My Website's First Sale After 15 Years of Middlemen

The First Purchase on My Own Website

It's August 12th, 2026 here with me, Jerry Banfield, my real raw authentic vlog as a full-time YouTuber. What I'm really hyped about today is we just got the first purchase at jerrybanfield.com — from Map Technical Forecasting Inc., who was in the open chat community years ago. I have been online for 15 years, creating and earning my income that way, full time for 14, and I've always gotten ripped off all the time by third parties — websites like Udemy or Facebook Gaming or YouTube. Some of them have been helpful to generate traffic, but I've always had to have all these third parties in my business system between me and the customer.

Now, this is set up directly on jerrybanfield.com. I have my own built-in chat, which I can expand into a social media network. There are profiles everyone gets to have on the website — you've got a link and a bio and a website that has a public page to it. Then there's a chat that's only visible to people who've actually purchased. Then there's a leaderboard on my website with the amount of money people have spent, combining credit card payments and ICP payments across anything I have to offer. This is just awesome, and it feels like after a lifetime of being pimped out, I'm finally able to really do my own thing, and I'm really grateful for that first purchase. I tested it with a beta testing account to make sure it worked myself, and I built all this with Claude Fable. It's building emojis into the chat right now, so you can go in there and there are no third parties. There's no one that can censor our conversation in here — it's built in, and it's building in the ability to react with emojis. There's no one else that can come in here and spy on our conversation either. You have to purchase, and then you get lifetime access with one single purchase, and then you get on the leaderboard. You can be anonymous on the leaderboard if you want, but the leaderboard is now a place for me to show off everyone that supports me in my videos consistently. For those of you that care about my work, this is a place for you to get recognition.

I'm going to put a bunch more products in here, like stand-up comedy. I'll even put tips up if you don't want anything in return. And if you want to talk to me immediately, I've got it where you can have a phone call with me whenever I'm online, usually within about 10 minutes — I'm here. This is awesome. I'm really excited about this because the number one thing I really need to do in my life right now is set up a business system that works — that works for me to make money, because I'd like to make at least 10 grand a month, and that works for you to give you a lot of value. Then if you spend money with me, you can get recognized. You can get something back, both in terms of whatever you've bought — like being in the chat and being able to talk with me and only other people that have actually purchased the chat — or getting recognized. And I'm going to have other products: I'm going to put up courses, I'm going to put up comedy, I'm going to have games on here. I've already got some free games, but I'll make some paid ones. So this is like the number one thing I need to do in my life, and I'm really grateful this is possible, because it hasn't been possible before. It only is possible because of AI and the ICP blockchain combined at the same time, which is just so cool.

Two Dates on Saturday

I also have two dates right now for Saturday. My matchmaking service came through today, and they sent me a profile of a woman who looks very compatible based on a paragraph that I can see about her. I'm so excited to meet her on Saturday. So that's the Saturday I've got. I've had at least the last five dates get canceled — maybe I'll actually have a day where I have two dates in one day. Plus, I have things up in the air with several other women I'm talking to, and it feels really good.

I Worship No One

Beyond that, I've been reading more of the Bible, and I listened to George Kavasalis today on Dr. Michael Sala's channel. This guy has one of the best points of view about reality that I've heard before — a great guy. It does line up with the idea that we're all one, you're a god, all that stuff. But what I really don't vibe with is worshiping. I can't stand worshiping. I can't stand anyone being my savior. I am the alpha. I am the omega. This is my universe. I'm co-creating. I'm here by choice. And it leaves me thinking back — I almost said her name — to the queen and how groveling and sad I was. I was like, oh yeah, sure, I'll be Christian. I certainly believe that Jesus showed us a way to live — that anything Jesus can say about himself, that he's the truth, that he's the way, I can say about myself. And I certainly believe that when I walk around, people will just drop what they're doing, like that fisherman in the Bible who dropped what he was doing to come follow Jesus. I think people should do the same thing with me, and perhaps some people do. But ultimately, I'm here to show you the way back to yourself — to stop worshiping people.

George was talking in his video about how there's this God matrix where all the worshiping for all the religions and all the prayers are all kind of going to this entity that feeds on it. But it's not God. It is not the creator. And it doesn't have real meaningful power — it gets any powers given to it by others of their own volition, and it has no more power than any of the rest of us do. And I realized that's something I need to be clear on before getting into another relationship. I have a deep faith. And the faith is that I am the Alpha and the Omega — that I'm the creator of everything. Everything I see is my creation, and I'm co-creating it with you, with everybody else. We are all gods. I say even the least among you can do all that I have done and greater things. All of us are co-creating this reality. I worship no one. I follow no one. I will learn. I will hear ideas from people. I will get advice. But no one tells me what to do. I will be obedient to no one. Authority is meaningless to me. Anything that comes down to hierarchy is not anything I'm interested in serving — for example, anything with a corporate structure, where there's a boss, a CEO. Not interested in serving that. I only operate in a place of equality, where we're all on a level playing field. Nobody's my boss. Nobody will boss me around. And in a relationship, I'm either going to be an equal or the dominant one. I will not be the submissive one. I will not give up who I am and what I believe for anybody else — anybody else's faith or anybody else's idea of who I am and what I should do.

Standing Up for What's True to Me

I had a great conversation with my ex today, acknowledging that we were in a place where our relationship wasn't working. And part of the thing was that I had tried so hard to make things smooth with us that I had kind of given up my leadership in the relationship. I had prioritized minimizing conflict and working together. But sometimes you need conflict. For me, it's important to be willing to stand up for what is true to me, to hold my space and say, look, this is how it is with me, and if you don't like that, then you can go somewhere else. In 2018, when my ex said she didn't want any more kids, that would have been the time to say, look, I'm going to have more children — or at least, I don't want to prevent having more children — and if you're not on board with that, then we're going to have to make a change right now. Although I am glad for all the time I got to have with my kids in the marriage, at the same time, never again am I going to go into a relationship being willing to have the other person tell me how things are. We can either cooperate and work together, or I will be the one that tells how things are. And it doesn't work if you're equals to have one person telling the other what to do. You come to a collective decision. You hear all points of view. You're nice. You listen. You express your feelings. But you don't make a decision until everything has been heard and discussed. You don't ever have just one person telling the other what to do — that's when it is ruined. So I'm really grateful for all these experiences.

Grateful for Your Support

Since I did my last vlog, I appreciate all the support too. I'm amazed how much time you all are spending watching across all my channels. On my dating channel, the video I did about spending $350 on Hinge and then deleting it got like a 10-minute average watch time. I'm super grateful for that. I love all the time you spend watching my videos. And I'm obsessed with getting to know you. Who are you? Why do you spend so much time watching my videos? My website is about giving you a chance to help me get to know you. The chat is an opportunity to just talk with me — one payment, indefinitely. I'll know your name. I'll show you off on the leaderboard. Or if you want to talk to me on the phone or FaceTime or WhatsApp or Zoom, you can just pop in whenever I'm available. I'll know you. It's a great way to support, and everybody feels good — you feel good being seen, I feel good being supported, and people who aren't even watching are like, wow, that's cool, this guy's getting support. If you want the same kind of direct connection, you can also join my community and message me directly.

I appreciate the podcasts consistently making videos about me too, even though I don't watch them, because I learned a while ago that I don't need to hear anyone else's opinion of me. Unless you're in here supporting me in the chat and you're on the leaderboard — then I care about your opinion. And I realized sometimes the best publicity is negative publicity. Even just the video thumbnails — the last one somebody sent me was something like "Chat AI tells Jerry to quit stalking a girl." That's a dramatic title, and it is inaccurate. It said don't send her a text message. Sending her a text message versus stalking are drastically different things. I understand making the most clickbait title to try and get the most attention. But it's not up to me to control what everybody else is saying, and it's kind of entertaining to see the kinds of things people come up with on their own.

Tennis at 42

I'm grateful I got to play tennis this morning. And man, it was so hot. We played for two hours, two sets. I lost the first one, I think, 3-6. And I was up 3-0 in the second set, and he came storming back and won six games in a row. I was so sweaty I had my shirt off out there, and I'm just thinking, thank God I'm in this good of shape. There was one play I made where I was running in one direction, he hit the ball right in front of the net, and I stopped, sprinted, and hit a perfect shot back over. I don't know if I've ever had that level of agility in my whole life. Even as a kid, I was a bit fatter, and I always felt like I wasn't that fast. But I've done all this yoga now, and I have really strong legs — I can max out some of the leg machines at the gym. Even though I look a little skinny in the shoulders, my legs are fantastically strong. And because I don't have huge shoulders, my center of mass is a bit lower, and my legs can move me around very quickly. I love it. At 42 years old, I feel like I can sprint. I wish I could sprint against my 18-year-old self right now and see if this body is faster or that body is faster. There are so many of these stories we tell.

If You Want What I Have, I Will Teach You

This woman texted me — I've been on a few dates with her. I texted her yesterday. I had been listening to a video that said to make your messages emotional, and I hadn't talked to her in a couple of days, so I just sent her a message that said, "You're hard to forget." And she replied literally within the same minute: oh, that's good, I just was struggling with some health stuff. And I said, yeah, I keep wondering why I keep thinking about you. Then she gave me more details — four texts an hour later with some more details. It's been a really traumatic life for her. So I sent her a 33-second voice memo, and I said, I know what it's like to go to the hospital and wonder if you're going to come out. I know what it's like to have a little trauma in my life. But at the same time, I know what it's like to have an incredibly healthy life. I haven't been sick in four years. I haven't been in the hospital with anything in over 20 years. I take fantastic care of myself, which is nice because doing YouTube videos, I don't get sick days. If I don't make videos, I don't get views. My whole basic system is: I make videos, I get views. If I don't make videos, I hope my old videos cover it, but usually as soon as I stop making videos, the views start dropping immediately. I don't have any backup system. This is all I've got. I'm all in on this, and I have to be healthy and take care of myself in order to do it. I have to have my mind clear to speak like this. I have to have my body clear enough to stand up and deliver this and to upload it. So in that voice memo I said, I feel you — and at the same time, if you want what I have, I will teach you. She didn't respond to that.

And it's funny — so many people who suffer. It's like, why don't you want out of that? Why aren't you willing to do anything to feel better, to stop that? I'm where I'm at because 12 years ago when I got sober, I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. And I learned you've got to latch on to people who have what you want. I saw this guy in AA — he's long passed now — and everybody loved this guy. He loved himself. He shared from the heart. I wanted that. So I spent as much time with him as I could. I talked to him for hours and hours after meetings. I did my first fifth step with him, confessing my entire life in all the graphic details — kind of like my Speaker Meeting 2017 book. I just dumped everything on him, and he shared his life with me. And I learned from him: oh, this is how you love yourself. This is how you forgive yourself. And this is how you share from the heart in a way that connects with other people so that people love you.

Latch On to People Who Have What You Want

I've done that across my life. There's a guy now — he's got money, he's reinvented himself, he makes it through tough things in life. And I latch on, and I call him, and I ask him questions about everything in my life, and he teaches me. And when I find somebody who says they haven't been sick in a long time — what do they do? What do they know that I don't? When I was struggling, I asked my uncle, who's a doctor, and he gave me a book called How Not to Die. I read it and I did it, and in my experience, it works. I eat whole-food plant-based vegan — don't give me any of that carnivore stuff. For me, everything about my health is absolutely fantastic, by every measure of how I feel and how I look. I think I look so much better than I did 15 years ago — I had a fat, bloated face then, and now I just love how I look. And that's because when I see somebody who has what I want, I try to study with them. I try to buddy up to them.

I did that on Udemy too. This guy said he was making a thousand dollars a day on Udemy. I took his course. I watched every video. I took his other course. I figured out his entire business system, and I made a better business system than he had. I said, if this guy can make a thousand a day, I can make two thousand a day — and I got up to three thousand a day. I studied him and I featured him in my videos. He filed a copyright strike because they didn't like something I said about him. I filed a counter-notification — I'm like, sue me, let's go — and got the video put back up. And I learned from him. My biggest challenge now is finding people that can actually teach me something at this point — I mean, in something that isn't new to me. I'm still learning: when I started playing tennis, I dumped hundreds and hundreds, maybe even thousands of dollars into tennis coaching, and I played at clinics. And with dating, I searched through hundreds and hundreds of dating coaches on YouTube and used AI to summarize their videos. I put all of them together and figured out, okay, here are the people I want to learn from that are actually teaching something useful to me. I've asked everybody in my life for their dating advice, I've asked so many people, and I've looked at so many comments online.

What I'm blown away by is this: most people's reaction when they look at me — and I say I haven't been sick in years, my body is the healthiest it's ever been, I'm beautiful, women often respond very positively to me in person, and believe it or not, my conversation in person is just amazing (I literally got a date off my first cold approach while the woman was at work, and I'm working on doing as many more of those as I can) — so many people look at me and just apply negative judgments. And from my point of view, it's like: why don't you want something better in your life? I've lost 80 pounds and kept it off. I've quit drinking. I don't have any addictions now — I've kicked all my addictions, all of them. And yet so many people are struggling with the very things I've conquered, and then they see me and don't want help. That makes no sense to me. If you see somebody who's conquered something you're struggling with, the logical thing to do would be to say, I want your help. Tell me what you did to lose weight and keep it off for a decade. What did you do to stay sober for 12 years and love it? What did you do to make millions of dollars online? What did you do to borrow a whole bunch of money and feel financially secure all while you were doing that? What did you do when date after date after date cancels, and you just get more, and you just go for it, and you cold approach, and you learn? How are you doing this? How do you go along without having a job and the money just always works out? How do you parent your children and have so much fun without having to stress and threaten them and all that? I have a hell of a life. I'm really good at life. And yet the average reaction I see from people is that they'll be upset. They don't want help. It's so insane. To me, it's like you are unconscious — you are asleep — when you're reacting to life like that. Because if you weren't, you'd say, damn, I'm struggling with my weight, I'm struggling with my health, I'm struggling with my money, I'm struggling with my business, I'm struggling with my dating. And I'm not just making this specific to me — you would look to everybody who has what you want, and you would latch on, and you would get all the help you could get.

You Can Rewrite Your Identity

If I had to identify it, a lot of people are stuck in an identity. Their identity is that they're sick. Their identity is that they're fat. Their identity is that they're broke, or that they're bad with women or men, and so on. But I'm not stuck in that. I will rewrite my identity. I see what I want my identity to be, and I will change to get it. And I will instantaneously change behaviors and routines in my head. Somebody told me, "You can't just change your personality." I'm like, watch me. I started watching these cold approach videos, and I just changed a routine in my head. I said, from now on, that old "I don't execute cold approach protocols when you see a woman you're attracted to who doesn't have a wedding ring on" — done, switched, like a robot. Going from "I don't do cold approaches" to done, just like that. If you can't operate like that, are you actually alive? What are you doing? Who are you? You are not a mind. You are not a body. You are the operator of this. And you can change it. Your will, your decision, will change how you operate.

You Can Be Someone Else

I guess a lot of people are maybe asleep, not realizing that they have the ability to change. And then they look at someone like me and just feel jealous. And people criticize me too — oh, this and that. I'm like, you can criticize all you want. Waking up as me each day is awesome, and I feel like I just conquer life most days. Even this divorce, and deleting my business and my marriage at the same time, cranked my difficulty up in life a hell of a lot. And here I am today, thriving.

I'm really grateful for each of you supporting me, and I will pay as much attention as I can to each of you who supports me. If you don't support me, you're invisible to me — and that's fine. But I will try to help as many people as I can to have everything I have, and the easiest way to get my attention is to join the Jerry Banfield Family. I want to see people that are at a happy weight, that are in health that's amazing, that have abundant wealth — whether it's from money coming in or money that's been borrowed, it doesn't matter. Our whole system is based around debt. I have so much today — I think I've got tens of thousands in cash right now, and who cares how much debt I have, because in my experience, more cash keeps coming. Tens of thousands in ICP too. My life is fantastic, and I'm super grateful for it.

I'm super grateful for your support, and I'm here for you — I'm here to help you every single day, and you can follow along with all of it on my Daily Vlogs playlist. You don't have to struggle. You don't have to tell all these sad stories. You don't have to go around just saying that this is how I am. No — this is how you've chosen to be. And if you make a different choice, you can be someone else.
