Other Blockchains Need ICP to Stay Cheap

Other Blockchains Need ICP to Stay Cheap

Every other blockchain out there is desperate for ICP to stay cheap, because as long as ICP's price sits there — and when people look at the price chart, all they see is a negative number — they don't even think anymore. This keeps the rest of crypto safe. But what happens when this number turns around? What happens when, like we saw in the last year, all of a sudden you have one pump from under $3 to almost $9? ICP has more to gain from the price going up than anything else in crypto, because unlike everything else in crypto, when you stop to look at ICP, you find something incredible.

I think all these other blockchains are at risk of total collapse once ICP goes up, because the only thing keeping them safe is people who don't understand that there's something way better than Bitcoin. Than Ethereum. Than Solana, than Cardano, than Avalanche, than XRP, than Near Protocol. ICP makes all these other blockchains look completely irrelevant.

The Only Blockchain Where You Can Build a Real Business Fully On Chain

For example, ICP is the only blockchain where you can build a real business directly on chain fully with AI. And that's what I'm doing at jerrybanfield.com. I've made it now where there are products you can buy directly on my website with ICP or with a credit card, which is incredible. This is so far away from anything else you can do on another blockchain, and this is extremely valuable for the world. I've got links to my Skool, links to schedule a call, and I've got a new jerrybanfield.com/chat on there.

This is very valuable, because if you expand beyond "okay, Jerry's a solopreneur, he built his own business on there, great" — think about why I built on here. Because it's the most trustworthy place I can build with AI, where I've got everything on the blockchain. So I don't have to worry about it being hacked. I have built-in sign-in, and it's cheap to host. I've got payments built directly in with ICP. I can do outcalls and integrate things like webhooks with Stripe, and I can then eliminate all this other stuff I'd have to use. If I hosted elsewhere, I'd be stuck beholden to some platform like Shopify, where I'm roped into their infrastructure: it loads slow, I can't customize it, I can get banned from the platform if they don't like anything I'm selling, and I don't have control over the infrastructure. I built on ICP because it's the best in terms of what the tech offers.

Governments and Corporations Want the Same Things I Wanted

Governments and corporations are looking for the same basic things that caused me to build my site on ICP. They're looking at where they can eliminate third parties. They're looking at where they can take sovereign control of their actual infrastructure instead of being beholden to big tech. These are huge narratives and opportunities. And to me, the ICP price pump that's coming looks a bit inevitable, because the tech is so good that people outside of crypto will find it and will be building on it without even knowing about what the tech does. All they're doing is wanting what it can do.

When you can build a site like mine, where I've built my own social media platform, you can have your own profile — your own username, your purchases, you can show off your purchases — and you've got your own URL on my website. This is incredible. There's no other way to do this that would be trustworthy and easy to implement, and this has just recently become a thing with AI. Other entrepreneurs are going to build in the same spot, and all these other layer ones look stupid next to what ICP can do.

The Price Will Handle Itself

Right now, most people in crypto are only obsessed with the price. All most people think about is the price — like trained animals: price, price, price. I can hardly even stand to talk with somebody about the price. It's below me to have a conversation about the price. That's too simple. That's third grade math. "Well, what about the price?" I don't want to talk about that. We don't need to talk about that, because the price is going to handle itself. When you've got people like me buying ICP to pay to host my website, you're going to have enterprises buying millions and millions of dollars' worth to host their websites, and governments buying tens of millions of dollars' worth so they can pay to have all their infrastructure on this.

All of Crypto Versus ICP

And then when the price moves, all these other layer ones look stupid. Because then people start asking: well, why can't Cardano host a website fully on chain? Why does Near do these things with incentivized AI tokens instead of letting AI run actually on the blockchain? Why does Solana only seem useful for sending meme coin transfers and incentivizing building, where you then have to build all the rest of the stuff off the chain? Why would I hold Sui when there are these gigantic token unlocks? Why would anybody hold Bitcoin and hope the price goes up instead of staking ICP and being able to vote? Why would anybody hold Ethereum and mess with all these complicated derivatives and liquid staking tokens and all this DeFi, and have to use MetaMask and all these messy wallets? Avalanche — we don't even need to mention that. That's the problem, and basically right now it's all of crypto versus ICP.

And ICP is going to triumph over all the rest of crypto, because most of the world — in case you hadn't noticed — is pretty against crypto. But what they're not against, and what they're looking for, is technology that can do this: technology where you can make your own store fully on chain and then you can't have that censored or taken down, at least very easily, and you can build your own social network. I don't need OpenChat anymore — I've got my own chat built in directly on jerrybanfield.com. I mean, this technology is just blowing me away, and it's going to blow other people away, and they're going to dump the rest of their crypto for ICP — or they won't even have any crypto at all and they'll be like, "Oh my God, this has a token? I'm buying a hundred thousand of that."

You can build literally your own social network fully on chain with AI with no coding experience. You can easily integrate things like credit card payments along with ICP payments. And I'm going to build this store out to a crazy level. Oh, you want a blog on there? Great — I have 1,259 blog posts on here. You want a leaderboard for everybody who spent money on here? Boom — any of you who want to show off your support for Jerry Banfield. Oh, you want to be able to talk to me? That's there right now. You can stop in — I'm available — and have a call with me; usually it'll start within 10 minutes. This tech is huge, and all these other layer ones are desperate for mainstream people not to find out about it, because it's over for them. It's all over for them as soon as the ICP price pumps.

Insiders Have Every Incentive to Stay Silent

But here's what you need to know: the ICP price pumping will probably be the last part of the equation, because everybody else has every incentive to suppress the price, to accumulate it, and to not tell you about it. Think about it this way — if you're on the inside... I mean, literally, some of these other crypto foundations may be doing this. Who was that founder — was it Sui? I don't even know; they all run together. One of the founders of these projects was talking about how their blockchain is basically like ICP now. They were lying, or exaggerating, or just making stuff up — or maybe they don't know their own blockchain — but they're trying to make their blockchain look like it can do what ICP can do. And the AI can go ahead and call BS on that by looking through all their documentation and telling you that they're not a full-stack cloud solution. They're just talking; there's no reality to what they're saying. But there is a reality to ICP.

So think about it this way: if some of these blockchains are out there acting like they can do what ICP can do, that must mean their founders already know where things are going. Wouldn't it be crazy if some of the founders of these other blockchains were secretly stacking up ICP, all the while trying to keep pitching their blockchain so they can keep dumping their token? Some of these other crypto project founders are in the best position to realize that ICP's the future. So they lie to the public, tell the public that their token is going to do what ICP can do, and they don't mention ICP — but then in the background, they're probably loading up hundreds of thousands of ICP secretly. Can you see why some of the people in the best positions to promote ICP would actually stay silent? Because they want to line their own pockets before it goes up. And right now, that seems to be what's happening.

The masses — retail, the uninformed people who bought ICP — are getting tricked by the price into dumping it and giving up. Meanwhile, the insiders are just... well, people like me. I'm just buying as much as I can. I'm stacking every month; I'm buying thousands more ICP. That's what the insiders seem to me to be doing: buying ICP while the masses, the people who just have ICP, let it go and give up. And meanwhile, the longs are being liquidated on purpose to try and push the price down, and exchanges are able to easily dump the price just by dumping a whole bunch at once. But at some point, all of that is going to fail. At some point, all of that is just not going to matter.

A 3x in Eight Days, With No Warning

Just like we saw on the price chart before: ICP literally did like a 3x in a week. November 8th, almost nine dollars; October 31st, under three dollars. It did a 3x in like eight, nine days. And then yes, there was some selling after that, and it's been down from there. But here's the thing: you're not going to have any warning before this happens again. And when this happens again, other blockchains have to get desperate and panic, the shorts have to go in, and the uninformed have to immediately take their profits. But what happens next time, when this goes to $20?

I mean, you literally see some of the most dishonest creators in this space — the ones who show which blockchains pump every week — and they'll intentionally hide ICP from their audience. That's what a dishonest environment we are in, where people with hundreds of thousands of subscribers, when ICP's price performs better than any of the other top cryptos, will literally just hide it from their audience. And it was them doing stuff like that, and me not being an idiot but listening for their little comments — thankfully some of them have enough integrity to mention, "well, there's one they didn't include on here." So I'm listening carefully. I'm like, which one was that? And I look, and I'm like: ICP. And I'm going to look that up, because this guy had just offhand let it slip — "well, there's one they didn't include on here."

"One they didn't include on here." Oh, thanks, you fool. If you're going to lie, you've got to really go all in on lying. You can't let little things like that slip. And you know, that's why I just stick to being honest. I used to be quite a liar, and it's a lot of work. This is why some of the people who lie and cheat and steal from people have a hard time sleeping and are roped into addictions — because it's a lot of work to maintain all the lies. And with just a little slip of the tongue here and there, you can see right through it. If someone is paying attention and is tapped into truth, the little slip-through will catch it.

I'd Be Thankful for Every Day the Price Is Like This

So the way I see it, I'd be thankful if I was you. Every day the ICP price is like this, I want to accumulate as much as possible, because what annoys me is when the price goes up and I still don't have as much ICP as I want — because I'm not buying at three dollars again. All right? I've had six, eight months to buy here at two dollars. I'm not buying at three dollars. I'm not buying at four dollars, five dollars, six dollars. Nope. Once it goes up, I've lost the chance to accumulate.

And in my view, everything else in crypto stands to lose massively, and there's no other coin with these properties. Hyperliquid pumping did not do anything to the other layer ones. None of these other coins matter. It doesn't matter if they pump, it doesn't matter what happens with them, it doesn't matter what they talk about — nothing they do matters, because the way I see it, ICP has already won the technology race. They can go talk, and they can market, and they can do anything to get people into them.

Once ICP Hits the Top 20, It's Game Over

But one day — one day — the ICP price is going to go up. And many of these other insiders know that's inevitable at this point. They're probably getting their bags in position. They will not say anything to the public about this, maybe not even to their close friends. And then all of a sudden, once ICP gets to the top 20, it's game over. Because a lot of people are not going this far down the rankings, but a lot of people will take a look at the top 20, and a lot of the top crypto influencers are always covering the top 20. Then you'll see ICP kind of slide up like 10 places. And there are all these stablecoins being introduced to promote these other coins — like Ripple USD. You've got these other stablecoins out here trying to basically promote other chains and then hide ICP even further, when it makes no sense to have stablecoins listed in a top market cap ranking. It doesn't make sense.

So enjoy what I've come to see as a limited-time chance to buy ICP — I don't believe it's going to be here forever. I look at this like a sale: the sale is going to end, and you're going to have no notice when the sale ends. The sale could end any day. So I'm stacking as hard as I can, as much as I can. And if I'm wrong, I'll deal with it. Over most of crypto, I've mostly been right by saying most of these coins are trash and they're going towards zero rather than up. And ICP so far doesn't look so good, does it? But when it turns — that's the thing. It has to go down, because when it goes up, all these other coins are wrecked.
