this planet, and millions and millions of single women, millions of single women who, if they found me, might love to be with me. And if I put all my videos on all these platforms and reach as many people as I can, I'm just making unexpected possibilities happen.
What I love is that even though I felt pretty down yesterday morning, I rose strong and I've conquered today. I'm like, you know what, I'm going to go get that abundance that's sitting right there for my business. I'm going to make some adjustments. I'm going to shorten my videos. I've been going on way too long in my vlogs and in my videos. My videos do not need to be longer than 15 minutes. Anytime they go past 10 minutes, it's like, all right, we've got to start wrapping this up. Then I need a few little highlight clips, I share those, and I'll just take all the views I can get.
And then from that abundance mindset in my business, that sets me up to win in dating. From there, I can relax. It's like, you know what, I'm going to text this woman when I feel excited to text her, when I've got something to say. Lots of times in life, it's better to do less. With the queen, I blew things up over the phone. Now, she did her part too. It's important in life to realize everyone does their part. Everyone's playing their roles, and life wouldn't have happened exactly as it happened if you hadn't played your role and they hadn't played theirs. All of us, all the time, are co-creating together. It's not just you.
I went to this yoga class today. I said hi. I had a few nice conversations. And I'm like, maybe I'll try that nightclub. Maybe it's a sign from the universe that I can go to a nightclub and have fun and meet some women.
I used to love going out to nightclubs before I drank, just dancing and talking with women. Ironically, it's drinking that ruined nightclubs for me, because once I start drinking, I'd rather just go home and play video games. I don't want to be out with people in public when I'm drinking. But for me it's actually pretty fun to be sober and to be around people who are having fun, because you can actually pay attention and you can feel their vibes without having to drink yourself.
Then I'm like, well, it might be dangerous for me to be hanging out there. They say if you go to the barbershop and hang out long enough, you're going to get a haircut. That's what I'm thinking about, and I'm only speaking for myself here. I'm open and I'm willing to explore.
Keeping the Energy Going All Day
I'm having fun. I played with my kids today and they played with their friends, and I'm so grateful that I'm able to do this. I'm like, we've got to just keep this energy going all day, every day. It's my job as the operator of this body, and I've done really good being disciplined today. As soon as my mind starts up, I catch it. It's thought a few times about, why do people drink? Why do people have to be like this? Like, I messaged this woman to take a walk and she can't even respond. But then if she does respond, I think, well, maybe there's a little something there, because if there was nothing she wouldn't have responded.
It's like, who cares? Who cares what she's up to? All I'm interested in is which woman would love to be with me, which woman has got to be with me, which women would love to meet me and things will go great. Those are the only women I need to pay attention to. If a woman's providing any resistance, I'm not interested. If you don't want to just hang out with me and have fun, that's fine.
Time to Dial Up the Fun
I also see that it's time for me to dial up the fun. That's why with these vibes I'm like, I want to get the most passion I can into these videos. When I watch RSD Tyler, Owen Cook's videos, I'm like, I can talk like that too. I could talk for three hours in front of a room full of people, maybe at 98 percent of what he does. I can say all the crazy things. I can say all the crazy stuff and come up with all these ideas. Like when I share in an AA meeting, the hard part is stopping. I love sharing at AA meetings. I'm not going to go to that meeting tonight, though, because I don't want to fight anybody tonight. I'll let them do their thing.
My son was playing with my daughter and this girl from across the street, and my daughter and the girl across the street started being crappy to him and trying to exclude him. He gets upset. I'm like, son, let them. Even though I'm not big on Mel Robbins and her whole "let them" theory and her whole story and all of that, and I haven't read the book, I do believe in just accepting when people don't want to hang out with you. If a woman doesn't want to take a walk with me or have a date with me, or she cancels, then move on. There are more women, and the real question is, how do I get in front of more of the right women?
You Just Have to Test Stuff
I think you just have to test stuff. Maybe mid-20s women in a nightclub are the right women for your boy. I don't know. I might have to go investigate. Or maybe it's late-thirties women on my matchmaking service, or mid-thirties women at a yoga class. I don't know, but I do know I want to have fun. I've been sharing all of this thinking out loud in my Dating playlist as I figure it out.
Especially with dating, I can see today why I failed at dating apps. I was so serious about marriage. It's like, we're living in a matriarchy now, and women just want to have fun. Girls just want to have fun, and they're prioritizing fun guys. And I am a fun guy. I know how to have fun and get wild and act silly and get crazy and talk a bunch of junk. And I'm going to do that.
Thank you to all of you supporting. I'm here for you. Anytime you want to talk or chat or build a two-way relationship with me, I'm here for you at jerrybanfield.com.
