The Biggest Crypto Story Right Now Is Being Ignored

The Biggest Crypto Story Right Now Is Being Ignored

The Biggest Story In Crypto Came Out And Almost Nobody Covered It

The biggest story in crypto right now is being ignored by most of the publications and the largest creators, and it is very important for you to understand how and why this all works. If you haven't seen it, here it is: an Axios exclusive that came out yesterday, headlined "UN agency tests alternative to major cloud giants."

If you're not seeing how big that is, look at it again. A UN agency, and this agency has 170+ countries in it, testing an alternative to the major cloud giants. These are major cloud giants. Trillions of dollars a year in value, and almost no market besides them. And look what this is: a United Nations team is teaming up with the Switzerland-based organization named DFINITY to help governments build AI-powered software without relying on US and China based cloud providers. Why does this matter? Concerns about the world's reliance on foreign cloud providers have been mounting as governments question how much control they actually have. So this is a huge problem, a huge potential user base, and a huge potential solution.

So who is this? The DFINITY Foundation. Which coin? Internet Computer Protocol (ICP). They are launching a pilot program to help governments test AI-powered applications that give them more control over where their data and computing reside. This is infrastructure level. This is massive. This is not just maybe the price will go up a little bit from sending some transactions. Pakistan is already working on this. Pakistan was essentially the first test case for it, and now they're expanding to five more countries within a month, with a specific problem proposed by each government. Here's the big picture: as governments rush to adopt AI, some are experimenting with ways to build AI-powered public services without the major cloud providers. And ICP is the only solution I am aware of for this in the world. Five more countries are going to work with DFINITY, the foundation behind Internet Computer Protocol, on things like using AI to analyze medical scans.

Why This Is Different From Every Other Crypto Partnership

Why is this so massive? Almost every other partnership you hear about in crypto comes down to sending transactions on a blockchain, and that has a very hard time bringing real economic value into a coin. Even if the XRP fantasizers get their way, even if you send a trillion dollars of real world assets around on XRP, you're still only looking at burning a few thousand dollars a day in XRP to do that, which is meaningless to the value of the token. And there's no reason to hold XRP to send those transactions either.

The economic value of actually having to use the token to pay for the infrastructure is something nothing else in crypto has. If even a few of these governments start moving onto ICP, you're talking about burning millions and millions of dollars of ICP, and as small as the market cap is, that means consistent upward price action. That is my opinion, not financial advice. I'm all in on ICP because this tech is futuristic infrastructure, and this article shows that governments care about it. If governments care about this, companies care about this. And individuals like me, who build a website on Internet Computer Protocol, care about what it can do for technology. Not speculation, not hype, not maybe the price will be up later. My website is built on ICP because I can't build a website with AI like this using any other technology.

We were talking about ICP in my Skool today. I had three calls today on Zoom, including one hour-long call and one 30-minute call. If you want to talk about this stuff, I invite you to message me anytime in the chat on my site, and you can go on jerrybanfield.com and see for yourself that you're using the actual blockchain.

Now Compare That To What Is Actually Being Covered

Now let's compare that news to the absolute garbage that is being covered by comparison, and I will explain to you why. Why aren't the top crypto voices talking about this? To me it's very obvious. For example, here's a video with 11,000 views: Bitcoin, why I'm not buying right now. Chart analysis. In my opinion that is 100% a waste of your time. Ninety-nine percent, to put it a little more conservatively. The Paul Barron Network is not covering this today. Scroll down and you get XRP buy signals. Useless. This is what the world is doing now instead of actively suppressing the truth by censoring people: the truth is allowed to go out, and then it's buried in garbage, and the garbage is the thing that gets promoted.

Garbage like Bitcoin's going to $250,000. Absolute trash, in my opinion. That makes no sense when you consider that it would put almost a trillion dollars of Bitcoin, almost a trillion dollars of Bitcoin, sitting on crypto exchanges. It makes no sense. There's no reason for that to happen. Not that it couldn't. Then there's the shocking news that banks are building their own blockchain. Then here's one with 84,000 views from four days ago from Altcoin Daily: crypto's about to get very interesting. I had that video summarized to see what kind of trash was in it. Absolutely useless information, talking about the range compressing. Useless. There is no reason crypto retail should be looking at charts. You need to be looking at where the tech is going, where the future is ahead, and what people don't know about that you should know about. Instead it's technical levels and bull market confirmation. The Clarity Act. Well, let's hope the Clarity Act pushes a bunch of garbage coins higher that have fundamentally no value for the future of the internet.

Then there's Cathie Wood's bull target, which in my opinion is an absolutely insane price target for Bitcoin that makes no sense when you dive into the numbers. That's the example. Absolute time wasters. And then another time-wasting video by Altcoin Daily instead of covering this, with a thumbnail that says crypto holders, critical news. Really? I had that one summarized too, posted 24 hours ago. Altcoin Daily could have been covering the biggest news in crypto, and instead you get that kind of trash in it.

And to wrap up the useless crap, there's the $81,000 rejection. There is no reason you should ever be spending your time watching price charts, because you don't control those, and because in my opinion those are manipulated. And Bitcoin, it doesn't matter what happens with it. The price is never going to be that exciting compared to finding something like ICP that almost nobody knows about, where you've got governments onboarding to look at building their infrastructure on it. Then it's macro tailwinds and the debasement trade again, talking about big broad stuff that is basically useless, and even in the fantasy scenarios you get relatively small gains in Bitcoin by comparison. Then more useless information about institutional inflows and short liquidations. Then mainstream educational content about getting into Bitcoin a bit, and if you don't know about Bitcoin already, in my opinion there's no point in getting into it now. Then more price talk. Then altcoin development: Coinbase selected Chainlink as its official oracle infrastructure. So what? This is useless information, and this is what is being put out instead of the real opportunities.

I went through page after page, and there's not one video on there. Not one. Banks building their own blockchain is useless next to ICP infrastructure, because the infrastructure is already out there. It doesn't matter if banks build their own chain, and they have to actually build it. Look at that information and there is not one thing on there. There are six cryptos that could actually 10x if the Clarity Act fails, from four weeks ago. A brand new Paul Barron video today on the Paul Barron Network. Is there anything useful in there? Bitcoin prices.

Why The Biggest Channels Won't Touch ICP

So you might ask, well, why aren't these other people covering this? Why aren't these other people covering the biggest development in crypto? This is major. A blockchain is having governments look to build their infrastructure on it. You can't do that on any of these other chains, and in my opinion that's exactly why they're not covering it. Because if you honestly cover ICP on any of these bigger channels that have lots of views, and you talk about what it can do, it will be obvious that all the rest of these are garbage by comparison.

For example, once you see what ICP can do, in my view it's ridiculous to even think of Bitcoin as some digital gold or global reserve asset or money of the future. It's like, no, this is so vastly superior. You can stake with it. You can vote with it. You can burn it for computation. You can trade it. You can use it all instantly, and there's no reason by comparison to use Bitcoin. Using ICP cuts out the need to even have another wallet. You can put your Bitcoin, your Solana, and your Ethereum directly in your ICP wallet.

That's why, in my opinion, the rest of crypto can't cover this. What I believe is happening is that almost all the rest of crypto is either directly compromised, in other words somebody is paying them and telling these big channels exactly what to say, or ignorant. I've seen stuff like that firsthand. When I got to be a Facebook partner, top of the level on Facebook, I was given a secret terms and conditions agreement with a non-disclosure that had all the kinds of things I was not allowed to talk about. Shocking things. And you would be very upset to realize that almost all the top influencers had signed that same non-disclosure agreement and were being silenced on the things you needed them to talk honestly about most.

So there's that. A bunch of these big channels that have the audience, I imagine, and I can't prove this, but based on what I've seen firsthand, have either had their channel bought by somebody or been given a secret set of terms and conditions that forces them, so that in most cases they are probably not allowed to talk about ICP, because it threatens the entire rest of the crypto industry. It shows all the rest of the crypto industry as, in the nice scenario, old technology that's not really needed anymore, and in the not so nice wording, useless crap that's been created for the purpose of ripping you off. That's outside of Bitcoin and Ethereum, which were nice prototypes, but which are, in my opinion, grossly bloated and mostly useless compared to what ICP can do.

So that's the first scenario, where many of the largest voices are, as I believe it, actively silenced and not even allowed to cover ICP. The second scenario is that you have people who are just ignorant and clueless, and all they do is chase views. If somebody can post a video about XRP, and bots will push the video, and then real XRP holders will watch it because bots pushed it, then the creator feels like they got a lot of views out of it. Why would they make a video about some other coin when they can just get pushed by bots and pushed by the zombie community that doesn't even look at the XRP blockchain analytics and see how bad all of that's going? That community doesn't take the time to see that XRP only burns a few hundred dollars a day in fees, at a market cap that you would have to multiply by insane numbers. The XRP blockchain, if it was valued based on its revenue, would only be worth a few hundred thousand dollars. Absolutely pathetic. And yet when you've got people who aren't doing research and have put coins in their portfolio and turned it into an identity, you've got somebody who's not critically thinking anymore and is just watching videos for confirmation bias.

Compromised Or Ignorant

Then there are the content creators who are not actively silenced. I'd imagine most of the largest ones are actively silenced with non-disclosure agreements they will never tell you about, because in my opinion they're getting huge paychecks to keep their mouths shut and say what they're supposed to say. I've had lots of other people validate that in all different aspects of life, and again, I've seen it firsthand. If you hit a certain level, someone will come to you with a sponsorship, a non-disclosure agreement, a secret set of terms and conditions, and if you want to go higher, you will sign up for that non-disclosure agreement. You will sign it, or you will accept it, or they will destroy you. That's what you get to.

So for the people who aren't at that level, and maybe for the occasional people who have gotten to that level and for some reason were allowed to get away with not signing the agreement or not having their channel bought out, all they do is chase views, and they honestly are so ignorant that they look at a price chart for ICP and never do any further research.

So the bottom line is that, in my opinion, almost nobody giving you information in crypto is well informed and/or trustworthy. Between the two of those, almost all the top information in crypto is compromised. It's junk. It's useless. It's a waste of your time. And once you know that, you can't stand to watch it anymore. There are all these videos from these guys. I used to watch Altcoin Daily. I used to watch InvestAnswers. I used to watch Paul Barron Network. I used to watch Crypto Tips. I watched Crypto Banter. I watched these guys. In my opinion, they are all either compromised or ignorant. In either case, I will never watch any of them again, because it is not worth my time. All I care about is getting the best information I can possibly have, and it seems like every effort is being made to suppress this information.

Even The Article Itself Hides The Token

In fact, look at the article itself. This article doesn't mention ICP anywhere in it, does it? It mentions DFINITY several times. If you search for DFINITY, you would end up coming to dfinity.org, which is actually hosted on ICP. You could learn about the Internet Computer, and you could see they're the most impressive team in crypto. There's a link to Internet Computer, but even there, you could go to DFINITY's website and not even realize that there's a coin attached to this. If you click "learn about Internet Computer," it's talking about a sovereign cloud running AI-ware. At the top of that page there is a network market cap, for anyone who is willing to look. That is the first time you see it: after going and looking up DFINITY, then clicking "learn about Internet Computer," then you see a network market cap.

So even in the publication itself, they're not hyping the ICP token, and you would want to ask why not. Why aren't they pushing the ICP token? Why aren't they saying that this token is the governance for the network that these governments would be building on? Why isn't anyone saying that? My read on why is that insiders don't want you to know about the ICP token. They want to buy it cheap. They already know how valuable it is, and they want to buy the token cheap.

The other half of it is that crypto is such a scammy industry that governments and respectable organizations generally don't want to even be associated with crypto. They'll be associated with DFINITY, but they don't even want to make it obvious that what they're doing has any impact or connection to crypto. Because in most places, most people around the world do not have a positive opinion of crypto. The truth is that the main thing crypto has done is make the rich richer and the insiders richer and make the average person poorer, especially if you look at how much time people are spending on crypto and how much time people dump into watching utter garbage on YouTube.

Where I Actually Stand

I've covered that more in a previous video, and I've covered all these things: Bitcoin's not scarce, and almost everything you think about crypto is wrong, because it's being promoted to you by people who, in my opinion, are ripping you off. I did a video talking about how crypto retail lost $357 billion. I also did a video on ICP going deeper into why this story is so much more important than anything else being covered right now.

So this is not financial advice. You can see exactly, transparently, where I'm at, which almost no other crypto YouTuber will tell you. I'm grateful for everybody who scheduled calls with me today, and I'm grateful for everybody on jerrybanfield.com.

I made this video for every person I can wake up from the crypto matrix. This is a red pill for the crypto matrix, a matrix that is just draining all the ignorant fools, all the people who don't do their own research, all the people who are not critical thinkers and questioning why things are the way they are in crypto.

If you want to talk to me, I also have a chat directly on my website, running on the blockchain, that you can join as well.

Almost everyone in that situation, on all these coins and all the other top coins, is just getting drained, and there's no hope in it. All these price targets are fantasies. It's missed opportunity cost. If your Bitcoin would have made you more money in ICP from here to the next few years, then in my opinion you shouldn't have had it in Bitcoin.

I also have ICP coaching if you want to do big things with ICP, like build your business and build your website on it the way I'm doing.

All I care about is getting the best information I can possibly have, and everything I find as I go into these coins and these stories ends up in my Crypto Reviews playlist. Look at where the tech is going, look at what the governments are actually building on, and ask why nobody with a big audience wants to tell you about it.
