I've been reading the Bible recently, and I've been seeing the ICP price chart in a new way because of it. I have been Christian — I was raised Christian — but I got away from the faith for a lot of my adult life. Now I'm getting back into reading the Bible after going out with a woman for a few weeks. You can see that story, in graphic detail, in the vlogs on my Jerry Banfield channel.
Since I've been reading the Bible, I've been looking at this ICP price chart like a crucifixion. I look at it and think, this is like the crucifixion. The price chart has just been killed, to the point where almost everybody who looks at it sees nothing but death and destruction — a rejected coin, a rejected stone. And yet what made the whole religion of Christianity was the resurrection. What I see is that there's nothing in crypto that stands to gain as much from the chart coming back as ICP. Right now it just looks like it's dead and hopeless. But when that chart resurrects, we've got the biggest thing on our hands in crypto.
The Rejected Stone Becomes the Cornerstone
The parable from the Bible is that the rejected stone becomes the cornerstone. ICP is the crypto that almost everybody — every influencer, every corner of the internet — threw out purely over a manipulated price chart. And the price chart was manipulated by authorities, which to me is very similar to the story with Jesus. The authorities put him up there, and he could see it coming. I imagine the people at DFINITY, when they look at the price chart, could see what was coming too: years of being treated as irrelevant while they work quietly.
But look what happened after the life of Christ — we have a gigantic world religion now. At the time, things did not look like they were going very well. He was put to death on the cross. Most people would have figured there's no coming back from that; this is finished. And to me, this is the idea with ICP every day: keep the faith.
Now, this comparison does not guarantee that ICP is going to have a resurrection on the price chart. That's exactly where the teaching applies: blessed are those who have faith without seeing. If you could see the future clearly and see that ICP is going to take over everything in crypto, there would be no faith and there would be no opportunity. A lot of Christianity is built on those who have not seen Jesus — you must have faith that he's there, reach out and seek, believe, and you shall see. That, to me, is what I do. A lot of my videos, to me, are simply helping people keep the faith every day, because the chart is all most people can see. Even though the price has been crucified, the technology has not been killed. The technology is very much alive and well, and we're in a position where at any time the price chart could get resurrected. Almost everything else in crypto does not have that opportunity — for most of crypto, there is no resurrection coming for the price chart.
You Will Know Them by Their Fruit
Here's another comparison with the Bible: you will know them by their fruit. What are these other blockchains actually creating? What can they do for the world? The fruit of ICP is a blockchain that can host my website. I try to point this out in every video because it's so concrete: my website is on the blockchain. This is one of the best — if not the number one — website hosting setups in the world right now. It's incredible, and it's nearly free. I have 1,200 or so posts — however big the blog has gotten now — with thousands of pages and assets on this website. I'm able to put all of that on a blockchain and serve it for less than $5.
I'm not beholden to any company. There's no WordPress. There's no Kinsta hosting. There are no themes I have to upgrade. The site just sits on the blockchain. To me, this is like some of the miracles Jesus performed in his lifetime. For those who saw them directly, it was easy to follow and commit — wow, this is truly amazing, I'll do anything to be of service and share this message. But what about those who are only hearing about it by word of mouth? What's amazing with this technology is that you can go use it yourself. You can put Claude in a console on your computer, like I've got, and use it yourself. You can see this with your own eyes — you don't have to take my word for it. Although if you're not going to try it, you're left taking my word for it, and I've been making a living online for 15 years.
Consider just the fact that this is, in my experience, the best hosting infrastructure in the world right now for a simple solopreneur website, and all the problems it solves — all the software solutions I cut out. I cut out WordPress. I cut out Google Cloud. I cut out Kinsta, who managed my WordPress. I cut out the themes I had to use for WordPress. I cut out the commerce plugins. All of it now sits right on the blockchain. I don't have to worry about my website getting banned or taken down because I pissed somebody off. I don't have to pay $100 or $200 a month in hosting just in case I go viral again. The website just sits there, and I could probably put $100 of cycles into it once and that would be good for hundreds of thousands of website views — anytime, now or later.
I'm here to preach the message of ICP because I see how incredible this technology is. Just because most people don't see it yet doesn't mean it's not there. I've been in tech a long time, and this is amazing. If you look at the fruit that ICP has produced, it is concrete, it is right there — you can go taste it and use it yourself.
A House Built on Rock, Not Sand
What ICP has built in crypto is like the story from the Bible where Jesus talks about building your house on rock versus sand. When the storms come, the house built on rock stays standing. So when you look at the charts in crypto, yes — this crucified ICP price chart doesn't look too good. But when I look through all these different coins, I ask you: which of these is built on rock? Which of these could withstand having their chart look like ICP's? Which of these can withstand the storms that are certainly coming — the war on crypto, AI hacking, narratives getting pulled, more people giving up, institutions withdrawing, laws passing that may regulate some of these projects into obscurity? Look at teams like Bittensor's, where one of the top subnets is leaving. Which of these is built on rock versus sand?
Almost everything in crypto is built as fast as possible, and then when the storms come, it gets taken down. ICP is the only thing I see that is built truly to last through all the storms. And in crypto, we usually get three years of bear market for every one year of bull market — so you really need something that's built to weather the storm more than something built to pump for one market cycle.
Dishonest Scales and False Prophets
Here's another comparison: the Bible repeatedly condemns dishonest measurement. It says things like God cannot stand adjusted scales — dishonest scales. When you look at crypto, which of these top coins is being honest about their metrics, about their capabilities, about their marketing? That deception is not going to last forever. Many of these coins are false prophets — projects that promise everything. I have to mention this one, because one of the co-founders of Bittensor TAO came out and said there have been three major innovations in his lifetime: one, the internet; two, Bitcoin; and three, Bittensor TAO. That has false prophet written all over it. You're promising everything, when AI can go in, read all your documentation, compare it to ICP, and tell you how relatively little what you've created can do versus what ICP can do. AI is there to help you keep the faith — you can use AI to cut through all of this.
Dropping Everything to Follow
Right now there's a small group of us left carrying this message, and I think that's what's meant to happen. In the times shortly after Jesus finished his teachings, was crucified, and then was resurrected, there was a very small group of people — a small remnant — carrying the message. Look what that has turned into today. ICP has a small group of us like that. I was reading the part in the Bible where Jesus comes along and simply tells a fisherman to follow him, and the guy drops his whole life and starts following Jesus. Another man tells Jesus he has to go bury his father first, and Jesus tells him, let the dead bury their own dead.
I've dropped everything else in crypto at my own expense. I have sacrificed so much personally. My portfolio has gotten crucified along with most of the rest of ours. Do you understand? I could have made hundreds of thousands — maybe millions — more dollars if I had shilled all these other projects, if I had just shilled exchanges and meme coins. Do you realize that when I started a brand-new crypto channel, within three months it was making $10,000 a month selling a crypto course — and that was with no sponsorships, just selling a crypto course? All I did every day was put out one video with shallow information about a different coin, and I quickly went from zero to $10,000 a month doing that.
Now imagine if I'd kept doing that, like some of these people have. Imagine how much money I'd be making doing the same shallow content every day, watching other people get away with it. I'd probably be making $20,000 to $50,000 a month in recurring income from people joining all my offers, and I'd probably be getting ten times as many views as I get now. Yet I dropped everything else in crypto because I see something real. I see something that's not like everything else — something that is life-changing. Like that fisherman when he saw Jesus and knew he had to follow, that's the effect ICP has had on me. I had to drop everything else I was doing in crypto and follow this, because I've come to believe this is the truth — this is the way in crypto.
Now yes, I've made an analogy here — to help your brain process all of this and put it in a context where things aren't hopeless just because the price chart is down. That's where faith comes in. I've made this comparison to help you feel better and to help you keep the faith on a day-to-day basis. There's no guarantee — that's what faith is for. But based on everything I've seen, I believe we're going to see a resurrection on the ICP price chart one day.
A Small Remnant Keeping the Faith
I don't know when the resurrection is going to come, but there's a small remnant of devoted followers — me, Blockchain Pill, Bobby O, Zero to Hero, Michael Duffy — who carry the faith every day and spread the message every day. And as I talk to people, I'm seeing others doing the same thing. Some of you are telling your friends and your family, and meanwhile governments and corporations are quietly getting in on this already.
It might seem like Christianity is everywhere now, but it took hundreds of years before Christianity grew into the main religion, and Christians were persecuted for a long time. I feel like we can relate to that experience — people in ICP have been persecuted a long time, left out, shadow banned. And yet I see that our day is coming.
Now, this isn't financial advice, and I'm all in on ICP because of what I've shared here. I'm grateful to have this context to put it in today, because I read my Bible every day and I learn and expand my faith — and I use the technology on ICP every day and learn and expand my faith there too. I had an issue with my website today where I tried to do 2,000 updates at once, and that was working fine until something broke. It took two hours using Claude Fable to figure out that we needed to set up a Python script that just checks which things actually need to be updated — maybe 20 pages at most — and then doesn't touch the other 2,000 assets on the blockchain. And yet even the inefficient way I was updating everything still hardly burned any cycles. This tech is incredible, and we have everything in place to have a fantastic faith in it at this point.
Join the Jerry Banfield Family
Nothing is guaranteed, but I maintain the faith every day, and I look at my primary job on YouTube as helping you all maintain the faith too — being as creative as I can in how I carry that message. I hope everything I've said here has been respectful, useful, and from my own experience. And for the best experience, come join the Jerry Banfield Family. I'm grateful somebody is joining every day now. I'm tired of having a one-way relationship where I just talk at you — when you join the Family, you can talk back to me. Go right now, click Join the Family, and when you land on the about page, pick whatever you want to pay, then introduce yourself or send me a message. Post questions, share links, ask for my opinion. This is the only place I read comments and direct messages, and I would like to get to know you — I'm making it easier than ever.
We had such a great community on OpenChat before, but I'm bringing it onto Skool because it has a lot more features — even with the ability that still exists to set all of this up fully on-chain with AI, you still have to deal with payment gateways. I bring in people from all over, from all different kinds of places, and I'm grateful for every member in there.
Until the resurrection comes, I'll keep carrying the message here every day — you can keep the faith along with me by following the newest videos in my ICP Crypto playlist.
