Crypto is a war, and I know which side I'm on. Know who you're funding. A lot of crypto is people trying to act like we're all crypto bros, we're all in this together. Jerry, don't fud these other coins, just be nice. We want one big community, let's all work together. No, that's not how this works. Crypto is a competition for attention, for capital, for trust, for building out the infrastructure of the future.
This ideally would be a cooperative environment where we're all building together, where we're all being honest, where we're incentivizing real technology that makes a difference in the world. But since ICP is not the number one market cap, and all these other cryptos that are doing nothing but extracting from people and providing incremental improvements are getting huge amounts of attention, it is obvious: you wanna go to war? We'll take you to war. This is a fight. This is a battle. ICP getting attacked by AI. ICP getting attacked by gigantic long positions being liquidated at the exact right time to plunge the price. By all kinds of influencers and publications not giving any coverage to the gigantic innovations that DFINITY has put out and given us with ICP.
It's time to look at the truth here. The truth: this is a battle. And there are winners, there are losers. We, ICP, ideally would be on the side of truth, of technology, of investing in people who are building, not just giving money based on hype and speculation. And your money is how you're fighting this battle. The coins you're holding are the armies you're funding, because when you're buying a coin, you are funding the war.
The Three Types of People in Crypto
In crypto, there's three basic types of us here. One, there's investors. That's retail, that's big investors, then everybody in between. Your money is giving power to the side you support.
Then two, there are builders and users — people actually using crypto, like me on jerrybanfield.com. My website is built on ICP. I accept ICP for payment. I'm very grateful somebody yesterday came in at my tip page at jerrybanfield.com and dropped a $50 tip. Boy, did that make my day when I saw it. The leaderboard entry that they chose is "Jerry's future boy toy." I'm like, is that gay? Like, is this from a guy? Or am I reading that correctly?
So this — I appreciate being funded. I appreciate being tipped. I appreciate being sponsored. And I have the sponsored crypto video up that somebody just paid for, and I did a great job. And they're number one — the MaxFi team, number one on the leaderboard now. And ICP holders, number one on my supporters. So when y'all are spending money with me, you're supporting me. You're on my side. You're supporting me as an ICP soldier.
Why I See War
And I grew up — maybe I see things like this because I grew up in a military family. So of course I'm going to see war. You want to go to war? We'll take you to war. Of course I'm going to see war in how I view the world. My mother was an officer in the military for a couple of decades. My father went and fought in Vietnam against his will. He was drafted, and it was an awful experience, predictably, for him. I almost went in the military — I was in ROTC for a couple of years. Then I ended up going into law enforcement.
And I see that, if you can see that this is a war, there are people fighting ICP with everything they've got. It is naive to think that everybody's just being honest and covering coins and that ICP just has a visibility problem. No, it doesn't. We're at war, and they are doing everything they can to hide ICP from you. They're doing everything they can to get your money so that you don't put it in ICP. Because if enough of us put our money in ICP — like some of the holders on jerrybanfield.com that have scheduled calls with me in the last week, flexing wallets with thousands of ICP, some of them locked up for two years. Those are ICP soldiers. Having money in any coin is supporting the cause.
So there's three entities. There are investors — and if you're holding a coin, that's one of the teams you're on. That's one of the armies you are funding. Two, builders and users. And this is where ICP is the strongest. ICP has the biggest potential for builders and users, and we're going to grow fantastically based on that.
The third category in crypto are extractors, liars, cheaters, organized crime, conspiracy theory, however you want to put it. Money, small group of people ruling the world, evil cabal, Satan, whatever you want to call it. Them. They are the third category. They are here to steal from you. They're here to take your money. They will do anything. They will do anything to steal your money. They will make all kinds of meme coins. They will push narratives. They will control narratives. They will hide ICP. They will attack ICP. They will do anything it takes, because they know this is war. This is not "we're all in this together having fun, love and light." This is: the victors get to write history. And they want to be the victors. But if we triumph, we shall write crypto history. But this very much could come out either way right now. Technology could get buried and destroyed somehow, and they are hoping that they can bury and destroy it — and somehow then they will get to run it.
Every Coin You Hold Is an Army You Fund
Thus, I encourage you to look at who you are supporting today. Every dollar you're parked in a coin, you are supporting them. And what do the coins you hold represent? Meme coins, in the positive light, can be argued to represent fun — we're just playing around with money and the world is abundant. In the negative light, meme coins can be soldiers for the devil. I know I've been a bit dramatic with that. But meme coins — when you're investing in holding a meme coin, who exactly are you making rich? People that just click a couple of buttons and fire off a coin and then do anything they can to get people to buy it? Which side do you think that's on?
Every single coin you hold represents an energy. It represents an army that you are behind. And every coin you pull value out of, you are weakening them. So I show up honestly here and make it clear: I'm out to destroy the other side. I'm not out here to play nice and hope they have a nice time. I'm here to wreck them. I'm here to win. I'm here to destroy all the liars and cheaters and thieves.
And how shall I destroy them? By making them seen. By making them transparent so you can see what they're doing. I can just sit here and talk. Open your eyes. And that's all I have to do, because the darkness often will vanish when the light hits it. I'm here to bring light to what is happening — that crypto is all about extracting value from you. And I'm here to shine a light on what these people, that are often anonymous or in positions of authority pushing various things, are doing. They are trying to steal as much money from you using any means necessary. And every single coin you hold that they support, you are supporting them. You are giving them, willingly, by choice, your support.
And this is why ICP is such a threat. Because ICP is one of the only coins that, when you see this — this entertainment that is very much not financial advice — I know whose side I'm on. All my money's in ICP because I know: you want war? We'll take you to war. This is war. And my money supports my army, the side I'm on. And I'm a soldier. I look at it, maybe I'm a lieutenant in the ICP army. And we're going up against all kinds of people that are here to steal. And all they care about is stealing. They will lie to your face. They will lie to your face every day. They will use bots to push videos. They will attack ICP. With AI, they will do anything to steal from you.
The Empire and the Rebellion
And once you see that — this is why so many people that I've talked to have sold every single one of their other coins into ICP. I'm not going to name any coins in particular, but I will say most of the other coins are on the extraction side. And that side is like the empire at this point in crypto. They are the empire. They have the death stars. They have the — what are they, not battle cruisers, that's Battlestar Galactica — they have the star destroyers. Thank you. They have the star destroyers. They have the death stars. They have the armies of clones. They have the AT-ATs, the AT-STs. Do we need more Star Wars talk?
We are the rebellion. We are the heroes fighting against the villains. The villains that are out here stealing hundreds of billions of dollars from people all over the planet, using a gigantic network of mind control, of distraction, of hiding ICP, using everything they have at their disposal. Down to trifling things like removing ICP from the AI category on coin market caps, up to major things like attacking ICP with AI, like using financial manipulation to crash the ICP price.
Whose side are you on? And what do you stand for? Do you stand for making technology and infrastructure that is fundamentally useful to the planet? Or do you stand for "price go up"? Because this side is price go up. It is "our narrative is better than yours." It is "we copied a blockchain, now we're going to sell it to you." It is "look what our fake marketing promises it can do." And the people on this side — this is the majority of the insiders in crypto. Well, I would say the majority of crypto retail actually fits on the other side. And they know that. They know that the masses belong on ICP. That ICP represents what the masses care about: having decentralized infrastructure, having technology that allows sovereignty from big tech, that allows individual builders with AI to build businesses that aren't easily taken down.
Infrastructure They Can't Take Down
I talked to people in the online business and web hosting industry at jerrybanfield.com. Because I'm pretty good at just printing money online. I've made millions of dollars online, working from home. I haven't had a job in 12 years. I make money from my house. I'm good at it, and I've helped a lot of other people be good at it too.
And people say, Jerry, that ICP infrastructure you're talking about is fantastically powerful. Because Jerry, I built my business on this centralized infrastructure, and I don't know who I pissed off, but they took my website off. They just took my entire website off the infrastructure and said my account was suspended. I didn't violate any policies — they just took my website down. So I had to go to another infrastructure and rebuild there. And soon enough, they took my website down too.
And sometimes these are operating in legal gray areas. Other times they just pissed off a competitor, and the competitor went and said, shut them down — and the competitor got them shut down. I've seen that all over the place on the internet, where if you get to a certain level of power and you're not compromised or being paid by the inside, if you're not saying what you're supposed to say, they'll get you taken down. They'll say whatever they've got to say. They'll talk to whoever they've got to talk to. And they'll get you taken down.
Thus, ICP's infrastructure — where you can't just take my website offline because you don't like me — that is fantastically valuable to entrepreneurs online. It's fantastically valuable to governments and to companies.
And the masses belong over here on ICP. The masses do not belong on the majority of these other coins. The masses are only going to adopt any of these other coins through deception, through lies, through narrative manipulation, through "you can't handle the truth." That's the only way the masses are going to adopt these other coins. The masses will have to be lied to and mind controlled and tricked into many of these other coins. And then they'll have to let centralized entities hold these other coins for them, because the blockchains are too weak to allow the person to do it themselves in a simple and easy way — unlike ICP.
So this, to me, is helpful today to articulate, because so many of you have told me: Jerry, go easy. Don't criticize these other coins. Don't try and expose what's going on. Jerry, come on, we don't want to offend these other crypto communities. This is a war. You should know whose side you're on. If you're on the side of ICP, to me, you are on the side of righteousness and truth and technology.
Now, I will acknowledge there is another way to look at all of this. I see the possibility that ICP could be the one world that's going to rule the whole planet. I do acknowledge that perhaps the game is rigged and it doesn't matter what side you pick. It doesn't matter who you fight for in the big picture, because both sides are controlled by the same entity. We're not going to worry about that for now, because in the short term, it's the rebellion versus the empire — everybody else in crypto, almost.
Pick a Side
I will allow you to make one little exception in your mind about one other coin you're holding, and maybe you can somehow describe that coin as virtuous. I make no exceptions like that. There's the rebellion. You are either for the rebellion — you're trying to take down the death stars, the star destroyers — or you're supporting the empire with your money, with your time, with your attention, with your crypto portfolio.
So I ask you today: look at your crypto portfolio and tell me, based on what you're holding, which side are you on? Because if you hold some ICP and you hold some other stuff, you're sitting in the middle of the war. And maybe you think of yourself as neutral. I say pick a side, pick a team, go in on and believe in something, because most of us are not people who sit on the fence. We know where we belong, and it's nice to know where you belong and be honest. If you belong over there with them, and all you care about is making money for yourself and screw everybody else — which is that side — just own it.
Because I've been on that side before. I would argue I started on that side. And when I realized I was on that side — that all I cared about was making money for myself and I didn't care if my followers lost — I consciously realized I'm on the dark side. I'm using the dark side of the force. I am extracting value. I'm leeching off of other people. And in crypto, I didn't even see that there was a dark side. I didn't even see that there was another side until I found ICP. I thought all of crypto was this, but it's not.
We have a team, we have a side, and our leader is Dominic Williams. And I'm proud to be where I'm at today, an ICP soldier. I know where I stand. I know where I belong. I appreciate you helping me belong here. If you want to keep marching with me, my ICP Crypto playlist has every battle report I've filed from the front lines.
And I salute — I salute all my soldiers.
