Jerry Banfield 3D

My own Duke Nukem 3D-style game, built with Claude on my own engine and hosted on the Internet Computer. You play as me. Trolls in JERRY SUCKS shirts have taken over a shopping-center movie theater that plays my videos. Blast them with seven guns, eat healthy snacks for health, find the secrets, and end the level by going to bed.

Jerry Banfield 3D: Jerry with the pistol raised in front of the Showtime theater

🧌 Jerry Banfield trolls

The enemies are trolls in JERRY SUCKS shirts: pistol trolls, shotgun trolls and the big MP40 enforcer. They taunt you, they drop their guns when they die, and yes, you can blow the bodies up.

🔫 Seven guns and your fists

Pistol, pump shotgun, the MP40 I fired in Dallas, the MG42, a rocket launcher, a grenade launcher that annihilates a whole corner, and the nuke that clears the level. Magazines run dry; press R to reload.

🎬 A theater that plays my videos

The marquee says NOW SHOWING JERRY BANFIELD. The auditorium screen runs my videos, the posters are my thumbnails, the arcade has a pinball machine, and the bathrooms have toilets you can shoot or drink from.

🍌 Healthy snacks for health

Fruit and veggies heal you Duke-style, and a peanut butter chocolate bar is the atomic health that takes you to 200. Armor is a JB cap. Keycards open the striped doors.

🛏️ Secrets, then bed

Every level hides secrets and ends when you find a bed and go to sleep. The tally counts your kills, your secrets and your time against par, exactly like the 1996 shooters.

🏆 Kills-first leaderboard

Every owner's best runs add up on this page: enemies killed first, then levels completed, then secrets found. Your progress saves to your account, so you can continue on any computer.

The parking lot: trolls between the cars, palms, the theater facade.
The Showtime theater entrance with its marquee
Now showing: Jerry Banfield. The red doors open on the lobby.
The theater lobby with the arcade, the concession counter and a cardboard standee
The lobby: popcorn, pinball, an arcade and the bathrooms.
The auditorium with red seats and a video playing on the screen, grenade launcher in hand
The auditorium plays my videos. The grenade launcher is delicious.
The men's room with urinals and a toilet
Shoot the toilets, drink from the sinks, find the secret.
The furniture store with beds, where the level ends
Sleep City: find a bed and the level is over.

🏆 Leaderboard

Ranked by enemies killed first, then levels completed, then secrets found; the total time breaks the last ties. Your best run on each level counts. Get the game, finish Showtime, and your name goes up here.

What is in the alpha

One level so far: Showtime, a movie theater in a shopping center. You start on the roof with a pistol, drop into the parking lot, fight your way through the lobby, the arcade and both bathrooms, pick up the red keycard, clear the auditorium, and finish in the furniture store next door by going to bed. Three difficulties, five secrets, twenty-one trolls on the normal setting.

I showed it for the first time in the Alpha World Premiere video below. The art comes from my own prompts, the engine is mine, and I keep upgrading the game from your feedback: in the last two days alone the trolls started dropping their guns, the props stopped spinning, the fists arrived in slot 1, reloads came in, and the hydrant started spraying. My voice lines and my music are still to come.

How a level works

WASD moves, the mouse aims, E uses doors, switches, water and beds, Space jumps, 1 to 8 pick a weapon, R reloads, Esc pauses. Colored keycards open the matching striped doors. Secrets hide behind walls that look almost right. When you lie down in a bed the tally shows your time against par, your kills and your secrets, and your best tally for that level goes on the leaderboard.

What you get for $9

The game forever, every upgrade I make, every new level I build (the price covers the whole first episode), your place on the leaderboard, your save in the cloud, and the game's own chat room on this site where you can talk with me and the other owners. One purchase per account; sign in on any desktop browser with your email or Internet Identity and play.

What do I need to play?

A desktop or laptop with a keyboard and a mouse and a current browser: Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. The game captures your mouse while you play. No download, nothing to install. Phones and tablets are not supported yet.

Is it finished?

No, and that is the point of the alpha. There is one level, the graphics are still being upgraded, and the voice lines and music are not in yet. You get every upgrade and every new level without paying again. If something looks wrong, tell me in the games chat or by direct message on this site; that is exactly how the game gets better.

How does the leaderboard decide?

Enemies killed come first, then levels completed, then secrets found, with the total time as the last tie-break. Each finished level is sent to your account and your best run on that level counts, so you can replay Showtime for a cleaner tally any time.

Can I continue on another computer?

Yes. Your progress, your weapons and your best tallies save to your account whenever you finish a level or start a new one, and the game loads them wherever you sign in.

Is this Duke Nukem 3D?

No. It is inspired by the 1996 shooters and built from scratch: my own engine in TypeScript and Three.js, my own levels, my own art prompts. No Duke Nukem code or assets are used.

Alpha World Premiere, October 31, 2026

From my video "Jerry Banfield 3D Alpha World Premiere", published October 31, 2026.

Welcome to the world's first showing of Jerry Banfield 3D. This is essentially my own version of Duke Nukem 3D, and I am using Claude Fable to build it directly on ICP. If you want to buy this game, go to jerrybanfield.com, scroll down on the store and grab Jerry Banfield 3D. I am going to keep upgrading this game. This is an alpha version of the game. It is still very early. I have been working back and forth with the AI for weeks and I am improving everything in the game. The graphics just got a big upgrade since I started this, but we have got a long way to go. This is just the first level, and I am going to be building out lots of levels for this.

This is incredible what AI can do. As someone who played Duke Nukem 3D, it is an absolute dream come true to be able to make my own version of the game. I just beat the original again in Duke Nukem 3D Final Level First Try on Damn I'm Good No Save, and when I said gaming was back in Jerry Banfield Gaming is BACK But, I had no idea it would come back like this. So I am going to show you. We are going to play on show, because this is hard for some reason.

Jerry Banfield Trolls in Jerry Banfield Sucks Shirts

Everything is hella basic right now, and I am going to upgrade everything in here. But what is so cool is that this is customized to everything I want. It is custom. I made the characters trolls. These are Jerry Banfield trolls. This guy is wearing a Jerry Banfield sucks shirt, and I am just blasting him. We do need to work on the wall clipping, but I have chosen which guns to put in here, and at least these guys start to say Jerry sucks. I am just blasting them, and I made it like Duke Nukem. And there, I just added reloads today. We have got the fire hydrant open and you can see I am drinking up there. The cars were kind of flipping, but now they are boxy, and we are going to have to fix that to make it even better.

This is what you can do with AI. And I can sell this on jerrybanfield.com, which I am doing with ICP. I explained the move in I'm Building My Business on ICP After Getting Hacked, and now I am selling my own video game on it. I just got a grenade launcher in here. I am actually using ChatGPT also to generate the images for this. You can see there is a little arcade. I do not know who that is. There is a bathroom in here with toilets that you can shoot and you can drink out of. Can you go to the bathroom? I do not think I have added that yet.

Why Is This Toilet So Small?

Oh, why is that so small, bro? What? Why is this toilet so small? Hey, Claude, make that toilet bigger. Why is this toilet small? It should break. It should not be small. Oh, that's what she said. Oh yeah.

Now this is an enforcer troll. He has an MP40, I think, and if he drops that, we have got a shotgun. I need to fix the reload. Can I go into the women's room too? Ah, Jerry Banfield is going into the women's room now. Oh yeah.

A Theater With My Videos Playing in It

So this is just amazing what this tech can do. Look, this has my videos in it right here. How incredible is that? It is a theater with my videos and my books playing in it, and it has the snacks and stuff I wanted. Guys, this AI plus ICP is amazing. And look, we have got the MP40, which I went to shoot in Dallas, Texas, at Texas Gun Experience. I put 120 rounds through that thing. We have got healthy snacks for pickups. Watch this. It launches grenades. It annihilates them. Ladies, grenades just annihilate them. And there are actual shots of my videos in there, including one about marrying ICP and one about going under a hundred days. Guys, this is crazy. This is a dream come true. Oh my God, it just annihilated that troll.

And it has reload. I have not got it yet, so you can hit reload. And I made it so you go to sleep in a bed. Oh, the blast radius. All right, there we go. The blast radius should probably be slightly larger on this one. And I am going to add more sound effects and everything. Oh, I wrecked that troll.

And I can edit the level. I can edit everything in here. Oh, all right. Y'all are corner camping right here. Can I blow a body up? All right, so we have got the MP40. That MP40 needs to be pointing out at him. Oh man. And if you hit R, it needs to reload. I am literally giving Claude this video and being like, take my feedback. So when I hit R, it should reload on here. It is the same loop I used in I Built My Own Version of Vampire Survivors with AI: play, notice what is wrong, tell the AI, play again.

Ending the Level by Going to Bed

Now what is super cool is check this out. I decided I wanted to end the level by going to bed. All right, so I will close that, and then you just go to bed. I got all the enemies. I did not find three of the secrets, though, which is kind of depressing. And there is only one level right now.

I am going to put voice lines in this game too. I do not know if it is worth doing the voice acting at this point in the game, but I am going to put lines in here. I am going to actually read the lines and be like, Jerry sucks. I am going to put actual lines from the haters and the trolls in here. Lines like, I unsubscribed today. Come back again, you're banned. You're going to zero. This is so incredible. This is the future right here, being able to make your own AI games. Ooh, that was a pretty sharp sound effect.

And it is incredible how little AI usage I have had to use to get this done. You can see this is the first time I am showing any of this publicly, but this is a lot better than some of the earlier versions. And if I can keep improving this, this is going to get to be pretty sweet. They did not used to die. The bodies did not used to die, and they did not used to drop guns, so they drop guns now. And I can customize any of this. It is like, oh, I want that troll to have a different shirt. Boom. I just tell it to change it, and I can change shirts. ChatGPT went through and generated like a hundred images at a time for this. This is the shift I talked about in AI Can Make You a Millionaire If You Change How You Think: I describe what I want and the AI builds it.

And I got the red access card. I do not even know what that is. All right, let's use the MP40 a little bit. It is kind of ridiculous that it is pointed up that way. The MP40 really needs to be aiming and not pointed up for some reason. I do not know. Oh, this grenade launcher is so good, though. Look at that. Oh my God, the grenade launcher is delicious in this.

A Peanut Butter Chocolate Bar as Atomic Health

Oh, is that, no, that is not a secret. We need to find a secret, though. There is a secret I have not found. Right? This is amazing. How many different videos? What? Oh, there is a secret. Let's go. I got a peanut butter. I like the peanut butter chocolate bars, so it is like an atomic health. I have got like 200 health off that now. Look how good this looks, considering this is an AI game that I have just put a few hours of back and forth coding into right here. Compare it to AI Game First Play and you can see how far this has come.

All right, and we know they are corner camping right now. Where is the enforcer at? Did that blow the enforcer up too? All right, we will go. Can we sleep in this bed? All right. Yeah, so we slept in that bed. I missed two of the enemies somehow.

The Game Is Only $9 and Every Upgrade Is Included

So this is the world premiere of Jerry Banfield 3D. I am really excited. Once I get the basic game down how I like it, then I will start designing more levels and adding more to it. The game is only $9. You will get all the upgrades, and all the additional levels for the game will be included. And then there will be a leaderboard. I think I will put on the leaderboard the number of enemies killed and your best time on each level, something like that, the same way my trivia game keeps a board, as I showed in Top Jerry Banfield Fan: Playing My Own Trivia Game About My Life. Gaming was the hardest habit I ever quit, as I shared in Video Game Addiction: Why Gaming Was My Hardest Habit to Quit, and building my own is how I enjoy it now.

So I really appreciate you experiencing Jerry Banfield 3D for the very first time here, and I hope you will give it a try today at jerrybanfield.com. Also, somebody just bought a signed book at jerrybanfield.com, which is cool. This is desktop only right now, so this just works in your browser. I clicked on credits. Yeah: made by Jerry Banfield with Claude. Inspired by 1996 shooters. No Duke Nukem code or assets were used. How cool is that?

So this is the very first version, and any feedback you want to submit, you can submit it in the games chat on my website or direct message me on my website. We are going to get all of that and just keep upgrading this and making this thing better and better. I was trying to work on this in stealth mode and keep this to myself, but I am like, I have got to show this off. This is so cool, and it is just going to get better and better.

I also have Jerry Banfield shirts. This shirt I am wearing, you can buy this exact shirt on my website. I have shirts that are going to have the 50 names of the biggest fans on them. You can buy those. Those are the founder shirts. All right. Peace. Hope to see you, and I hope you will give the game a try. There is more on my Games playlist.

Jerry Banfield 3D is made by Jerry Banfield with Claude and hosted on the Internet Computer. Inspired by the 1996 shooters; no Duke Nukem code or assets are used. Nothing to download, no ads and no tracking.
